Kaley Cuoco In Sachin + Babi - 2014 People's Choice Awards

Kaley Cuoco, who previously hosted the People’s Choice Awards, attended this year as a nominee (and winner) in the Favourite Comedic TV Actress category.

For her walk down the red carpet at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California on Wednesday (January 8), ‘The Big Bang Theory’ starlet took a faintly bohemian turn in a Sachin + Babi Spring 2014 ensemble.

Her long, box-pleated skirt, in an intoxicating shade of cerulean, featured a peekaboo, lattice-stitched floral motif. Rather than follow the runway’s styling, she exchanged the white tunic top for a more tailored, tucked-in black tank.

She accessorized with just a few beaded and tied bracelets, styling her blonde locks into bedhead waves and sweeping on a smoky, kohl-rimed eye.

However, despite her intent to match those strappy blue Aperlai ‘Liberty’ sandals to her blue skirt, they still seemed somewhat at odds with the more casual, breezy spirit that dominated this look from the ankles up.

Olga Fonda In Giorgio Armani F2007– 2014 People’s Choice Awards

Olga Fonda struck a pose on the red carpet of the 40th annual People’s Choice Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

The ‘The Vampire Diaries’ actress wore a silver Giorgio Armani Fall 2007 dress with a stone-encrusted bodice and leather belt detailing.

This dress is simultaneously sophisticated and sexy, and I love it. The stone detailing and silver color are elegant, while the leather straps and plunging neckline are daring and fun.

Her strappy Jerome C. Rousseau ‘Popp’ shoes were the perfect compliment to the dress, and her jet-black eyeliner and simple chignon are perfection.

After this look, I’ll be keeping my eye out for more Olga on the red carpet.

You may remember that Ciara wore this same dress back in 2008.

Drew Barrymore In Vionnet - 2014 People's Choice Awards

Drew Barrymore made a sunny appearance at the 2014 People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday night (January 8) at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California, where the pregnant actress presented the Favourite Comedic Movie Actor prize to Adam Sandler.

She clothed her burgeoning baby bump in a Vionnet Spring 2014 dress with a white, T-shirt-style bodice and a skirt blanketed in light layers of lemon-yellow chiffon.

Irene Neuwirth jewels, including a pair of gemstone earrings, dressed up her more casual, breezy look, which she completed with a Kara Ross clutch and Roger Vivier shoes.

And, nothing like the added punch of a bold coral-red lip (Flower ‘Get To the Poinsettia’ kiss stick velvet lip colour) for good measure.

Queen Latifah In Angela Dean - 2014 People's Choice Awards

Queen Latifah attended the 2014 People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday (January 8) at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California.

The actress, who scored the Favourite New Talk Show Host trophy, took a simple sartorial approach to the evening.

Her black Angela Dean dropped-waist dress featured a loose silhouette with Grecian-inspired draping. Classic and sophisticated it was; memorable perhaps not.

A dramatic oxblood lip, along with emerald-tinged Sutra statement earrings and black Gucci peep-toe heels, did their part to vamp up the look, though.

Anna Faris In Naeem Khan - 2014 People’s Choice Awards

Anna Faris sparkled her way down the red carpet of the 40th annual People’s Choice Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The actress and presenter wore a beaded Naeem Khan Spring 2014 pantsuit that absolutely shined.

She paired the ensemble with Jimmy Choo ‘New Gael’ platform sandals and simple EF Collection jewelry.

I couldn’t like this look any more on Anna. The fact that she went for pants in the sea of dresses, and the monochrome and the shimmer–it’s just beautiful, classy and unique.

Her simple ponytail and subtle makeup were also perfectly suited with the simply yet elegant style of the suit.

Of course I do wish that she had hemmed the pants–after all she did have the top lined–but overall, a gorgeous look.

Are you as smitten as I am by Anna’s look?
