Sienna Miller attended a screening of “The Mysteries of Pittsburgh” in New York City back in April wearing a Marios Schwab red dress.

The dress was massively modified from the runway to exclude the crystal-embellishments in the fold-detailed on the bodice and skirt.

Sienna wore her hair in a messy updo pairing her dress with black tights, black peep-toes and red lippie to match her dress.

On Sunday night Cheryl Cole appeared on the “X Factor” wearing the same dress with the sparkling crystals.

She kept her legs bare and added leg-lengthening Brian Atwood platforms.

As much as I didn’t like Cheryl’s hair, I much prefer her embellished dress as it had a bit more pizazz about it so she wins for me.

On Saturday I couldn’t help but be disappointed watching Cheryl Cole walked onto the X Factor stage.

After her bold David Koma statement dress, her Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2009 sheath dress was tame in comparison.

I can only believe that the criticism of last weeks choice got to her.

Her JPG dress was instantly recognisable by the X on the bodice, which was featured on many pieces in the Fall 2009 collection.

Her dress appeared to be modified slightly from the runway, as her dress was embellished with black crystals to allow the dress to sparkle on screen.

She paired her dress with black platforms.

The dress was just OK, but the hairstyle felt very dated.

She should’ve pulled it back to show off the X and details on her dress.

I loved Cheryl’s burst of colour on Sunday nights show.

The judge wore a Marios Schwab shift dress with crystal-embellishments in an opening in the bodice from the Fall 2009 collection.

She interesting paired her dress with nude heels.

Again I had a problem with the hair.  On Saturday night it felt to dated, whereas her hair on Sunday nights show looked like the stylist got his inspiration from a local school playground.

You may remember that Sienna Miller wore a watered down and nearly unrecognisable version of this dress earlier this year.

On Saturday night on the X Factor it was Rock week.

I half expected Cheryl Cole to come out wearing a rock chick-inspired Balmain look, but she surprised everyone by wearing a black David Koma Fall 2009 mini dress with Tabitha Simmons Carla suede thigh-high boots.

Her halter neck keyhole dress had an interesting bodice detail of silver tone tubes.

The dress was an interest bold choice, and totally different from what we have seen on the Atelier Versace loving X Factor judge.

I wasn’t crazy about the look, but I didn’t hate it.

I would’ve dislike her look if her hair wasn’t pulled back. The bouffant wouldn’t have worked with this look.

Georgian born designer David Koma graduated in 2009 with distinction in MA Fashion from Central Saint Martins.

David’s pieces are sold exclusively online at Browns Fashion.

After Saturday’s show the press heavily criticized Cheryl’s David Koma dress, saying it looked like a pair of alloy wheels or dustbin lids.

This criticism may have been the reason why Cheryl toned down her look on Sunday night.

She still managed sparkle with her gorgeous smile and gold sequined Les Chiffoniers pants, which she wore with an asymmetrical black slashed top.

Slashed tops was one of the major trends of Spring 2010 fashion week.

She accessorized with a gold peep-toes, a selection of bracelets and a poppy.

Penelope Cruz became the first Spanish actress to win an Academy Award when she was handed a best supporting Oscar for her role in the Woody Allen comedy “Vicky Cristina Barcelona”.

After the ceremony – where she wore a very bridal vintage Balmain gown – she changed into a white asymmetrical Atelier Versace gown for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in LA.

Still clutching her Oscar she looked stunning, as she kept her look very simple by adding diamond earrings.

Cheryl Cole wore the same white gown on the X Factor on Saturday night.

I wanted to love Cheryl’s look, but I was very put off by her hairstyle so Penelope wins this one for me.

Before I get to fashion, Rachel Adedeji made a total fool of herself on Saturday night as she morphed into Stacey Solomon. I was so embarrassed for her and annoyed she wasn’t in the bottom two.

Back to fashion.

It was week 3 and Cheryl Cole wore her 3rd Atelier Versace look in a row.

This time she opted for a stunning Grecian style asymmetrical Atelier Versace Spring 2009 gown with a thigh-high split, which we’ve seen before on the red carpet.

The gown was stunning, but I wasn’t happy with the hair.

I understand that her stylist was going for a goddess look, but the part that dangled loosely just bothered me all night, plus the silver headpiece was a bit much with her big hair.

Had she simply pulled her hair back and let the gown do all the talking, I would’ve loved this look.

Once again I struggled to find Dannii Minogue’s gown, but I just had to feature her because she was DROP-DEAD-GORGEOUS on Saturday night.

She wore a breath-taking antique silver embellished gown with exquisite Boucheron jewels and YSL heels whilst sporting old Hollywood marcel waves.

Definitely up for BDOTW.

On Sunday’s result show Cheryl wore a silver paillette Julien Macdonald Spring 2010 mini dress with nude panels and bold shoulders.

The silver paillette’s gave the dress a fish-scale type of look, which she paired with Rupert Sanderson Plato sling back peep-toes.

It was a bold choice for Cheryl, but it wasn’t my favourite look on her. It worked better on the runway.

I really hope she wears Look 32 as that was my favourite from Macdonald’s Spring 2010 collection.

Dannii blew me away again wearing a nude dress with a peplum on one hip, with a dripping effect of embellished details on her dress.

I have a feeling this one is by her favourite designer J’Aton Couture.

I hate pitting them against each other, but it was Dannii’s week.

Update: Dannii confirmed via Twitter that both of her looks are by J’Aton Couture.

Back in April, Rodeo Drive was the setting for supermodel Heidi Klum’s Vogue Germany photoshoot.

Crowds gathered to see her in a pose in a variety of looks ranging from Louis Vuitton to Alexander McQueen.

My favourite look was her Atelier Versace Spring 2009 strapless red paillette covered dress, worn with Gucci Fall 2009 heels and a red cardigan.

Emma Roberts disappointed many of you when she wore the same dress to the Costume Institute Gala the following month, as you’d hoped to see this dress on a bigger named celebrity who could carry such a complex stunning creation.

Cheryl Cole wowed us by wearing Atelier Versace for the second week in a row on the X Factor.

She was the only one to belt the dress, which she wore with Cesare Paciotti heels.

I don’t like any of the heels these ladies wore with dress, but I did love how Cheryl glowed in this dress and how the belt makes her waist so definded so she wins for me.

Cheryl Cole looked stunning on the X Factor on Saturday night wearing another Atelier Versace Spring 2009 mini dress.

Like last week she wore a structured dress, but this one was made up of red paillettes with she paired with a silver belt.

I’m guessing she’s developed a knack for sitting in such difficult dresses.

Last week she sported an large plait in her hair, but this week her trademark big hair was back.

I love the dress, but I would’ve loved to have seen a more playful pair of heels.

This dress has been worn twice before so look out for tomorrow’s WWIB? poll.

On Sunday nights results show Cheryl wowed the X Factor audience in a less structured sparkling strapless dress paired with Fendi heels.

It was on the Sunday show were gave her first solo performance of her first solo single “Fight For This Love” in front of her husband Ashley Cole and Girls Aloud bandmates Nicole Roberts, Sarah Harding and Kimberley Walsh.

Her military-inspired outfit included a peaked shoulder military jacket, a military cap, a sheer bodystocking, harem pants with slits down the side Alexander Wang Lara Combat Ankle Boots.
