2017 Tribeca Film Festival Artists Dinner

There was a sea of Chanel ensembles to be seen and admired from the guests at the Chanel Artists Dinner, hosted on Monday (April 24) during the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.

Katie Holmes: Despite this being a sheer Chanel look, it manifested a casual, feminine charm. But I think it was Katie’s new, wavy bob along with metallic accessories that worked wonders to keep the look on fresh ground.

Dianna Agron: Classic Chanel tweed was turned on its head in this Spring 2017 ensemble that came alive with a holographic array of hues. The cropped top attempted to counterbalance the looser proportions of the jacket and skirt. I just wish her shoes had been as bold as her fuchsia eyeliner.

Dree Hemingway: Reflecting Dree’s free-spirited style, this Chanel look likewise paid homage to the spirited Gabrielle Coco Chanel herself. Sure, it was a quirky combination with the embellished sweater, girly pink skirt and granny-chic shoes. But, Dree has the presence to pull it off; I just wish she had done something more with her hair and makeup.

Christina Ricci In Gabriela Hearst – ‘Clive Davis: The Soundtrack Of Our Lives’ Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

Christina Ricci attended the world premiere of ‘Clive Davis: The Soundtrack Of Our Lives’ during the Tribeca Film Festival on Wednesday (April 19) in New York City.

While the low off-the-shoulder silhouette of this Gabriela Hearst Spring 2017 corset dress echoed the original look, I wanted to nudge it up ever so slightly on Christina.

I am glad she opted to skip the leggings underneath, as she rounded out the look with embellished black pumps and a matchy clutch.

Given her styling, would you have preferred the black version of the look?

Christina Ricci In CG & BOSS – ‘Z: The Beginning of Everything’ Discussion & New York Premiere

Christina Ricci attended the ‘Z: The Beginning of Everything’ Discussion and the New York Premiere, both on Wednesday (January 25).

‘Z: The Beginning of Everything’ Discussion: Had the actress worn this CG Spring 2017 fit-and-flare, vintage-print frock with the white blouse as originally presented, it would have likely been too overwhelming for her petite frame. I do wish she had skipped the tights to help lengthen her leg line just a bit.

‘Z: The Beginning of Everything’ New York Premiere: While Christina can be hit or miss with her looks, this BOSS Spring 2017 dress was an impressive one for her. The flattering, asymmetrical cutout silhouette made as much of a splash as the bold print in the pleated skirt. The heavy, suede shoes are another story, but I’ll do my best to ignore them.

Christina Ricci In Self-Portrait & Nobody Denim – SiriusXM Studios

Christina Ricci was at SiriusXM Studios to promote Amazon’s ‘Z: The Beginning of Everything’ on Tuesday (January 24) in New York City.

Embodying the feminine allure of Self-Portrait’s signature, sheer lace frocks, she wore a Resort 2017 top from the brand—this one with a starry, midnight-blue motif.

Nobody Denim dark jeans and black stilettos were a smart finish for the casually chic look that would have been even more polished had she tucked in the shirt.

Christina Ricci In Antonio Berardi, Carolina Herrera & Monse – W Magazine’s It Girls, BAFTA Tea Party & 2017 Golden Globes Party

Christina Ricci was also among the stars who attended W Magazine’s It Girls event at A.O.C. on Saturday (January 7) in Los Angeles, California before heading to the BAFTA Tea Party later that day at the Four Seasons Hotel and the Golden Globes post party at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 8).

W Magazine’s It Girls: This white Antonio Berardi Spring 2017 button dress was perfectly complemented with the actress’s subtle makeup and strawberry blonde bob, which was such a fresh look for the star. I wish she had kept the lightness of form going and skipped the black nail polish and studded shoes.
