Charlize Theron In Halston Heritage – ‘The Gunman’ World Premiere

Charlize Theron In Halston Heritage - 'The Gunman' World Premiere

Overall it was a quiet night on the red carpet on Monday (February 16), so thank God for power couple Sean Penn and Charlize Theron’s appearance at the BFI Southbank for the world premiere of ‘The Gunman’ in London, England.

He was looking very sharp despite the crooked tie, while she was a vision in all black (words I rarely say).

Charlize these days appears to be forgoing her usual favourites – Givenchy, Alexander McQueen and Dior – for other brands, yet she’s still sticking to trusted black.

Following her Jenny Packham gown from last week, on this occasion she wore a Halston Heritage halter gown.

Timelessly elegant, the gold neckline offers a modern vibe to this red carpet look, which finds the perfect balance between effortlessness and dressed up.

I love the overall ease and serenity of this look, with simple Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals and an Emm Kuo clutch adding some contrast to this all-black look.

Charlize Theron In Jenny Packham – Sanremo 2015

Charlize Theron In Jenny Packham - Sanremo 2015
Charlize Theron attended the second night of the 65th Festival di Sanremo 2015 at TeatroAriston on Wednesday (February 11) in Sanremo, Italy.

The actress stunned in a Jenny Packham black gown that moved beautifully as she entered the stage area.

With the embellished bodice and pleated chiffon-like layers of the skirt, the dress took on a flowing, Grecian flair.

I love how effortlessly Charlize carried off the relaxed elegance of this look, finishing it with tousled waves and sun-kissed makeup.

4th Annual Sean Penn & Friends ‘Help Haiti Home’ Gala Benefit

4th Annual Sean Penn & Friends 'Help Haiti Home' Gala Benefit

The 4th Annual Sean Penn & Friends HELP HAITI HOME Gala Benefiting J/P Haitian Relief Organization was held at the Montage Hotel on Saturday (January 10) in Los Angeles, California, which raise approximately $6 million.

Charlize Theron: Joining her fiancé on the red carpet, the South-African actress added a touch of glamour to proceedings wearing a beaded Givenchy halter-neck dress with a shimmering effect that no doubt grabbed attention of the night along with the sight of those long, lean legs. The look was styled simply with Givenchy black accessories and Harry Winston jewels.

Reese Witherspoon: The actress wore a black Balenciaga v-neck frock accented with crystal detailing styled with Christian Louboutin black satin ‘Gardnera’ sandals. Despite the bling, I’m still waiting for Reese it take things back up to fifth gear; this effort is stalling in second.

Salma Hayek: If the dress code was LBD, Salma flaunted the rules wearing a Stella McCartney fitted, racer-front, teal-blue gown with sexy lace panels snaking down the sides giving her an even slinkier silhouette. Styled with an oversized blue clutch, the look was completed with diamond jewels and kohl-rimmed eyes. I can’t wait to see her on the red carpet tonight at the Golden Globes.

For me Salma was the best of the bunch. What do you think?

Christian Dior Fall 2014 Couture Front Row

Christian Dior Falll 2014 Couture Front Row

Christian Dior presented their Fall 2014 Haute Couture collection this afternoon (July 7) in Paris, France with a host of familiar faces in the front row.

Charlize Theron: The brand’s golden girl shimmered in the front row wearing a metallic-gold short-sleeved mini dress which showcased those gorgeous gams, which were elongated further with nude pumps. Yellow-gold Anita Ko diamond earring completed her look. Glamour in its simplest form.

Marion Cotillard: Of all the Dior ambassadors, the French actress has perhaps worn the brand most consistently. While not every look has been a hit, she is always a delight to watch. On this occasion she wore a Resort 2014 black top with a fold-over detail and printed silk-scarf panel paired with a high-waisted skirt. The styling was kept simple with Dior pumps and a Miss Dior bag, as was the hair and makeup. Anyone else think this look was crying out for a pair of red pumps?

Jennifer Lawrence: Despite going into her second term as a Dior ambassador, she is still the new kid on the block. Like Marion, Jennifer’s selections for Dior haven’t always been so well received, but on this occasion she proves herself a worthy ambassador, wearing a Resort 2014 ‘Noeud Dior’ printed silk-scarf top paired with a white suede high-waisted skirt. J’adore the two-tone black and white accessories, which included pumps with both ankle and asymmetrical straps, a patent-leather clutch, and Dior tribal earrings. We whine about Jennifer often looking too old in her Dior looks, but I’m sure you will agree this look doesn’t age her at all. This is one of my favourite JLaw/Dior looks (although not a fan of the makeup). And thank God her hairstylist realized they were working with a 20-something star and not Hillary Clinton.

Charlize Theron In Stella McCartney – ‘A Million Ways To Die In The West’ London Photocall

Charlize Theron In Stella McCartney - 'A Million Ways To Die

Charlize Theron joined Amanda Seyfried at the ‘A Million Ways To Die In The West’ London photo call, hosted on Tuesday (May 27) at Claridges.

The actress also took the LBD route; hers a Stella McCartney Spring 2014 black python jacquard dress with exaggerated sleeves.

She accented the leggy ensemble with understated black sandals, along with delicate emerald earrings, a softly textured updo and a ruby-red pout.

Sometimes minimal looks can deliver maximum impact. I have a feeling that was the case here, although some of the more subtle detailing and silhouette of the dress may be lost in photographs.
