On Saturday night before the X Factor final on ITV, we got see more of Cheryl Cole on her one-off show “Cheryl’s Night In”.

She was still fighting for this love wearing her favourite Alexander Wang boots, she’d worn in her first performance on the X Factor a few weeks ago.

This time she swapped the military outfit for a pink ninja-style look.

My favourite look of the show as when Cheryl perform “3 Words” a duet with Black Eyed Peas rapper Will.I.Am.

She looked stunning wearing a her 3rd look from the Stéphane Rolland Fall 2009 Couture collection this year.

This black gown with a sheer yoke had a dramatic train which Cheryl used to full effect during her performance.

Last season Cheryl wore a pink Krystof Strozyna dress on the X Factor, so it wasn’t a surprise to see her wearing the same designer again.

Whilst Cheryl was being interviewed by Holly Willoughby wearing a teal Temperley London gown, Cheryl glowed in an orange and black Krystof Strozyna Spring 2010 pencil dress.

This digital print dress has geometric fabric panels which I absolutely loved.

Love her or loathe her, she’s given us some interesting fashion choices this year.

Alexandra Burke has worn many Emilio Pucci pieces.

When she performed her hit single “Bad Boys” on “Cheryl’s Night In”, she wore an exclusive ‘one-of-a-kind’ outfit designed by Emilio Pucci’s Creative Director Peter Dundas.

The white two piece was covered in studded eagle motif, which sparkled as she performed her energetic dance routine.

A big wow for Alexandra who after one year in showbiz already has big name designers making looks especially for her.

If you were anything like me you were holding your breath the whole time Cheryl Cole walked down the stairs on Saturday night’s X Factor.

The stunning Zuhair Murad Fall 2009 Couture strapless mermaid dress was so snug she could barely walk in it, and had to hold onto Simon for dear life as she manoeuvred the stairs.

The white gown with the black paillettes was heavenly, but I couldn’t help but wish she had worn her hair in a sleek up do.

How she sat in this dress is a beyond me.

I wasn’t totally crazy about Sunday night’s dress, mostly because it was hard to see any of the details on her stunning black strapless Georges Chakra Spring 2009 Couture gown.

What I could just about make out was that the skirt of the gown was sheer from mid-thigh to the hem.

I loved Cheryl and Joe’s reaction when they won. They so deserved it.

The only downside on the night was Rachel Adedeji who made a total show of herself grabbing the mic off Joe mid song a la Kanye West.

The first thing I noticed when Cheryl Cole took the stage on Saturday nights X Factor was her shorter hair.

Normally when it comes to hair on this show I’m more interested in Dannii’s forever changing styles.

Cheryl normally doesn’t leave her home without an added 200g of hair extension, so why the sudden shorter style?

I’m guessing it’s because of the flak she’s received for using very obvious extensions in her “5 Problems, 1 Solution” L’Oreal TV ad.

This week Cheryl opted for a black and pink draped Chapurin Spring 2010 mini dress.

The dress looks like it was paired with a large statement necklace on the runway, but as Cheryl sports the same style and it leans in the same way as the runway, I think it’s safe to say this is actually part of the dress.

I love this dress, but the black Louboutin ankle boots aren’t doing it for me…I’m sure you’ll be surprised to know that.

On Sunday nights result show Cheryl opted for another Stéphane Rolland dress after wearing 2 last week.

This time she opted for a dress from the Fall 2009 Couture collection.

Her black lame short dress had an amazing train and voluminous sleeves.

It may have seemed a bit OTT for some of you, but it had just the right amount of drama for me.

Her hair was pulled back on this occasion with a few pieces framing her face.

She finally ditched those ankle boots for a pair of Pierre Hardy chain detailed heels.

On Saturday night’s X Factor Cheryl Cole opted for something different.

She wore a gold palliette covered Stéphane Rolland Spring 2008 dress with a black chiffon sleeve, plus a large black bow on the side.

I went back and forth with this look many times.

On the one hand the bow feels a bit OTT for the dress, but without it the dress would’ve been less interesting.

The ankle boots are kill me, but those cute dimples make me forgive and forget.

I loved Cheryl’s Sunday night look.

Her black Stéphane Rolland Fall 2009 Couture one-shoulder dress was very elegant and sophisticated, and a lot more interesting compared to her Jean Paul Gaultier all black look a few weeks ago.

I loved the gathered detail on the shoulder and how her hair was styled into an elegant updo. She does edge a lot so this look was refreshing for me.

Despite both Dannii and Cheryl looking amazing on Sunday night, the biggest talking point was Simon Cowell’s suit.

This was because for the first time on X Factor Simon wasn’t wearing a black suit. I think the grey suits him quite nicely.

My first reaction when I saw Cheryl Cole on Saturday nights X Factor was “What the hell is she wearing?”

I’m her biggest fan, but this Giles Spring 2010 dress was ridiculous.

I tried to convince myself to like it during the show telling myself the look was cute and fun, but then she stood up to give Joe Mcelderry a standing ovation, and then I saw her thorn tattoo around her thigh and it just confirmed how wrong this look was for her.

It was Wham night, so I guessed the hairstyle was supposed to resemble a young Madonna in “Desperately Seeking Susan”, but ended up looking very childish.

Her Christian Louboutin Fifre ankle boots were the icing on a very tasteless cake.

Click here to see the back of the dress.

Sunday night was much better as the X Factor judge wore a hot pink Jean Pierre Braganza Spring 2010 backless cold-shoulder dress from the designers ‘Psychadelactica’ collection.

I loved the bold colour, the tasteful plunging neckline, and the cute matching globe earrings.

The look was paired with Nicholas Kirkwood pearl embellished sandals.

Like I said it was better, but overall it she’s had much better weeks on the show.

For once I loved both of Cheryl Cole’s looks on the X Factor this weekend.

On Saturday night I instantly recognised Cheryl’s plunging Alexander Wang draped sequin mini dress, as I was cruising this same dress on Friday in Selfridges.

This dress much preferred to her Jean Paul Gaultier look of last week, which felt too old for her.

She looked stunning, happy – despite her reported marriage troubles – sexy, confident and I loved how her hair was pulled back to complete this sleek look.

Silver peep-toes complemented that massive rock on her finger.

This was my favourite look so far.

Although the big hair was back on Sunday with this look, I didn’t mind it so much as I wasn’t as over the top as we know Cheryl’s hair can get.

Her Richard Nicoll corset dress with gold panels had a futuristic feel to it. If Star Wars was made today I feel Princess Leia would love this dress.

After a few weeks of Danni being on top, this was very much Cheryl’s week.

Sienna Miller attended a screening of “The Mysteries of Pittsburgh” in New York City back in April wearing a Marios Schwab red dress.

The dress was massively modified from the runway to exclude the crystal-embellishments in the fold-detailed on the bodice and skirt.

Sienna wore her hair in a messy updo pairing her dress with black tights, black peep-toes and red lippie to match her dress.

On Sunday night Cheryl Cole appeared on the “X Factor” wearing the same dress with the sparkling crystals.

She kept her legs bare and added leg-lengthening Brian Atwood platforms.

As much as I didn’t like Cheryl’s hair, I much prefer her embellished dress as it had a bit more pizazz about it so she wins for me.
