Cate Blanchett In Givenchy Couture – 2011 Oscars

Best Dressed Award
When Cate Blanchett stepped on the red carpet at the 2011 Oscars tonight the competition for Best Dressed ended.

This is why I love Cate Blanchett; she glided down the red carpet wearing Givenchy Spring 2011 Couture gown looking sensational.

No one has even come close to matching this type of perfection tonight.

Her pleated lilac chiffon gown is embroidered with pearls details. I love the yellow as a contrasting colour.

Cate’s super short boyish crop has grown out. I much prefer this length as it’s more feminine.

Van Cleef & Arpels jewels completed her look.

If I was an actress on this red carpet I would grab my coat and go home.

Cate Blanchett In Dries van Noten – IWC Launch Of The Portofino Watch Range

Cate Blanchett attended the IWC launch of the Portofino watch range at the SIHH International Fine Watch makers’ exhibition in Geneva, Switzerland yesterday.

The Australian actress opted for a Dries van Noten Spring 2011 ensemble which included a black jacket with satin lapels, a white shirt and white pants.

Whilst I’m always seduced by the allure of gowns, but I do love this masculine look on Cate.

She’s oozing class and sophistication from every pore.

There was no attempt to sex up her look. She wore the look with a confident regal air.

SK-II Event – Cate Blanchett In Louis Vuitton

The Internet at my hotel has been temperamental and super slow, so sorry for the lack of updates.

In order for you to forgive me, I knew I had bring you some Cate Blanchett red carpet magic.

The Australian actress was recently in Beijing, China to promote SK-II.

One of the many looks from during this promotional tour was a head-to-toe Louis Vuitton Fall 2010 look.

I can’t think of a single other person who could pull off this look.

What I love most is how nipped in Cate’s waist is without the belt.

Who Wore Lanvin Better? Cate Blanchett or Julia Roberts

Last week Cate Blanchett was promoting SK-II at Park Hyatt Beijing, China.

The Australian actress wore a bordeaux jersey draped Lanvin dress with black pumps and a stack of gold bracelets.

Julia Roberts wore the same dress in a petrol blue colour to the ‘Mange, Prie et Aime’ (Eat, Pray, Love) Paris Premiere on Sunday.

Lanvin snake-skin pumps and Iradj bracelets completed her look.

I love the dress on both women, but I’ll go for Cate as my winner because I love the colour and she allowed the dress to drape naturally whereas Julia added a belt.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Cate Blanchett In Christian Lacroix Couture

No one is surprised that Queen Cate Blanchett won Best Dressed this week wearing a vintage Christian Lacroix Couture gown from Decades Inc.

I think we are still all very much in awe of her regal beauty in this gown.

It’s not only the Best Dressed of the Week or Year. It has to be one of the Best Dresses I’ve ever seen in my life.

Due to the HUGE demand for this Couture gown, the actress has kindly made it possible for Decades to resell it, so if you are interested please contact Decades Inc.

Thanks for all your votes for the Lanvin for H&M competition. I’ve gone from 20th on Friday to 4th today.

Keep voting. Gotta get to number 1.

SK-II’s “Clear for Life” Event – Cate Blanchett In Christian Lacroix Haute Couture from Decades

I’m almost totally speechless.

This is why I love Cate Blanchett.

No one could’ve worn this archival Christian Lacroix Haute Couture gown from Decades with the same poise, grace and elegance.

This fit for a Queen deep burgundy gown is embellished with shimmering gold crystal sequins.

I’m totally in love and in awe of this look.

I think it’s safe to say nothing is going to top this for me this year.

Repeat after me. “We are not worthy.”

Cate Blanchett is currently in Beijing for SKII as they announced their new “Live Clear” campaign.
