Charlotte Casiraghi In Chanel Couture - Rose Ball 2014

Charlotte Casiraghi made her first official post-baby appearance at the Rose Ball in Monte Carlo, Monaco on Saturday (March 29) alongside Princess Caroline and Princess Charlene of Monaco to support the Princess Grace Foundation.

For the glamorous event, Charlotte wore a iridescent light-blue silk mousseline loose-fitting long bustier dress from the Chanel Spring 2014 Couture collection with a silk kimono embroidered with sequins draped around her shoulders.

Opting to wear only a barely seen pendant necklace, she completed her look with an updo and a dark-pink lip.

Blake Lively, Freida Pinto, Jessica Chastain and More In Gucci – ‘Chime For Change: The Sound Of Change Live’ Concert

Chime For Change The Sound Of Change Live 2

Gucci’s new global campaign saw some of the world’s most celebrated artists come together today at London’s Twickenham stadium for the ‘Chime For Change: The Sound Of Change Live’ concert event which is aimed to raise funds and awareness for girls’ and women’s issues globally.

The royal box and media room saw many of Gucci’s brand ambassadors from around the world together to support this worthy cause.

Blake Lively: With an arm stacked full of Lorraine Schwartz colourful bracelets and hot-pink Christian Louboutin pumps with a gold toe-cap, Mrs Reynolds opted to wear a stark white mini Gucci frock with a cape. Her hairstyle is the one thing preventing me from loving this look from head-to-toe.

Freida Pinto: With a touch of Saturday Night Fever; the Indian actress opted for a tailored white Gucci suit with black lapels styled with Gucci accessories including a bright-bit coral clutch.

Jessica Chastain: The actress, who was co-presenting with James Franco, wore a black Gucci Fall 2013 frock with a lace yoke, which was shorter than the same look that took to the runway. Adding an edge to her frock, she wore spiked Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps.

Charlotte Casiraghi & Princess Caroline In Chanel Couture – Bal de la Rose du Rocher

Charlotte Casiraghi & Princess Caroline In Chanel Couture - Bal de la Rose du Rocher

Charlotte Casiraghi also attended the ‘Bal de la Rose du Rocher’ in aid of the Princess Grace Foundation, which celebrated the 150th anniversary of the SBM at Sporting Monte-Carlo in Monaco on Saturday.

Every time I feel like I’m getting the obsession many people have over Charlotte’s style, this goes and happens.

She may be wearing a Chanel Couture Spring 2013 gown, but she looks like a pink fluffy bird to me.

The fuchsia-pink lips are too heavy, and the black accessories also weigh down the look.

All in all, this is an epic fail for me.

Charlotte Casiraghi In Elie Saab – ‘Cartier Exhibition’ Gala Presentation

Charlotte Casiraghi attended the ‘Cartier Exhibition’ gala presentation at the Thyssen Bornemisza Museum in Madrid, Spain, two weeks ago.

She opted to wear an Elie Saab Fall 2012 gown for the occasion.

Whilst grey is admittedly not my favourite colour, this silk-chiffon draped bustier gown with a matching shawl is beautiful on Charlotte.

Charlotte didn’t wearing the matching buckle belt; instead she accessorized with a stunning Cartier choker, a slate-grey clutch and shimmering silver sandals.

A chic updo and flawless makeup completed her look.

I have often wondered why Charlotte’s style is so well regarded, having never been that excited about her red carpet looks, but here, I get it.

You can buy Charlotte’s Elie Saab gown in coral from Boutique 1.

Beauty Trend Spotting: Beautiful, Beautiful Blue Eyes

Monagesque heiress Charlotte Casiraghi was bang on trend when she matched her eye makeup to her cobalt-blue silk Gucci gown this week.

Her inspiration surely came from the fall/winter 2012/13 catwalks where makeup artists used a profusion of azures, Yves Klein blues and ceruleans to create eye-catching looks.

At Anna Sui, makeup artist Pat McGrath traced on a thick line of electric blue on the eyelid, extending it slightly up and past the outer corners and at Stella McCartney she finished off the otherwise pared-back beauty look with a heavy coat of electric-blue mascara.

For Prabal Gurung MAC make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury applied teal hues to models’ lids using diagonal brush strokes to mimic the feather pattern of a bird, while at L’Wren Scott Lancome’s Aaron de Mey created a hazy sapphire eye by smoking navy liner along the upper and lower lashes and blending it up above the crease.

While many may balk at the idea, Tom Pecheux, Creative Make Up Director for Estee Lauder, assures us: “Blue eye shadow is flattering on nearly everyone—every skin tone, eye color, hair shade.”

For a more wearable blue eye M.A.C senior artist Keri Blair recommends using fluffy brush to apply M.A.C’s new Heavenly Creature Mineralize Eye Shadow in Bright Moon.

“Dampen the brush to achieve more opacity,” says Blair, “Or for a powdery, see-through finish, you can apply the product dry.” But the aim is to achieve a “watercolor-like wash” on the lid.

Next, for a dash of blue pigment, “Apply M.A.C’s Heavenly Creature Mineralize Eye Shadow in Sky using a soft angled brush, fashion a ‘v’ shape in the outer corner,” says Blair. “This adds dimension and gives a playful quality without being too graphic.”

Finally, to add more depth and definition along the upper lashes, use a black gel liner. Blair recommends M.A.C Fluidline in Blacktrack using a stiff angled brush.

“Follow the natural shape of your eye, keeping the line clean and precise but without a wing. A cat-eye is beautiful, but pairing it with teal shadow can make it look 1950s-esque and dated.”

Charlotte Casiraghi In Gucci – 2nd Annual Gucci Award for Women in Cinema

Charlotte Casiraghi looked simply amazing at the Gucci Award for Women in Cinema event at the Hotel Cipriani in Venice, Italy, on Friday.

Knowing full well that often less is more, Charlotte opted for a Gucci (naturally) one-of-a-kind cobalt blue silk gown.

The dress, which shows off her svelte athletic body to a tee, featured a cutaway neckline and open back.

Charlotte garnished the look with blinged-up earrings, black suede and patent high-heeled sandals and a black stingray Gucci clutch.
