Best Dressed Of The Week – Diane Kruger In Jason Wu & Christina Ricci In Zac Posen Couture

There was no doubt in your minds that Diane Kruger was your favourite this week wearing Jason Wu.

The German actress oozed sexy sophistication as walked the steps of the Met with her thigh firmly on display.

I knew no one would sway me from going with Christina Ricci this week.

The petite actress looked 6ft tall in her Zac Posen Couture gown at the Met Gala.

As I said on the night, she was one of the few who got the memo that this event was about McQueen, not Stella McCartney.

She brought some much needed drama to this event, whilst capturing the spirit of McQueen.

Credit to her and Zac for pulling off what no one else did on the night.

Christina Ricci In Zac Posen – 2011 Met Gala

Christina Ricci may have worn Zac Posen to the 2011 Met Gala last night, but the totally captured the spirit of McQueen.

She was one of the few who did.

Ricci glided down the red carpet wearing a custom couture Zac Posen creation with a dramatic train.

I saw this dress when she arrived with the designer, and the pictures are not doing this ombre and lace detailed corseted gown any favours.

She effortlessly works this mermaid silhouette with great style and finesse.

Fred Leighton jewels completed her look.

Christina Ricci In Zac Posen – 2010 New York Stage And Film Winter Gala

Christina Ricci always makes me take notice when she’s on the red carpet.

A lot of critics slammed Zac Posen’s Spring 2011 collection, but I absolutely loved it.

Christina looked amazing wearing a Zac Posen ombre and lace halter dress to the 2010 New York Stage And Film Winter Gala this week.

She totally works this look with her sexy pose, sultry smoky eyes and perfect pout.

Even with those played out YSL Tribtoo patent leather pumps she still gets a 10 out of 10 from me.

Anna Paquin wore a tweed Richard Chai Love dress with gold bracelets and black Nicholas Kirkwood slingbacks.

Christina Ricci In Marchesa – 2010 Library Lions Benefit

Christina Ricci opted for a very interesting look at the 2010 Library Lions Benefit in New York City last night.

She wore a Marchesa Fall 2010 ensemble.

Her ensemble included a black cropped jacket which was paired with an ombre pleated pinwheel skirt.

I like this look a lot and I’m glad to see someone as bold as Christina wear it, because on someone less fearless this would’ve ended up looking like a waitress uniform.

Unfortunately the tights kinda ruin the look for me as they weigh down the look.

I don’t mind the black YSL pumps, but I loved the models pale embellished tights against the ombre skirt.

9th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation’s ‘An Enduring Vision’ Benefit – Christina Ricci In Alberta Ferretti

In New York City last night Christina Ricci attended Elton John’s ‘An Enduring Vision’ benefit for his AIDS Foundation to show her support for the campaign.

Christina gave us yet another summery dress with Fall heels.

Her gorgeous pale green Alberta Ferretti Spring 2011 chiffon strapless dress has a beautiful cascading ruffle.

Her look was complete with bold red lips, a black Tiffany & Co Camille clutch and YSL pumps.

I’m not sure if it’s the pose, the fit or the accessories but something isn’t quite working for me.

I love the dress, but I prefer Christina in edgier more complicated looks.

“Time Stands Still” Broadway Opening Night After Party – Christina Ricci In Alberta Ferretti

In New York City last night Christina Ricci attended the “Time Stands Still” Broadway Opening Night After Party.

We are very used to seeing actress in LBDs, but on this occasion she opted for one with a touch of sparkle.

Her Alberta Ferretti Fall 2009 high-neck dress has an embellished shoulder detail.

The dress is shorter than it appears on the runway.

Judging by the way the dress has changed shape on Christina who has a much smaller frame than the model, this was a great idea.

Had she kept the original length, the dress may have looked a tad matronly on Ricci.

Those YSL Trib Two’s and a black clutch complete the look.
