Charlotte Casiraghi In Gucci – 2nd Annual Gucci Award for Women in Cinema

Charlotte Casiraghi looked simply amazing at the Gucci Award for Women in Cinema event at the Hotel Cipriani in Venice, Italy, on Friday.

Knowing full well that often less is more, Charlotte opted for a Gucci (naturally) one-of-a-kind cobalt blue silk gown.

The dress, which shows off her svelte athletic body to a tee, featured a cutaway neckline and open back.

Charlotte garnished the look with blinged-up earrings, black suede and patent high-heeled sandals and a black stingray Gucci clutch.

Gucci and Vanity Fair Cannes Dinner Party

Gucci and Vanity Fair hosted a dinner party at the Hotel du Cap followed by a party to celebrate the world restoration premiere of Sergio Leone’s ‘Once Upon a Time in America’ during Cannes Film Festival yesterday evening.

Salma Hayek, Naomi Watts and Gemma Arterton were joined by the following attendees:

Li Bingbing: The Chinese actress looked beautiful wearing a one of a kind pale blush kimono sleeved gown with black beaded sash belt. Her look was accessorized with a black Gucci clutch and Gucci jewels. An elegant updo and blush lip colour to match her dress completed her look.

Frida Giannini: The Gucci designer opted for a one of a kind black strapless silk crepe gown inspired by the Fall 2012 collection. With a black velvet waistband accenting her dress and a chiffon overlay, we got a pop of colour via her red nail.

Natasha Poly: The blonde beauty looked stunning again, wearing a one of a kind Gucci pale pink beaded halter neck gown with an open back and plunging neckline. Working a supermodel pose, she opted for kohl-rimmed eyes and a nude lip colour. A Gucci satin box clutch and champagne Gucci sandals completed her look.

Jennifer Connelly: The actress wore a shimmering emerald green Gucci one of a kind short sleeved cocktail dress. Her paillettes-covered dress was styled with a small Gucci gold box clutch, and black velvet peep toe Gucci ‘Delphine’ sandals from the Spring 2012 collection.

Bérénice Béjo: Where was this dress yesterday when Bérénice needed it? The actress wore a Gucci Pre-Fall 2012 gown which differs from the look book version which is sleeveless. Her much improved gown has a plunging neckline and emerald beaded embroidery around the waist. Emerald Chopard jewels and a wavy updo perfectly complemented her look.

Charlotte Casiraghi In Gucci – ‘Once Upon A Time In America’ – Gucci Film Foundation Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Charlotte Casiraghi also attended the ‘Once Upon A Time In America’ – Gucci Film Foundation’ premiere during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals this evening.

The royal, who is the face of Gucci’s ‘Forever Now’ campaign, wore a Gucci Fall 2012 dress with Cartier jewels.

Her forest green gown with ruffles cascading down the skirt and around the neckline was teamed with a black and gold clutch, plus gold peep-toes.

Gucci fans will recognise that this gown closely resembles Look 24.

She pinned her hair to one side to allow her curls to tumble down one shoulder.

Usually I’m totally indifferent to Charlotte on the red carpet, but for once she appeared happy to be there.

Charlotte Casiraghi In Chanel Couture – 2012 Monaco Rose Ball

Charlotte Casiraghi attended the 2012 Monaco Rose Ball in Monte Carlo on Saturday night.

The photos from this event weren’t great, but the photographer can’t be blamed for how bad this Chanel Spring 2012 Couture dress looks on Charlotte.

It’s unflattering in every imaginable way as it appears poorly thought out, poorly made and poor constructed.

I didn’t like the dress on the runway, but even with Charlotte’s minor modifications she couldn’t save this look from making her look boxy.

As the party got going, Charlotte removed the top part of the dress which improved the look somewhat, but it is still the worst dress I have seen on the red carpet this year.

And to think women pay hundreds of thousands of pounds/euros/dollars to look this bad.

Who Wore Giambattista Valli Couture Better? Charlotte Casiraghi or Sarah Jessica Parker

It looks like I was wrong as Charlotte Casiraghi was actually the first person to wear a look from the Giambattista Valli Fall 2011 Couture collection.

The Princess wore her blue strapless bustier gown and cape whilst attending the official dinner and firework celebrations after the religious ceremony for the Royal Wedding of Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Charlene of Monaco last month.

Her gown was accented with a jeweled belt which we didn’t see on the runway when the show was presented a few days after the wedding ceremony.

SJP wore the same dress in red tonight on the red carpet for the “I Don’t Know How She Does It” Moscow Film Presentation with simple gold Fred Leighton jewels.

I want to give this to SJP as she showcased this gown so perfectly tonight, but I love the addition of the jeweled belt and the soft blue colour so Charlotte wins for me.
