OMG.

That is what I said when I saw Cheryl Cole take the stage on the X Factor with her fellow judges Louis Walsh, Dannii Minogue and Simon Cowell on Saturday night.

I would’ve expected Cheryl to wear a this Atelier Versace Spring 2009 strapless gold embellished dress to the finale show, but Mrs Cole wanted to wow us from the start and she did just that.

The only thing I wondered was how was she going to sit in that dress. The skirt has a bird cage like structured skirt and those seats look so narrow.

I half expected the camera to pan to her and see her in another dress.

I can only assume the dress has some kind of collapse mechanism to allow the wearer to sit.

The look was paired with gold leopard print heels from her favourite shoe designer Rupert Sanderson.

BDOTW contender for sure.

Her hair was styled into a loose single plait which was swept across one shoulder, which seems to be inspired by Alexander Wang’s Spring 2010 models.

Sorry it took so long post this. I had to make sure I proper rights to these pictures as I didn’t want to be sued by peeps at X Factor. X Factor posts will be earlier next week.

Putting away her sexy corset dresses for the night, Kelly Brook wore a black Louis Vuitton Fall 2008 dress which had a peplum at the waist, and a panel of embellishments on the front of her dress.

Her dress was paired with Christian Dior Glam booties.

You may remember that Satsuki Mitchell wore this same dress to the “Defiance” London Premiere back in January this year.

I have several problems with Katherine Jenkins and her Jil Sander sculpted dress.

Firstly she would have looked amazing in the orange dress. So many people wore black on this red carpet, so she would have really stood out in orange.

The most important structured drape on one side of the dress looks really limp, therefore ruining the whole effect of the dress.

Lastly she folded the detail on the shoulder when it should have stood up like on the runway.

This is such a great dress, but she didn’t do it any justice. She might as well have just worn a pencil dress for all the love she is giving to this architectural masterpiece.

Katherine’s look was paired with YSL heels and a black clutch.

I would have been totally in love with Louise Redknapp in her Peter Pilotto digital print dress, had she not worn those ankle boots.

She’s not a particularly tall lady and those boots make her legs look really short.

Dannii Minougue is stunning as always wearing a leopard print strapless Lisa Ho Spring 2009 gown.

The Aussie continues to support designers from her home country both on the red carpet and on the X Factor.

Dannii co-X Factor judge Cheryl Cole also hit the red carpet.

I love the her hot-off-the-runway (2 days to be exact) one-shouldered Chapurin Spring 2010 LBD with the sheer corseted panel on the waist, but it still lacks the wow factor I usually get from Cheryl.

Maybe my expectations are too high, as her everyday style is so impeccable.

Kimberly Walsh of Girls Aloud to walk the red carpet at this event and she wore a cute asymmetrical LBD, with a large rosette detail on the shoulder.

This dress was not a runway dress, but I remember it from the Temperley London Fall 2009 presentation I attended in February were I took a picture of Kimberley exact dress.

Nicola Roberts attended the Vivienne Westwood Spring 2010 show this weekend in Paris.

Bizarrely she wore a Vivienne Westwood Gold Label Lily wedding gown, which is the shorter version of Carrie Bradshaw’s wedding gown.

Her pretty wedding dress was given an edgy as she carried a Alexander McQueen skull knuckle duster whipsnake clutch, and Christian Louboutin Candy Stud Pumps.

Alexandra Burke needs to fire both her make-up artist and her stylist, because on this evidence neither are doing her any justice.

Yes her gown is white, but that doesn’t mean she needs to colour co-ordinate her eye shadow.

Black pumps with a white gown?  Really?

REALLY?

I applaud Myleene Klass for wearing such a risqué dress on a cold and rainy night, but this LBD screams I want to be on the front page in the morning.

Her feathered clutch is adorable though.

Mr & Mrs Kay aka Tess Daly and Vernon Kay walked the red carpet together still looking every much the loved up couple.

He wore a midnight blue suit, whilst she looked gorgeous in a nude shimmering fitted dress with a ruffled bib.

Do shoes come in a colour other than black these days?  I wonder because they seem to be paired with everything on the red carpet.

Socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson looked very happy to be at this event.

The socialite paired a Azzedine Alaia dress with hot red Charlotte Olympia shoes.

Michelle Keegan kept warm from the damp weather by wearing her cute pink Lipsy London heart layer dress which has a bejewelled waistband, with a black blazer.

Abbey Clancy continues to prove that she doesn’t own a dress that doesn’t expose her underwear.

I’m loving that new hair cut on Kara Tointon.  It’s much more sophisticated that the chavy look she had on Eastenders.

