Cate Blanchett & Penelope Cruz In Armani Privé – Chopard Party

Cate Blanchett & Penelope Cruz In Armani Privé - Chopard Party

Chopard hosted a private party that took place during Cannes Film Festival on Thursday (May 15).

Cate Blanchett: Outdoing herself for the third time this week, the actress stunned wearing a Giorgio Armani Privé short-sleeved turquoise silk jacquard organza long dress with an intricate geometric design fully embroidered with Swarovski crystals. This is beyond amazing. I don’t think she’s looked this jaw-dropping since her BDOTY win of 2010.

Penelope Cruz: The Spanish beauty also wore Armani Privé, selecting a white silk-cady gown with a black bow on the waist. It’s a crying shame I can’t find a full-length picture.

Paz Vega: The actress cozied up to Penelope, opting for a sharply tailored look wearing a black tuxedo-inspired jumpsuit styled with a Zagliani ‘Faye’ silver python clutch.

Cate Blanchett was back on the red carpet this afternoon (May 16) for the ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2′ photocall during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France.

The Australian actress wore a Delpozo Fall 2014 look with pop-art tones and playful geometric shapes infused into her tri-colour A-line structured top with mod movement.

Crisp navy trousers with a high waistline were the perfect pairing for her crop top.

Red Roger Vivier open-toe heels completed her fresh mid-afternoon look.

Cate Blanchett In Valentino – Trophée Chopard

Cate Blanchett In Valentino - Trophée Chopard

Cate Blanchett attended the Trophée Chopard event held this evening (May 15) during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France.

A Cate Blanchett red carpet appearance is always special, but the excitement increases 10-fold during Cannes.

This was especially true when she graced the red carpet looking divine wearing a grey Valentino Pre-Fall 2014 sheer gown with silver metallic floral lace embroidery, feathered short sleeves and matching collar style with Chopard jewels.

I had bookmarked this for Keira Knightley, but Cate should’ve been at the forefront of my mind.

Understated opulence at its very finest.

Cate Blanchett In Ralph Lauren – The Royal Marsden Dinner

Cate Blanchett In Ralph Lauren - The Royal Marsden DinnerCate Blanchett was also among the stars on the dinner-party guest list at the Duke of Cambridge’s The Royal Marsden Dinner, hosted at Windsor Castle in England on Tuesday (May 13), where she joined Zhang Ziyi, Margot Robbie and Emma Watson.

As is custom, Cate was the epitome of elegance in a white Ralph Lauren Fall 2014 one-shoulder column gown.

The classic-contemporary design was only made sleeker with the half-cape detail that draped over her arm.

Of course, the look was impeccable styled with crystal chandelier earrings, a refined cream clutch, radiant makeup and a side-swept updo.

J’adore.

Which Was Your Favourite Cate Blanchett 2014 Awards Season Look?

Which Was Your Favourite Cate Blanchett 2014 Awards Season Look2

Cate Blanchett, like Lupita Nyong’o, was one to watch this awards season.

Looking back, there weren’t as many wow moments as I was hoping for.

I loved her two Armani Prive looks – though this is no surprise as the actress is always radiant in Armani – but my overall favourite was the Givenchy look at the AACTA Awards as it was such an unexpected look from Cate.

The letdowns were Prada at the nominees’ luncheon, the lack of drama from McQueen at the BAFTAs, and the shoe choices with her fabulous Antonio Berardi and Roksanda Ilincic looks.
