Christian Dior Cruise 2009 Collection, New York

Charlize Theron, like Cate Blanchett and Gisele Bündchen really know how to radiate that WOW factor when they wear a great outfit, and this is one of those times for Charlize.

She attended the Christian Dior Cruise 2008 collection, wearing a modified violet ruffled and tiered plunge-neck dress from the Christian Dior Cruise 2009 collection.

Leighton Meester has not quite earned to right to wear, not yet on the runway ensembles like Charlize, but she does look amazing in this Christian Dior Fall 2007 belted strapless dress.

Ziyi Zhang opted for a satin emerald green haltered Dior dress an a black clutch.

Unfortunately I could not get a clear shot of Jennifer Lopez in her baby blue satin Dior dress, as she insisted on carrying that coat in every frame. Maybe she is not feeling to confident about her post-baby figure, but from what I can see, she has nothing to worry about.

What I love here are her Dior shoes and the back ruffled detail. What I don’t like is the eye make-up. Less is more, Mrs Anthony.

Christina Aguilera looks very prim in her white satin Dior ensemble. It looks like the Dirrty Xtina maybe gone for good.

“Gossip Girl” Press Conference, Telefilm Festival, Milan

This is another great look for Leighton Meester, with slightly shorter locks. She teamed her black and white print Giambattista Valli Resort 2008 with Dior sandals.

Ali Larter goes all black, and all Gucci in Gucci Spring 2008 open toe booties and a tiered black dress.

Selma Blair opted for this quirky Marc Jacobs Spring 2008 ensemble.

Selma’s top is slightly different from the runway version, which has a sheer waist panel. Selma teams her ensemble with a pair of Marc Jacobs Backward heels.

Teri Hatcher is red hot in this stunning figure-hugging Donna Karan belted dress.

The Hills Season Finale, LA

Lauren Conrad surprisingly in her own collection.

Whitney Port scrubs up well, when she makes the effort.

Stella McCartney is a very busy lady, because after the Costume Institute Gala, she traveled to LA and hosted a screening of The Party last night.

Of course she invited her most fabulous friends, who all wore her stunning creations.

The gorgeous Angie Harmon wore this floral spaghetti strapped Stella McCartney Spring 2008 jumpsuit. I think many - including me - would have opted for a belt, but Angie wears it loose.

Emmanuelle Chriqui does wear a large leather belt with her paisley blue and white Stella McCartney Spring 2008 wide-legged jumpsuit.

Rosanna Arquette wore an ultra feminine ivory layered chiffon Stella McCartney Spring 2008 dress, with flutter sleeves and a ruffle hem.

I would have preferred Rosanna to have worn this dress without the tights.

Amber Valleta sparkles in this sequined Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2008 dress with a taffeta hem.

Amber teams her dress with Christian Dior heels and a burgundy velvet clutch.

Actress Rashida Jones looks fun and flirty in her one-shouldered Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2008 chiffon dress, which she wore with a large belt to nip in her waist.

Anita Briem ’s Stella McCartney Spring 2008 jumpsuit is a tad too long for her.

Her burgundy petal clutch is divine.

Charlize Theron breaks summer, floaty, chiffon vibe and opts for a black ensemble as does the host Stella McCartney.

Nicole Richie wore a floaty ivory chiffon Stella McCartney Spring 2008 mini dress under a leather jacket, with black peep-toes, whilst carrying a Stella McCartney vibrant beaded clutch.

I would not expect Anne Hathaway to wear something so bling, but she is dazzling in this asymmetric dripping metallic detailed ice white dress.

Shocker….America Ferrera is not wearing Monique Lhuillier.

To this premiere she wore purple belted Dolce & Gabbana sheath dress, with black patent shoes, looking as beautiful as always.

Kate del Castillo wore her hair big with her black cocktail dress with a fringe skirt and tribal bodice from Jenny Packham’s Spring 2008 collection.

Lauren Conrad Collection, LA

Lauren Conrad wore this black tiered dress of her own design, to her first collection at LA Fashion Week.

The dress is OK, but I feel I have seen this style on Lauren too many times.

Audrina Patridge wore a long strapless turquoise dress by her designer friend, with a very supportive strapless bra.

Lauren’s frienemy, Kristin Cavallari dressed down for the occasion wearing an aqua top and jeans.

Maybe she was hoping to score some free clothes.

Former Spice Girl and new mother, Emma Bunton took a night of changing diapers to become a yummy mummy for an evening.

Anika Noni Rose best known for her part in Dreamgirls, is appearing in ‘Cat on a Hot Tin Roof’ and was on the red carpet for the opening night wearing a coral and silver sequined Naeem Khan Spring 2008 dress with silver sandals.

I always loved Anika on the red carpet. For the Oscar last year she wore a stunning silver sequined plunge-neck dress.

I will always be in love with Catherine Zeta-Jones’ style because it is always effortless and she is forever beautiful.

First Annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon

Regular readers will know that I LOVE the designer Elie Saab and Kerry Washington (minus her shorter hair style). So you can imagine how much I fell in love with Kerry in this stunning Elie Saab Spring 2008 Couture ensemble.

Jada Pinkett-Smith looked fabulous in this vintage Nina Ricci red-and-white polka dot haltered gown.

Katie Holmes wore this black and white Alexander McQueen Spring 2008 draped dress with structured sleeves.

Katie teamed her dress with the same lavender Christian Louboutin peep-toes, she wore to the Welcome To LA Party she hosted for Victoria and David Beckham.

Soon to be divorced Tracey Edmonds attended this event looking very sexy in this black keyhole Roberto Cavalli dress with black bowed sandals.

Kara Ross NY Oscar Collection Cocktail Party, LA

Busy night for Miss Washington.

To this event she wore a satin ombre pink bowed top, and a black satin skirt, which are both from the Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2008 collection.

This asymmetric 80s Oscar De La Renta gown is beautifully colourful on Angie Harmon.

De Grisogono’s Hollywood Dominos Benefiting The Art Of Elysium, LA

Demi Moore goes old school glamour in a white Roberto Cavalli gown with a fur jacket.

Minus the hair, I am loving how sophisticated Kate Hudson looks in this Christian Dior off-the-shoulder satin gown.

Charlize Theron opted for a sexy sheer Christian Dior Spring 2008 gown. She completed the look with stunning jewels.

Before her pregnancy Salma Hayek style was very sexy and in your face. Post-pregnancy she has become very bland on the red carpet. I am not liking this Alexander McQueen Fall 2006 dress on her at all.

Kate Beckinsale also opted for a sheer black gown, but hers is a YSL vintage gown.

Molly Sims’ Katy Rodriguez Spring 2008 green and white dress would have worked if she had done something more drastic with her hair.

Rumer Willis halter dress looks very restricting. I imagine she would have had to hop down the red carpet.

Rachel Zoe’s seems to be less wrinkly than usual.
