Charlize Theron In Stella McCartney – 2012 BAFTA Awards Season Tea Party

After two back-to-back black looks Charlize Theron was a vision in lemon at the 2012 BAFTA Awards Season Tea Party in LA yesterday.

The blonde beauty wore a Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2012 dress.

Her embroidered dress with a peplum waist and illusion panels on either side was styled with neutral accessories including beige sandals and a taupe Bottega Veneta clutch.

I love the hot red lip colour as her beauty regime has been to go au naturel for her last few appearances.

A simple low bun completed her look.

This is my favourite look from Charlize so far this year. It’s sleek, super chic and I love the red lips with the summery lemon dress.

Charlize Theron In Alexander McQueen – W Magazine’s Annual Golden Globe Awards Celebration

Charlize Theron celebrated Sunday’s upcoming Golden Globe Awards with W Magazine on Friday.

In her second all black look of the week, Charlize wore a form-fitting Alexander McQueen Spring 2012 dress.

With lace trim around the bustline, this dress has a bit of a lingerie vibe, balanced out by the lady-like flare of the knee-length skirt.

Side-swept hair and caged heels play up Charlize’s bombshell look.

Are you a fan of the lace trim, or does it look like an accidental bra slip?

Charlize Theron In Azzedine Alaïa – 2012 Critics’ Choice Awards

Charlize Theron looked sensational on the red carpet at the 2012 Critics’ Choice Awards in L.A. this evening.

The South African actress was radiant wearing an Azzedine Alaia Fall 2011 Couture gown.

Her black sleeveless gown with scalloped edges and a ruffled skirt made her stand out on a red carpet full of summery dresses.

I love the side swept braided bun and the simple accessories which included a Bvlgari ring, a black clutch and gold Giambattista Valli strappy sandals.

Perfection personified. She never disappoints on the red carpet.

You may remember that Dasha Khukova wore this same gown in pink last year.

Charlize Theron In Reed Krakoff – Variety’s 10 Directors To Watch Event

Following the 2012 Palm Springs Film Festival Awards Gala, Charlize Theron attended Variety’s Indie Impact Awards & 10 Directors to Watch brunch, which is part of the film festival.

She looked effortless, as always, wearing a green Reed Krakoff Pre-Fall 2012 dress.

The sleeveless green silk dress with black panels and a draping effect around the waist was paired with black accessories including Christian Louboutin strappy sandals and a matching Lanvin ‘Sartorial’ envelope clutch.

Her styling was kept very simple with a low ponytail and minimal makeup.

Charlize Theron In Lanvin – 2012 Palm Springs Film Festival Awards Gala

Charlize Theron attended the 23rd Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala on Saturday night, accepting the award for ‘Best Ensemble’ for ‘Young Adult’ with her co-stars.

The actress wore a simple Lanvin Spring 2012 LBD.

She paired her black fitted dress with Cartier yellow gold and black onyx panther bracelet and yellow gold and diamond drop earrings.

Is it just me, or does this ensemble not scream ‘Jennifer Aniston’ from head to toe?

Little black dress, simple strappy sandals, gold jewelry – check.

That being said, this is a relatively simplistic look that totally works for Charlize.

With a revealing slit and padded shoulders, the dress strays from becoming too boring.

Are you a fan of this classic look, or would you prefer a little more oomph from Charlize?

Who Wore Christian Dior Better? Zhang Ziyi or Charlize Theron

Zhang Ziyi wore this polka-dot Christian Dior Resort 2012 dress during the ‘Love for Life’ Rome Film Festival photocall last month.

It’s far from being my favourite Dior look. The open sleeves are particularly jarring, but that pretty necklace provides a nice distraction.

Charlize Theron wore the same dress with a black blazer on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ recently to promote her new movie, ‘Young Adults’.

Whilst the dress is not great, the blazer is too heavy for it, so Zhang wins for me.
