This Saturday on X Factor Jamie Archer was the star of the week.

He sang the Kings Of Leon hit “Sex On Fire”, which even had Simon Cowell singing along.

Cheryl Cole was gorgeous as always.

We saw her wearing her Louis Vuitton skirt and her Camilla & Marc striped skirt.

We also saw her wearing a white embellished Matthew Williamson Fall 2009 dress at the Birmingham auditions.

Cheryl wore many Matthew Williamson pieces last season, so we should expect to see her in more pieces from his collection as his young vibrant looks suit Cheryl’s bubbly personality.

The dress is not yet available online, but it is available Matthew Williamson’s boutique’s.

Whilst other girl bands have come and gone, Girls Aloud are still going strong. Musically, style-wise and now the endorsements are flooding in.

This week Kimberly Walsh was announced as the face of British retailer ‘New Look’.

She appears in their Fall 2009 ad campaign showing off her famous beautiful curves wearing a sexy trench coat, red hat paired with a lumberjack shirt and bell-bottom jeans. A chunky knit cardigan paired with skinny jeans, and a skinny jeans paired with a sparkling navy jacket.

I think it’s a nice fit, as she’s so down to earth.

The national favourite Cheryl Cole will utter those famous words, “Because you’re worth it”, as it was announced this week that she signed a deal with L’Oreal.

This will explain the plum hair which was only temporary for the shoot of the campaign, and she’s already back to her trademark brunette locks.

Cheryl is the first Brit to feature in a L’Oreal campaign since Kate Moss in 1998. The campaign will be featured on TV, billboards and magazines this autumn, as she follows in the footsteps Beyonce Knowles, Eva Longoria and Jennifer Aniston.

I really hope they don’t dub her voice, or make her sound too posh when she delivers that famous line. Cheryl wouldn’t be Cheryl without her Geordie accent.

“Cheryl is a glamorous, stylish and talented young woman whose warmth and charm have captivated the nation and helped to establish her as an inspiration to women throughout the U.K.,” stated Gayle Tait, general manager of L’Oréal Paris UK and Ireland.

“Cheryl’s striking beauty and much admired hair make her the perfect ambassadress for L’Oréal Paris UK.”

After what seemed like forever in the waiting, the X Factor was finally back on our screens this weekend in the UK and I already have two favourites.

Stacey Soloman from Dagenham who has an angelic ’singing’ voice, and Danyl Johnson the school teacher who gave me goosebumps.

My other favourite was of course Cheryl Cole, who promised that she will not cry as much this season.

Watching the X Factor I was able to pick out Cheryl wearing her Tibi bow fronted skirt, and her cute 3.1 Phillip Lim playsuit from candids we has seen recently.

I also spotted was Cheryl wearing a Tibi Lolipop shift dress.  This dress is a perfect summer dress with its vivid multi-colours.

I loved this dress, but I wasn’t so crazy about her hairstyle.

Her dress is available to purchase from Net-A-Porter’s US site for $340, or the Net-A-Porter International site for £260.

On a sunny stroll round the shops in Brentwood, Reese Witherspoon was spotted wearing pair of 3.1 Phillip Lim ikat skorts with a navy tank and tan gladiators, whilst carrying a Marni bag.

Cut to July and Cheryl Cole headed out to dinner with fellow X Factor judge Louis Walsh in London, wearing the same skorts in Summer with opaques tights.

Granted it’s night time and our British summertime sucks, but I really don’t like the leather jacket and tights she paired with the skorts, so Reese wins for me.

As much as I’m selling to you that Cheryl Cole is moving away from her WAG image, you guys just ain’t buying it.

This week Cheryl was spotted back in London to judge the X Factor bootcamp auditions at the Hammersmith Apollo.

We’ve seen her in Milly, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Tibi, but this time she opts for a very sophisticated Vanessa Bruno sleeveless dress.

I love the rich aubergine colour, the fit, the dart detailing and as much as it pains me to admit it, I even love her sheer tights as they add an air of elegance to her look.

With her hair skillfully teased her look is completed with a pair of her favourite brand of heels – Rupert Sanderson.

Are you convinced yet?

Her dress is available to purchase from the Net-A-Porter International site for £265.02/€325.23.

Many of you have commented that Cheryl Cole’s look is very Victoria Beckham circa 2006.

While it’s easy to see how you came to that conclusion, Cheryl is very much trying to shake off that WAG image.

At the moment she is very fond of Alexander McQueen, and has been seen out and about wearing some interesting pieces.

Her looks have included:
- a colourfully cruel skull tee made up of humming birds.
- black tee with a contrast flesh insert at the front.
- a nude fringed dress with a sheer illusion at the front.
- an McQ Pre-Fall 2009 look with a McQ tassel-embellished leather belt.
- and a skeleton-print tunic.

As much as her looks are becoming edgier, the Victoria Beckham/WAG comparisons will not go away so long as she continues to sport that voluminous hair.

I would love to see her with dead straight hair once in a while or even cut it quite short to take her look to the next level.
