Steal Her Style – Chloe Moretz’ Leather & Lace

The young actress and trendsetter is one to watch on the red carpet and on the streets alike. Her eclectic boho-chic vibe has got heads turning and even at a young age she makes interesting choices.

Rather than appearing to have left the house in pajamas, wearing leggings should add interest to an outfit. These lace-patterned leggings are unique and more sophisticated than the average spandex.

Paired with an open-knit black sweater, military-style overcoat and two-toned lace-booties, Chloe looks put together and casually edgy.

Rock her look with a Uniqlo wool coat (£39), By Malene Birger ‘Luono’ leggings (£44.50), a TopShop self stripe roll sleeve top ($50), Steve Madden black suede ankle bootie ($99.95) and R&Em Gig bag ($88).

Chloe Moretz In Emilio Pucci – ‘Hugo’ 3D Royal Film Performance

Chloe Moretz attended the Royal Film Performance of ‘Hugo’ 3D at the Odeon Leicester Square in London last night.

The teen actress wore an Emilio Pucci Fall 2011 dress.

Her styling continues to baffle me as it goes from the inappropriate, to age appropriate to aging in such a short space in time.

Whilst she covered up for the cold weather, I don’t find anything exciting about this look other than the sequin collar.

A side bun and black patent sandals completed her look.

Her co-star, Asa Butterfield, looks very dapper in Dolce & Gabbana.

Chloe Moretz In Proenza Schouler – Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Chloe Moretz made a guest appearance on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ this week to promote her new movie, ‘Hugo’.

The teen actress donned a Proenza Schouler Spring 2012 ensemble.

Her look consisted of a long sleeved black striped top with black, yellow and white eel skin shorts with oversized outer black pockets.

It’s a kooky, cool look, but one she actually pulls off whilst still looking like a teenager for once.

She added black tights and black lace-up shoes with a wooden platform.

Loose waves and barely there makeup completed her look.

Chloe Moretz In Stella McCartney – ‘Gossip Girl’ Celebrates 100 Episodes

Chloe Moretz joined the cast of ‘Gossip Girl’ at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City last night to help celebrate their 100th episode.

The teen star, who’s yet to spend a single night at home this week, wore a Stella McCartney Spring 2012 dress.

This dress is not that great to begin with. It really needed someone with more presence to pull it off and prevent it looking like a pinafore or a reject from Project Runway.

Terrible styling doesn’t help this look either.

Her tights have a pass, but I’m not fond of the black patent pumps with a nude ankle strap or the out of place Stella McCartney orange studded clutch.

What should’ve been a young, fun look is just overcooked and unappealing.

Chloe Moretz In Suno – 2011 CFDA Vogue/Fashion Fund Awards

Chloe Moretz also attended the 2011 CFDA Vogue/Fashion Fund Awards at the Skylight SoHo in New York City last night.

The teen actress wore a Suno Spring 2012 dress.

Her ‘Bird Lady’ wrap dress feels a tad too big for her both in length and size, but that’s maybe because I’m so used to seeing her wearing skimpy clothes.

This is a grown ups dress. I had pictured it on Nina Garcia, Liv Tyler or Queen of the wrap dress Diane von Furstenberg.

Once again I’m not really that impressed. I continue to wonder what the fuss is all about when it comes to Chloe and why she appears on nearly every red carpet in LA, London and New York on a weekly basis.

Don’t teen actresses have homework?

A simple bun, hot-pink lips and grey caged sandals provided the finishing touches to her look.
