Michael Kors Dinner 1

There were many more stars who joined Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for the Michael Kors dinner hosted by Vogue in London yesterday evening.

Samantha Barks: The British actress strikes a pose wearing a sexy black bodysuit with an open back with black leggings from Michael Kors’ Pre-Fall 2013 collection, which she accented with a black leather corset-like belt. The smouldering brunette beauty completed her look with a black ‘Gia’ clutch and ‘Barbara’ heels from the Fall 2013 collection.

Daisy Lowe: The beautiful British model channelled her inner screen siren, wearing a Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2013 black lace dress with a full skirt. It’s the styling which gives the look a classic retro feel.

Yasmin Le Bon: The supermodel was just one of the attendees wearing stripes from Michael Kors Spring 2013 collection. Her midnight-blue-and-green striped shell-and-sequin pleat skirt, which was styled with green strappy sandals, was recently worn by Hilary Rhoda at the New York dinner party.

Caroline Sieber In Christopher Kane F13 - ‘David Bowie Is’ Exhibition Private Viewing

Never one to miss a fashionable night out, Caroline Sieber attended the private viewing of ‘David Bowie Is’ at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, England yesterday evening.

The stylist and general It-girl-about-town wore a Christopher Kane Fall 2013 dress: our first look at this collection off the runway. The designer’s BFF always manages to get first dibbs.

Her sheer, short-sleeved mini dress, festooned with black-and-blue ostrich feathers, was lined – unlike the version which took to the runway – as you would expect.

The styling, which included black Mary Janes and a grey quilted Chanel clutch, was wisely kept simple for the dress to be the main focus of this look.

Caroline Sieber, who is never one to miss a well-dressed soirée, attended the 58th London Evening Standard Theatre Awards, which took place in London on Sunday evening.

Dressed in a leopard-print look by her favourite designer, Christopher Kane, her purple-and-blue Fall 2012 frock with tubular leather trims was styled with a black clutch and her favourite ankle-tie Louis Vuitton pumps.

For a stylist, she appears to have a very limited shoe collection. I guess she’s not a shoe gal.

I hope you all keep up with my tweets and Instagram pictures from the MAC & Carine Roitfeld ‘Le Bal’ celebrations which took place yesterday at the Hotel Salomon de Rothschild during Paris Fashion Week.

One of the first to arrive was the lovely Karlie Kloss, my hero, who looked gorgeous wearing an Alexander Wang Spring 2013 fresh-off-the-runway look.

She got the ‘smoky eye’ memo, as did Poppy Delevingne, who smouldered on the red carpet wearing an Emilio Pucci black long-sleeve dress with a gold dragon from the recent Spring 2013 collection.

Carine Roitfeld arrived wearing signature all black Givenchy avec smoky eyes, the inspiration for the whole evening.

There once was a time when wearing the same thing twice was a major fashion faux pas.

But thanks to Anna Wintour who is likely to wear a Prada or Oscar de la Renta dress twice or thrice in quick secession, much like Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, those rules no longer apply.

Despite that, I was surprised to see stylist Caroline Sieber wearing the same Chanel dress within two weeks.

Sporting a black-and-white rose and feather-accented fascinator, she attended Royal Ascot in England wearing her Chanel dress with Louis Vuitton toe-cap pumps and a grey Chanel bag.

She gave the dress a second run out this week when she attended the Chanel Fall 2012 Couture show during Paris Fashion Week.

Keeping the sunshine off her fair skin, she opted for a sun hat on this occasion.

A nude clutch and matching suede ankle-strap peep-toes accessorized her look.

With the jewelled detail around the neckline of her dress, I’m surprised she opted to wear a necklace with this dress.

I much prefer the first look. The sun hat and nude heels don’t work at all for me. I’m quite disappointed by the second look to be honest.

Most of the attendees for the Christian Dior Fall 2012 presentation of course wore Dior – even high-street loving Olivia Palermo.

The one person, aside from Donatella Versace and Anna Wintour, who didn’t wear Dior was Caroline Sieber.

She opted to wear a Christopher Kane pink sheer, print and pleated pelmet dress from the Resort 2013 collection, which she styled with black strappy sandals.

You will be delighted to know that you can pre-order this gorgeous dress from ModaOperandi right now.

The trunkshow for Christopher Kane, which started today, ends on July 10 so you have just 5 days to select your favourite pieces.

You have a wide selection ranging from floral-print tracksuits and black cracked leather jackets to ladylike lace, pleated and floral dresses to choose from.

The fashion-savvy Caroline picked the best piece, but my second favourite look is the printed princess dress.

Will a real princess select this look? She does favour British designers after all.
