Christina Hendricks In Max Mara – ‘The Pirate Fairy’ LA Premiere

Christina Hendricks In Max Mara - 'The Pirate Fairy' LA Premiere

Following the Paleyfest ‘Mad Men’ event on Friday evening, Christina Hendricks attended the premiere of DisneyToon Studios’ ‘The Pirate Fairy’ held at Walt Disney Studios on Saturday (March 22) in Burbank, California.

It’s so great to see the ‘Mad Men’ actress wearing such a vibrant colour. I adore this Max Mara Spring 2014 ‘Feltre’ coat on her.

The luxurious wrap-style coat, beautifully crafted from a super-soft blend of wool, angora and cashmere, is cut with a cosy, slightly loose fit and finished with a self-tie belt to cinch it in at the waist for added definition.

Styled with matching trousers and a light-pink keyhole top, Christina accessorized with a striped Halston Heritage clutch and rose-gold pumps.

Two great looks in a row. I hope this will continue.

Christina Hendricks In L’Wren Scott – PaleyFest 2014 Honouring ‘Mad Men’

Christina Hendricks In L'Wren Scott - PaleyFest 2014 Honouring 'Mad Men'Christina Hendricks joined the ‘Mad Man’ mix at PaleyFest 2014 on Friday (March 21) for an event honouring the show, where Elisabeth Moss, Kiernan Shipka and Jessica Pare were also in attendance at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

The actress celebrated a voluptuous, vintage spirit, while perhaps paying tribute to designer L’Wren Scott, in a Fall 2012 frock, which has previously been worn by fellow L’Wren Scott devotees including Penelope Cruz and Ellen Barkin.

While some of the slinky fluidity of the runway rendition was lost, along with the waist bow, the more structured, emerald-green midi dress still aptly complemented Christina’s curves—and her flame-red wavy bob.

Her shiny gold clutch and pumps enhanced the metallic embellishment at the sleeves and waist, whilst a careful rose-red lip kept everything in check, without becoming too brash.

Jaime King In Maison Martin Margiela Couture – Hunters Alley Launch

Jaime King In Maison Martin Margiela - Hunters Alley Launch

Jaime King and Christina Hendricks helped celebrate the launch of Hunters Alley at The Unique Space on Thursday (March 13) in Los Angeles, California.

Jaime King: The actress has been widening her choice of designers a little more recently; here we see her wearing a Maison Martin Margiela Spring 2013 Couture champagne-coloured backless halter layered dress embroidered with glass-beaded detailing. Opting for black pumps and a black Alexander McQueen clutch, she added an on-trend orange lip to complete her look.

Christina Hendricks: As always, my heart sank upon seeing Christina’s look. The black-and-white look featuring a top with built-in pearls aged her drastically; however, the overall fit worked well.

Christina Hendricks In L'Wren Scott - Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2014

Christina Hendricks attended the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday (March 2) in West Hollywood, California.

I have to say I am somewhat intrigued by her L’Wren Scott black crepe dolce vita dress, even with the chiffon cape, but as always I want more from her; and colour other than black.

The beautiful actress completed her look with flawless makeup, a sexy updo and black accessories.

AFI Awards 2014 Red Carpet Roundup

AFI Awards 2014 Red Carpet Roundup

Plenty more stars joined Amy Adams, Kate Mara, and Lupita Nyong’o at the 14th annual AFI Awards Luncheon at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills this afternoon (January 10).

Julianna Margulies: The ‘The Good Wife’ star looked chic in black and white donning an Oscar de la Renta blouse and L’Wren Scott pencil skirt with copper Christian Louboutin ointy-toed heels and coordinating clutch and a simple chignon.

Melonie Diaz: The ‘Fruitville Station’ star wore a Honor Spring 2014 dress and worked two spring trends in one–lace and monochromatic white. She paired the dress with a Jimmy Choo ‘Cameo’ clutch and Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ suede pumps. A deep side part in her hair and sweet pink lips completed the look.

Christina Hendricks: The ‘Mad Men’ star went for subtle color-blocking in a soft blue Boden sweater over a seafoam Dolce & Gabbana skirt. Classic nude Jimmy Choo pumps and a metallic clutch completed the look.

L’Wren Scott for Banana Republic Collection Launch Party

L'Wren Scott for Banana Republic Collection Launch Party

To celebrate the launch of its latest collaboration, Banana Republic hosted a star-studded party at the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles, California yesterday evening.

The mass retailer teamed up with designer L’Wren Scott on a limited-edition, 50-piece capsule collection. With holiday in mind, the lineup not only reflects Scott’s eye for tailoring and colorful prints, but it also features a bit more seasonally-appropriate sparkle and shine too. Notably, sequin-encrusted cardigans, lace and metallic cocktails dresses, faux-fur accented pieces, and a beaded lipstick-print foldover clutch. This may just be Banana Republic’s most glamorous collaboration yet, and for Scott, it’s her first stint working with a major global retailer.

Jessica Paré: The ‘Mad Men’ actress wore a L’Wren Scott for Banana Republic lips-print blouse tucked into a L’Wren Scott garnet red crepe pencil skirt with gold lacquer buttons, which she styled with a matching red sequin cardigan, red lipstick, and a black pumps. The cardigan was a distracting touch, but nonetheless, one that goes away as soon as it’s taken off.

Christina Hendricks: Following Jessica’s lead, the fellow ‘Mad Men’ star also donned the L’Wren Scott for Banana Republic red sequin cardigan over a L’Wren Scott black signature pencil skirt with gold stitching details and one of the collaboration’s peony-printed blouses. She accessorized with yellow metallic pumps, a black Oroton box clutch, and soft rosy makeup.

L’Wren Scott: The designer wore a black velvet and jersey lacquer button skirt with a coordinating black jet-and-thread embroidered cardigan from her main label, but didn’t stop there. To inject a burst of colour and texture, she styled the pieces with a L’Wren Scott for Banana Republic peony-printed chiffon blouse, velvet bow jacket, and royal blue velvet bow heels.

Of the three beauties dressed in L’Wren Scott for Banana Republic, whose styling do you prefer best?
