Carrie Underwood’s Wardrobe Changes At The 2010 CMA Awards

Last night Carrie Underwood co-hosted the 2010 CMA Awards for the third year.

She entertained the audience not only with her wit, but also with her 7 wardrobe changes.

The looks ranged from mini to colourful to the dramatic purple gown above which was designed by Randi Rahm.

She wore this purple asymmetrical satin gown with an eggplant embellished underskirt when she performed “Mama’s Song.”

This is quite a spectacular gown.

My absolute favourite look was her Georges Chakra Fall 2010 Couture dress which I’ve been dying for her to wear since I saw the dress on the runway back in July.

The ivory pleated tulle ballerina dress is even more adorable on her than I had imagined.

I love the bodice which is decorated with ruby rhinestone floral details.

Carrie Underwood In Talbot Runhof – 2010 CMA Awards

Carrie Underwood was the host of 2010 CMA Awards in Nashville, Tennessee last night.

I absolutely adored her extravagant Talbot Runhof Fall 2010 gown.

I think this gown won’t be that popular with many people because the tulle layered rosette detailed gown is very different from what we’ve seen Carrie wear in the past.

It’s very dark, mysterious and dramatic and Carrie usually does embellished, frothy and cute.

She accessorized her look with a Swarovski crystal clutch.

2010 CMT Music Awards – Carrie Underwood In Jenny Packham

Best Use Of Colour Award
Carrie Underwood brightened up the red carpet at the 2010 CMT Music Awards last night.

The former “American Idol” winner won Wednesday night’s top honor, video of the year for “Cowboy Casanova,” and CMT performance of the year for “Temporary Home”. Both awards are chosen by fans tuned into the live show.

The country singer is becoming less predictable on the red carpet, which I’m sure many of you will appreciate.

Her fuchsia pink Jenny Packham Fall 2010 dress is not what I would’ve expected from her, but it’s been a while since she did the embellished gown look on the red carpet.

This stand out keyhole dress has a black crystal beading detail on the waist and along the ruffled collar.

As much as I like the dress and the colour, the beaded the neckline is not my favourite part of this dress.

The star completed her look with a Jenny Packham clutch and Swarovski jewels.

American Idol 2010 Grand Finale – Carrie Underwood In Rafael Cennamo

One thing I love about Carrie Underwood is that she’s never forgotten where she came from.

Last night she attended the American Idol 2010 Grand Finale looking outstanding on the red carpet.

The country singer continues to shun gowns and opted for another short Rafael Cennamo Fall 2010 dress.

Her cute metallic one-shoulder mini with a bubble skirt was worn with Martin Katz jewels, Rene Caovilla sandals and a Tunney clutch.

I love the matchy matchy-ness of this look, but I’m glad she didn’t go too far by matching the clutch also.

What I love most about her dress is the clusters of glass fringes on her shoulder.

Another BDOTW contender for me.

Who Wore Talbot Runhof Better? Selena Gomez or Carrie Underwood

Selena Gomez wore this silver sparkling Talbot Runhof Spring 2010 mini dress to the 2009 American Music Awards in LA back in November.

The dress was worn with Rock & Republic’s ‘Romy’ strappy sandals and a silver clutch.

Carrie Underwood wore this same dress when she performed at the “Brooks & Dunn’s The Last Rodeo” in Las Vegas last month.

She also opted for black heels.

The biggest surprise here is that Taylor Swift hasn’t worn this dress yet.

Carrie wins for me as she appears a lot more confident in her dress, plus I love how much she’s glowing.

American Idol’s “Idol Gives Back” – Carrie Underwood In Rafael Cennamo

Carrie Underwood was one of the many performers on last night American Idol’s “Idol Gives Back” event at Pasadena Civic Auditorium in LA.

She looked gorgeous walking the red carpet wearing a black Rafael Cennamo Fall 2010 dress – it was a nice change from cute pastels.

The strapless gold dress with a black embroidered pattern plus a rise and fall hem is a stunning creation, but it looks so much better on the model.

I love the voluminous skirt which takes the dress to the model knee, plus the black band around the model’s waist also helps give the dress more shape.

As gorgeous as Carrie looks, she really dialed down the fabulousity of this dress.

She paired her dress with Jimmy Choo ‘Zena’ sandals and Carla Amorim jewels.
