Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Burberry Prorsum Fall 2014 Womenswear Show

The Burberry Prorsum Fall 2014 fashion show took place during London Fashion Week this afternoon (February 17).

As we’ve come to expect, the hottest ticket in town attracted a lot of celebrity faces, some of whom also attended the menswear show last month. Bradley Cooper didn’t take to the red carpet, but you can see him seated next to Anna Wintour below.

Paloma Faith: After working a summery BDOTY-worthy look for the menswear show, Paloma was in a more Fall-like mood. Wearing pieces from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection including a London landscape printed tee and green jacquard pencil skirt, she wore the same maroon hat she wore for her last red carpet appearance, but it worked much better on this occasion when styled with a matching coat.

Naomie Harris: While the coat-and-open-toe-sandals fashion police may not favour this look, I have to say I’m loving the chic combo of the velvet devore coat with the chartreuse velvet sandal. Did I say love? Yes, LOVE.

Monique Lhuillier Fall 2014 Front Row

The front row at Monique Lhuillier’s Fall 2014 show presented during New York Fashion Week on Thursday (February 8) was packed with stars who we are very likely to see wearing the runway looks in the very near future.

Emmy Rossum: Known to wear her fair share of Monique Lhuillier dresses, the ‘Shameless’ actress was front and centre wearing a white lace blouse, bandeau and pencil skirt from the designer’s Spring 2014 collection. The ladylike look was styled with a chic updo, with a red glossy lip and metallic-gold Rupert Sanderson ‘Elbaa’ pumps adding a punch to the look.

Anna Kendrick: The girl who loves a girlie-girl frock was glowing in the front row wearing a gold belted jacquard mini dress with a flared skirt from the Spring 2013 collection, which she styled with ankle-strap gold sandals from Monique Lhuillier’s Fall 2013 collection. Blown-out waves and neutral makeup rounded out this golden look.

The WGSN Global Fashion Awards

The WGSN Global Fashion Awards, which recognise achievement in fashion and retail design on an international scale, took place at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London yesterday evening.

Winners on the night included Erdem Moralioğlu (Womenswear Designer), Acne (Menswear Design Team), Nicholas Kirkwood (Accessories and Footwear Designer) and Topshop (Best Multi-Channel Retailer).

Laura Whitmore: The Irish TV presenter wore a feather-festooned Nicholas Oakwell Spring 2012 Couture white-collared frock accented with a silver belt and silver pumps, opting to mix metals with a gold clutch which looked like it weighed a ton. You may remember that Tali Lennox wore this same dress back in May 2012.

Ella Catliff: ‘La Petite Anglaise’ blogger, and my seat mate for the evening, Ella wore a Nanette Lepore ‘Spaceship’ dress with a stunning vibrant floral print with leather insets. Not afraid to mix prints, she added a leopard-print clutch to her look. Loved that matte-red lip.

Amber Le Bon: The model wowed in an Ermanno Scervino white embroidered gown with a floor-sweeping train which couldn’t have been a more fitting look for the elegant model. With her hair teased into a top knot to showcase those dazzling earrings, she styled the rest of her look with a white Stark clutch with gold hardware and a dark manicure.

Cat Deeley In Diane von Furstenberg - Children In Need Gala Lunch

Cat Deeley and hubby Patrick Kielty were back in London for the Children in Need gala lunch held at The Savoy Hotel on Sunday.

Patrick looked very dapper in a navy blue two-piece suit with a black tee and black brogues.

Cat looked as beautiful as always wearing a chic black silk blouse with a Diane von Furstenberg ‘Mae’ pencil skirt from the Fall 2013 collection which featured a leopard print front, contrast stretch jersey black back.

Conservative, charity-luncheon-appropriate accessories included black pointy pumps and a classic Chanel quilted bag.

Trademark bouncy, glossy blonde locks and a glossier nude lip colour completed her look.

Cat Deeley's Emmy's Eve Weekend Looks

Cat Deeley had a busy weekend attending three pre-Emmy parties in California.

Variety & Women In Film Pre-Emmy Event: On Friday, she kept it chic and sexy in black. The TV host wore a long-sleeve frock with an illusion cut-out back which she styled with Gio Diev black pumps, a black-and-gold Rauwolf clutch, blown-out tresses, and a hot red lip colour, amping up the sex appeal of this look.

Emmy Awards Performer Nominee Reception: Cat lightened things up at the next event (on the same day) selecting an Azzaro Resort 2014 nude cocktail dress with white sheer overlay accented with crystal detailing. She styled the look with Jimmy Choo accessories.

BAFTA Los Angeles TV Tea Party: On Saturday, she opted to keep the same Jimmy Choo accessories from her last event while wearing an elegant black-and-nude Safiyaa Fall 2013 dress with a lace accent bodice. This time her glossy blonde tresses were styled into a deliberately messy side-swept braid.

Cat Deeley In ASOS - The Hollywood Reporter’s Emmy Party

Cat Deeley was also at The Hollywood Reporter’s Emmy Nominees Night party, hosted at SoHo House in Los Angeles, California yesterday evening.

Like Julianne Hough, the TV host worked a high-low look with her ASOS graphic-print, backless dress paired with Jimmy Choo’s ‘Besso’ suede and patent leather sandals and an Edie Parker box clutch.

By matching her bubblegum-pink lippie to her magenta two-hue heels, she added a fun explosion of colour to the harder edge of her monochromatic frock.

A centre-parted, low ponytail kept the look sleek yet still lighthearted.

Audi & Altuzarra's Emmy Awards 2013 Kick-Off Party

Audi and Altuzarra hosted a Emmy Awards 2013 Kick-Off Party at Cecconi’s Restaurant in California last night, but not one wore Altuzarra – strangely.

Jessica Pare: The ‘Mad Man’ actress is always impeccably dressed, and this event was no exception. She wore a navy Bibhu Mohapatra beaded lace peplum dress from the Resort 2014 collection styled with Casadei ‘Blade’ pumps, a black Jimmy Choo clutch while sparkling in Stephen Webster jewels with a wavy ‘do completing her look.

Julie Bowen: The ‘Modern Family’ star was also sparkling in her Jenny Packham silver beaded scoop-neck dress styled with metallic Jimmy Choo ‘Lance’ sandals their ‘Tube’ clutch.

Kate Flannery: Opting for a dress in a dark hue, ‘The Office’ star wore a Tadashi Shoji Fall 2013 neoprene cap-sleeve dress with a metallic lace overlay styled with a pretty black ribbon bow belt.
