Charlize Theron In Stella McCartney – ‘Prometheus’ Paris Premiere

Rihanna may have been wearing Stella McCartney almost exclusively the last few weeks, but it’s Charlize Theron who got first dibs on the designers Fall 2012 collection.

The South African beauty was in France today for the ‘Prometheus’ Paris premiere, held at the Cinema Gaumont Marignan.

It’s a strange time to hold a premiere for a movie before lunch time, but on a slow news day this look is very much welcome.

Charlize’s dress is slightly different from the dress which took to the runway.

The runway version has a flared skirt and the embossed, textured jacquard is on the bodice and sleeves rather than the skirt.

Charlize made the right choice picking this dress as her version is more suited to her style. I can picture the runway version on someone like Dakota Fanning.

Whilst I love dress and the electric blue colour, I can’t get on board with the black wedges.

Why have such lovely long legs if you’re going to stump them with these wedges?

Charlize Theron for Vogue UK May 2012

Surprisingly, Charlize Theron makes her Vogue UK debut on the cover of their May 2012 issue.

The blonde beauty, known for her close association with Dior, wears a sky-blue Versace Spring 2012 gown on the cover which was shot by Patrick Demarchelier.

The rest of her editorial she does wear Dior, of course, and Luisa Beccaria.

In the magazine goes on sale Monday April 9, Charlize talks about her adopted baby boy, Jackson and her days as a model in the 90s.

Charlize Theron In Christian Dior & Kristen Stewart In Diesel – The ‘Today’ Show

Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron made a guest appearance on ‘Today’ to promote their new movie, ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’.

Charlize donned yet another all-black look, this time wearing a Christian Dior black sleeveless turtleneck dress.

She teamed her dress with black strappy wedges and Anita Ko 18k rose gold spike stud earrings.

Kristen sported a casual yet edgy ensemble which is the type of look I have been longing for her to wear for a long time.

She wore a Diesel abstract-print shirt with Helmut Lang leather and jersey skinny pants which she topped off with a black Rebecca Minkoff ‘Becky’ jacket which features a draped collar and an asymmetric hem.

She finished off her look with a half-up, half-down hairstyle.

There was a point when I was looking forward to this promotional tour, but thanks to Elizabeth Banks and Jennifer Lawrence, my expectations are very high.

On current form, I’m not sure Charlize will meet those expectations.

Let’s hope she’s saving the wow moments for the red carpet.

Charlize Theron In Acne – 2012 Human Rights Campaign Los Angeles Gala

Charlize Theron attended the 2012 Human Rights Campaign Los Angeles Gala at the Ritz Carlton/JW Marriott this weekend, where she picked up the Ally for Equality Award.

The Oscar-winning actress looked beautiful as always, working the red carpet wearing an elegant black Acne frock.

Whilst she does look chic, I’m not in love with this dress.

I may have fallen in love with her dress had it been teamed with some interesting accessories.

Black sandals, a black Tom Ford black leather clutch, diamond-drop earrings and matching bangles are what she opted for to accessorize her look.

Her blonde tresses were knotted and swept to one side to provide the finishing touch.

Charlize Theron In Boy by Band of Outsiders – 25 Most Powerful Stylists Luncheon

New mum Charlize Theron was also in attendance at the inaugural 25 Most Powerful Stylists Luncheon hosted by The Hollywood Reporter and Jimmy Choo at Soho House in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon.

She wore a Boy by Band of Outsiders coat dress for the occasion.

The lightweight wool dress features a notched lapel collar, 3/4-length sleeves with padded shoulders, and a pleated skirt.

The menswear-inspired blazer-style dress is a typically chic, effortless look for Charlize, but I would’ve loved to have seen her add some interesting accessories to this look.

A low ponytail and black sandals provided the finishing touches.

Charlie Theron In Christian Dior – 2012 Golden Globe Awards

Charlize Theron was my best dressed at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards.

After an impressive run-up to this event, she blew me away in this Christian Dior Couture gown.

The dusty rose silk-chiffon gown has a lot going on with the sexy thigh-high, the draped detail on the hip and the train, but Charlize pulls it off with relative ease.

I love the uber-girlie styling with the glitter headband and side-swept bun.

A matching pink clutch, white Givenchy ankle sandals and Cartier jewels completed her look.
