Cheryl Cole In Zuhair Murad – ‘Ash Is The Purest White (Jiang Hu Er Nv) Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Cheryl Cole joined Bella Hadid and Araya A. Hargate for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of ‘Ash Is The Purest White (Jiang Hu Er Nv)’ this evening (May 10).

The UK L’Oreal ambassador, always has one night to shine at this event, yet she hasn’t wowed since 2013. And she’s never outdone her 2012 Stéphane Roland Couture moment.

With those two looks fresh in your mind, I’m sure you’re already sensing that I’m slightly underwhelmed by this Zuhair Murad Resort 2018 offering.

Although beautifully made, it’s never going to stand out on this red carpet.

Cheryl Cole In Johanna Ortiz – Hotel Martinez

Having skipped Cannes last year following the birth of her first child, Cheryl Cole was spotted arriving at the Hotel Martinez in Cannes today (May 11), ahead of her ambassadorial duties with L’Oreal UK.

The singer kept things casual wearing a breezy Johanna Ortiz blouse marrying two-tone stripes with cascading ruffles; forming into a train with dramatic effect.

Styled with Re/Done jeans, I love the punchy red accessories which gave this look plenty of personality.

She completed her look with a practical Dasein bag featuring a large buckle design.

Cheryl In Jean-Louis Sabaji – The BRIT Awards 2018

Cheryl walked the red carpet with boyfriend Liam Payne at The Brit Awards 2018 on Wednesday (February 21) in London, England, where they joined Alesha Dixon and Millie Bobby Brown.

The former Girls Aloud member channeled dark sophistication in a Jean-Louis Sabaji Spring 2018 dress.

I am being complementary when I say that there is a crow-like quality to the style with its feather-like detailing cascading across the chest and arm and the dramatic cinched waist.

Unfortunately, Cheryl’s version has lost a lot of that moody drama with the shorter skirt and looser silhouette.

The rose-adorned shoes do not help matters.

I understand she wore them to tie into the white rose and the Time’s Up movement, but there are too many details going on and not one clear focal point.

Liam looked suave with his pale blue Stella McCartney jacket popping against the dark pieces.

Cheryl In Givenchy – GAME 4 GRENFELL

Saturday (September 2) marked Cheryl’s first public appearance since welcoming baby Bear with boyfriend Liam Payne back in March.

The former X Factor judge was accompanied by Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts, as they joined spectators at the #Game4Grenfell charity football match, which raised money for those who have been affected by the Grenfell Tower disaster.

She was keen to show off her toned stomach in a white crop top and trademark wide-fit trousers in a scene-stealing flame red hue from Givenchy’s Fall 2017 collection.

While some might consider this overdressed, I wouldn’t begrudge her wanting to look her best when making her first public appearance.

I’m just not a fan of the animal print calf-hair pumps or the Gucci belt with this look.

By contrast Nicola’s look was far more relaxed wearing a vintage style navy dress with sneakers.

Cheryl Fernandez Versini In Topshop – 2015 British Fashion Awards

Cheryl Fernandez Versini In Topshop - 2015 British Fashion Awards

Cheryl Fernandez Versini attended the 2015 British Fashion Awards on Monday (November 23) in London, England.

Keeping the sheer dress trend alive-and-kicking, yet not wearing a piece which directs us to her lady parts, the X Factor judge wore a custom dress by British retailer Topshop.

Blooming all over with delicate embroidered sequin flowers, her statement dress was upstaged by those gorgeous Sergio Rossi embroidered over-the-knee boots.
