Chanel Iman In Roland Mouret – Sports Illustrated ‘Club SI’ Party

Chanel Iman In Roland Mouret - Sports Illustrated 'Club SI' Party

Chanel Iman attended the Club SI Swimsuit Party at LIV Nightclub hosted by Sports Illustrated at Fontainebleau Miami on Wednesday (February 19) in Miami Beach, Florida.

Despite most of the models opting for micro-minis and crop tops to celebrate this nonstop celebration, Chanel has been graceful in gowns.

On this occasion she wore a Roland Mouret ‘Pavo’ strapless gown in a bright fuchsia hue, styling the look with Roland Mouret’s ‘Palais Royal’ clutch.

The colour is heavenly on her skin, but the dress needed just a slight adjustment because, as the pointy peaks have folded down, perhaps it was too tight on the bust.

Sultry smoky eyes and a simple pony rounded out her second magnificent look in a row.

Chanel Iman joined Lily Aldridge on the red carpet for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 50 Years of Swim in NYC Celebration held at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Beach House on Tuesday (February 18) in New York City.

The supermodel didn’t go the short and sexy route, instead she wore a Rami Al Ali beaded silver pleated gown with deep plunging neckline.

Keeping the silvery theme going Chanel added a Christian Louboutin oval clutch, an EF Collection bracelet, Liv Haley diamond bar 14k gold earrings and smouldering silvery eye makeup. Wavy tresses rounded out her look.

2014 amfAR New York Gala Models Roundup

2014 amfAR New York Gala Models Roundup

Here is a roundup of the rest of the ladies who took to the red carpet for the 2014 amfAR New York Gala held at Cipriani Wall Street on Wednesday (February 5) in New York City.

Karolina Kurkova: The Czech model looked stunning wearing a black Armani dress slashed on both the thigh and bodice, with both enriched by beaded detailing. Neutral makeup and bow-accented Jimmy Choo ‘Escape’ sandals completed her look.

Ajak Deng: Also wearing black with breathtaking results was Ajak Deng. Gearing up for a busy fashion month, she started off on the right note wearing a sparkling Kaufmanfranco Fall 2013 gown with sheer inserts which is very much on the right side of sexy.

Dree Hemingway: While everyone was wearing a gown, Dree marched to the beat of her own drum, wearing a super chic Chloé Resort 2014 look featuring a navy top, white ruffled shirt and loose-fit pants. She was my second favourite at this event after Lily Alridge.

‘Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom’ Special Screening Red Carpet Roundup

'Mandela Long Walk To Freedom' Special Screening Red Carpet Roundup

There were some models who took to the red carpet yesterday evening for the ‘Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom’ screening hosted by U2, Anna Wintour, and Bob and Harvey Weinstein with Burberry in New York City.

Anne V: Working a black-and-red look, the model wore a Versace Fall 2013 embossed sleeveless dress with black accessories in the same manner as Nieves Alvarez. I would’ve loved her to have worked either fierce smoky eyes or a bold lip colour with this look.

Chanel Iman: She did work a smoky eye with her pretty J. Mendel Resort 2014 seafoam silk-mousseline and satin-faced chiffon gown featuring geometric-cut pleating.

Sessilee Lopez: Turning to her go-to designer and friend Zac Posen, the pregnant model donned a Zac Posen pretty printed Spring 2014 gown with ruffled shoulders and a V-neckline.

Considering the star of the movie Naomie Harris didn’t wear a gown, did Chanel Iman and Sessilee Lopez overdress for this screening?

2013 Style Awards Red Carpet Roundup

2013 Style Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a quick look at some of the other attendees at the 2013 Style Awards hosted by Nicole Richie at the Lincoln Center in New York City yesterday evening.

Anna Cleveland: The model, who is always featured in Zac Posen’s look books and takes the runway at his shows, wore a stunning strapless gown from his Pre-Fall 2013 collection. The raspberry floral gown has a lot going on, but the reason why he loves her is because she makes even the most complicated look work.

Chanel Iman: Following her look at the Michael Kors event, I’m really disappointed by this Emilio Pucci white gown on the model as I find it to be totally lifeless; it does nothing for her. The only thing I feel when looking at this outfit is uncomfortable.

Lily Aldridge: She was also at the Michael Kors event and, unlike Chanel Iman, she kept the good vibes going wearing a Louis Vuitton 60s-style black sequin dress with white detailing, opting for extremely pointy bow-front LV pumps and glossy tresses.
