Who Wore Dolce & Gabbana Better? Catherine Zeta Jones or Sarah Hyland

Back in October 2005, Catherine Zeta Jones hit the red carpet for the LA premiere of ‘The Legend of Zorro’ with co-star Antonio Banderas.

The Welsh beauty looked stunning wearing a Dolce & Gabbana champagne-coloured dress with a lace overlay and a contrasting black lace waistband with a red corsage.

Sarah Hyland would’ve been just 15 when CZJ wore this dress, so we can forgive her re-run of this classic dress at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards last week.

The 21-year-old actress opted to wear her strapless version of the dress without the red corsage, opting for complementary accessories and a wavy low-slung bun.

Catherine’s red corsage really bothers me upon seeing Sarah’s cleaner version, so Sarah wins for me.

Catherine Zeta Jones In Elie Saab Couture – 6th Annual ‘A Fine Romance’ Benefit

Catherine Zeta Jones was glowing on the red carpet for the 6th Annual ‘A Fine Romance Event’ in California this weekend.

The Welsh actress was breathtaking wearing an Elie Saab Spring 2010 Couture gown.

Her lilac cap-sleeve embroidered gown with a plunging neckline is simply divine, but it’s her beauty that truly shines through.

Catherine wore her hair off her shoulders with a braided accent.

Her makeup was equally is flawless.

Silver jewels and a gorgeous smile completed her look.

Catherine Zeta Jones In Elie Saab – 2011 Tony Awards

Best Dressed Award
Catherine Zeta Jones was a presenter at the 2011 Tony Awards which was held at the Beacon Theatre in New York City last night. Which will explain why didn’t hit the red carpet.

She looked breath-taking wearing an Elie Saab gown which was inspired by the Fall 2011 collection.

The red long sleeve embellished plunging gown had a sexy twist with an exposed back.

It’s so great to see Catherine looking supremely gorgeous.

I’ve always been a great admirer of her flawless style and regal like aura.

On this evidence she should wear Elie Saab more often.

A tight bun and Van Cleef & Arpels completed her look.

Catherine Zeta Jones In Michael Kors – Royal Investitures At Buckingham Palace

Catherine Zeta Jones and her family attended the Royal Investiture at Buckingham Palace earlier today in London.

She was there to receive a CBE from Prince Charles in honour of services to the film industry and to charity.

The Oscar winning Welsh actress opted to wear Michael Kors for her big occasion. This will not come as a surprise considering she was front row at the designers 30th anniversary New York Fashion Week show last week.

She wore a taupe double face jacket and shift dress with a glorious ‘Mother of the Bride’ hat and gold pumps.

I’m not crazy about the gold pumps, but a full on matchy matchy look would have lacked imagination.

She looks absolutely beautiful here.

Catherine Zeta-Jones In Monique Lhuillier – 2011 Golden Globe Awards

Most Regal Award
Green was one of the surprising trend colours on the red carpet at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards.

Catherine Zeta-Jones walked the red carpet with husband Michael Douglas wearing a dramatic Monique Lhuiller Pre-Fall 2011 gown.

Her look was complemented with some dazzling Van Cleef & Arpels jewels and Ferragamo heels.

The gown may look like freshly cut grass in this picture, but it worked beautifully on TV.

“Welcome To Wales” – Catherine Zeta Jones In Reem Acra

Welsh beauty Catherine Zeta-Jones brought Hollywood glamour to her homeland last night, when she walked the red carpet at the “Welcome to Wales” event which was held at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

Her rich red Reem Acra Pre-Fall 2010 cap sleeve silk gown is spectacular.

I haven’t seen Catherine look this drop-dead gorgeous in a long while.

Catherine lost a bit of weight whilst performing night after night on the Broadway show “A Little Night Music”, but she’s back her best.

I love that her figure-hugging gown shows off her beautiful figure to perfection.

She carried a gleaming Judith Leiber clutch and she wore Lorraine Schwartz chandelier earrings.

BDOTW??? For me 100%.

2010 Tony Awards – Catherine Zeta Jones In Atelier Versace

Back To Her Best Award
Catherine Zeta-Jones was a winner at the 2010 Tony Awards taking home the ‘Best performance by a leading actress in a musical for “A Little Night Music.”

She looked breath-taking on the red carpet wearing an Atelier Versace gown.

Her light blue strapless Atelier Versace gown had an amazing ruched bodice which was decorated with shimmering beads.

The chiffon floaty train is a soft contrast to the structured bodice.

I adore this look, but if I could remove one thing it would be the cuff.
