Carrie Underwood In Claire Pettibone – Time 100 Gala 2014

Carrie Underwood In Claire Pettibone - Time 100 Gala 2014

Carrie Underwood attended the 2014 Time 100 Gala held at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center on Tuesday (April 29) in New York City alongside Amy Adams.

The country singer donned a look by Claire Pettibone, who is widely known for her bridal gowns.

This silver sequin gown with a black tulle overlay skirt embroidered with pink and red roses couldn’t be a more perfect look for Carrie.

Ultra feminine without being too saccharine, plus the artfully layered skirt forms a romantic silhouette without being too princess-like.

Even if you don’t like the gown, you have to admit it’s a Carrie dress through and through.

Tumbling side-swept tresses and a complementary silver clutch completed her look.

Carrie Underwood In Georges Chakra Couture - ACM Presents An All-Star Salute To The Troops

Carrie Underwood attended the ACM Presents: An All-Star Salute To The Troops held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Monday (April 7) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I wanted her to give me some frou-frou at the ACM Awards, so she obliged – albeit a day later – performing at this event wearing a heavenly Georges Chakra Fall 2013 Couture cap-sleeved silver-beaded white cocktail dress with a full skirt which fits her style to a tee.

She added sparkling Jimmy Choo shoes and silver jewels to complement her look.

Should she have saved this for the ACM Awards?

Carrie Underwood In Oscar de la Renta - ACM Awards 2014

Carrie Underwood shimmied her way down the red carpet for the 49th Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (April 6) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dressed in a white Oscar de la Renta gold-beaded fringe gown, I wanted to be wowed but this feels a bit tame by Carrie’s standards.

I don’t dislike the gown by any means – I just wanted more. More frou frou, as I missed a princess moment on this red carpet.

The look was styled with signature glossy waves, Jimmy Choo sandals, a white beaded clutch and David Yurman jewels.

Does this look wow you?

Carrie Underwood’s 8 Wardrobe Changes At The 2013 CMA Awards

Carrie Underwood CMACarrie Underwood stunned on the red carpet of last night’s 47th annual CMA Awards, hosted at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. But that was only the beginning of the co-host’s impressive fashion run, as she made a grand total of eight wardrobe changes during the show. Surprisingly, she also managed to stay out of pageant land for most of the evening, as well.

Carrie kicked off the night with a cotton-candy confection of a dress; a pink petal-laced number by Christian Siriano. She accented the plunge-front, high-low gown with Brumani jewels, matching pink Christian Siriano sandals and a bubblegum-lacquered lip. Even though the look was sweet, it didn’t cross over into overly saccharine territory, perhaps due to the edgier silhouette.

Next up, she cut things short in a Georges Chakra Spring 2013 Couture navy cutout frock, with pink and orange colour-block panels and a sequin waistband. Sherbet-hued sandals from Christian Siriano and David Yurman jewels, along with a half-up, half-down ‘do, added the finishing touches.

Her shiny metallic Talbot Runhof wrap column dress was perhaps her most glamorous. She accessorized the glittery gown with a giant Baccarat ring and Sutra earrings, along with Ryan Haber shoes. A low side ‘do contributed to the old Hollywood appeal.

Carrie showed off her legs in one of her more daring ensembles of the evening from Indian designer, Alpana Neeraj. She complemented the sporty-sultry, bronze sequined jumper dress, which featured an exaggerated step hemline, with Rupert Sanderson peep-toe heels and a Melinda Maria ring. Her long, blonde waves and pretty makeup eased some of the edginess, though.

Carrie Underwood In Ralph & Russo Couture – 2013 CMA Awards

Carrie Underwood In Ralph & Russo Couture - 2013 CMA Awards

I was stunned when I saw Carrie Underwood on the red carpet for the 47th annual CMA Awards held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee yesterday evening.

Firstly because the pageant hair has finally given way to a sleeker ‘do.

Also because she wore a breathtaking Ralph & Russo Couture dusky-pink long-sleeved sheer gown enriched with delicate rose-gold floral-and-crystal embellishments.

Having seen this beauty in the designer’s atelier, it’s a delight to see it not only brought to life, but worn so beautifully.

Carrie styled the look with Jimmy Choo metallic-rose-gold accessories including their ‘Fayme’ sandals and ‘Cloud’ clutch.

Yesterday it was announced that Ralph & Russo will present their first runway show during Couture fashion week in January. This was a great way to mark that announcement.

Carrie Underwood In Randi Rahm – T.J. Martell Foundation’s 2013 Honors Gala

Carrie Underwood In Randi Rahm - Martell Foundation’s 2013 Honors Gala

Carrie Underwood attended the T.J. Martell Foundation’s 2013 Honors Gala, which supports research into AIDS, cancer and leukaemia, held at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City yesterday evening.

The country singer was honoured with the ‘Artist Achievement’ Award, which she collected wearing a Randi Rahm periwinkle tone-on-tone beaded tulle dress with a V-back.

There is no question that this is very much a ‘Carrie’ dress, as it is uber girlie and has plenty of embellishments.

Soft-pink Giuseppe Zanotti pointy-toe pumps, a nude clutch with a cluster of silver star embellishments, and Johnathon Arndt jewels accessorized the look.

A sweeping updo, smoky eyes and glossy lips provided the finishing touches.

In terms of embellishments; the clutch was a step too far.