The actress thankfully went against the LBD theme and wore a silver sequined fan print dress.  With black pumps of course.

Newlyweds Gary Linekar and Danielle Bux walked the red carpet together.

He looked dapper in a navy suit, whilst she look very sexy in a strapless Dolce & Gabbana dress paired with black sash around her waist.

Although Emma Bunton went with the LBD trend, she did add a gold sequined cape to make her look more interesting.

Lisa Snowdon might as well have worn a LBD as her nude Whistles Abstract sequin dress and those thick tights are not doing her any favours.

What happened to the red carpet sex kitten?

I held off posting this for a day hoping we would get better pictures, but this is the best it’s going to get.

I’m so gutted we don’t get to see a full length picture of Cheryl Cole wearing the same Versace dress which Blake Lively wore to the Costume Institute gala.

Cheryl is so petite, so I would have been interested to see if she could carry off such a dress.

I love the dress, but the 80s style hair is a buzz kill.

Chloe Green daughter of Sir Phillip Green look gorgeous wearing the same Balmain gown we have seen Beyonce Knowles wear on the red carpet.

Again I wish I could see more of the dress, which she is carrying in order not to drag her £10,000 gown on the floor.

My absolute favourite was Terri Seymour, the long suffering ex-girlfriend of Simon Cowell.

With the wind in her hair and the skirt of her Marchesa Resort 2009 strapless embroidered gown, she looks like an angel even though both Taylor Swift and Mary J Blige wore this same dress in different colours last year.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell wows in a white satin Atelier Versace Fall 2009 lace up gown, as she sparkles with a diamond and pearl necklace by Fawaz Gruosi.

Dannii Minogue and Amanda Holden both opted for Ralph & Russo gowns.

Dannii looked effortlessly chic in a black and gold Ralph & Russo dress, whilst Amanda was blinged out in a white heavily embellished gown.

Hopefully Hello! or OK! magazine will feature non photoshopped pictures of this event.

I hate those magazines when they photoshop guests together in pictures. It so incredibly obvious and tacky.

Whilst Dannii Minogue was picking her top 3 finalist in Dubai, Cheryl Cole was doing the same in Morocco.

I was so disappointed when Cheryl put Joe through to her top 3, when Duane cleary had the better voice.

But I wasn’t disappointed in what she wore.

With the exotic Marrakesh backdrop Cheryl looked gorgeous wearing a chestnut Matthew Williamson Resort 2010 Egyptian-style gown with a beaded bodice.

With the live finals starting this Saturday, I can’t wait to see what Dannii and Cheryl will wear for the next 12 weeks.

As she is firmly in the spotlight Cheryl Cole is launching a solo career, but don’t worry she’s not splitting from Girls Aloud.

With a new career comes a stylish new image, to set singing and being a judge on the X Factor apart.

Out go the cute 3.1 Phillip Lim playsuits and in comes Balmain and Alexander McQueen.

I hate to say that the Balmain was totally predictable, but in she does look fabulous in the bejeweled dress we’ve seen on Selita Ebanks and LaToya Luckett.

In one promotional picture she’s wearing an Alexander McQueen asymmetric-striped sweater dress which can be purchased from Net-A-Porter international for £825/€987,90, or the Net-A-Porter US site for $1,655.

Her new single is called “Fight For This Love” and her upcoming album “3 Words” (guessing they are ‘I Love You’) will no doubt be a huge success, as her management have picked the right time to push her out on her own.

Cheryl’s single cover (left) and album cover (right) was shot by one of the fashion world’s most respected photographers, Nick Knight.

I love album cover which shows her wearing an incredible sculptured net headpiece with oversized rose corsages.

The single which appears to target the relationship troubles she had with husband Ashley, will be released on October 19th, but if you want to have a listen click here.

Last week Cheryl Cole and her Girls Aloud band mates put on a spellbinding show at London’s Wembley Stadium supporting Coldplay.

I thought Girls Aloud supporting Coldplay was a bit strange as their music couldn’t be more different, but Chris Martin had been speaking of his admiration for Girls Aloud in an interview with Q magazine back in July.

The girls set list included their mega hits ‘Sound of the Underground’, ‘Biology’, ‘Love Machine’ and my favourite ‘Something Kinda Ooooh’.

The girls all looks beautiful wearing gorgeous pastel Preen dresses which had been modified from the runway.

Only Kimberly Walsh’s (second from the left) dress has stayed true to it’s original colour scheme, and was no doubt the inspiration for the rest of the modifications.

Do you prefer the modified dresses or the originals?
