Cara Delevingne In Burberry Prorsum - Harvey Weinstein's Pre-BAFTA Dinner

Catwalk Queen and budding actress Cara Delevingne celebrated the great and good of the movie world yesterday evening (February 14) at Harvey Weinstein’s pre-BAFTA dinner at Little House Mayfair, London.

Opting for a sharply cut maroon Burberry suit compromising of a black satin-trimmed tuxedo jacket with plunging neckline and sleek cigarette pants, Cara oozed modern sophistication.

Having worn a similar look at Burberry’s Art of the Trench launch last year, it’s easy to see why the one button-suit has become an evening uniform for the model.

Perfect for complementing her androgynous style with just a hint of sexiness and lashings of understated edginess, this is a great red carpet look for Cara, but we have seen better from her.

The minimal accessorising did little to help Cara’s somewhat lack-luster hair, and the trousers are frustratingly a touch too long. Would a smokey eye and some layered gold jewellery notch this strong look up a gear? Certainly, but it is still a good trun from Cara.

You may remember that Suki Waterhouse wore this same suit to the Burberry Prorsum Fall 2014 menswear show last month.

Cara Delevingne In Burberry - Art of the Trench Asia

Burberry celebrated its first Art of the Trench in Asia yesterday evening, which was held at the recently opened Burberry K11 store in Shanghai, China.

The event was hosted by British model Cara Delevingne, who wore a sleek white Burberry shawl-collar one-button suit which she opted to wear without a top, decorating her décolletage with gold necklaces.

Her green eyes were enhanced with a mocha eye colour, plus a rich plum shade was applied to her lips using Burberry Beauty products.

The only thing I would have changed about the look are those stacked-platform shoes, which feel a bit cumbersome in comparison to the rest of her look.

Cara Delevingne In Whistles - W Magazine Shoot

Cara Delevinge was captured goofing around, as she does, while on a shot for W magazine in London yesterday.

The British model posed with a group of male models wearing a sporty Whistle look including a silk varsity blue-and-white jacket with matching joggers paired with a black-and-white bandeau.

When I think of Whistles, I think of pretty pastel frocks worn by the likes of Pippa Middleton, so this has shaken up my opinion of the brand.

Glamour Women Of The Year Awards 2013

Here is a roundup of the rest of the looks from the Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013, held at Berkeley Square Gardens in London on Tuesday evening.

Laura Whitmore: The Irish TV presenter wore a Carven collage-newsprint dress from the designer’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection. The A-line dress has plenty of personality and I’m glad to see she has just as much fun with the styling, adding a Sophia Webster ‘Speech’ Bubble clutch and bauble-accented heels by the same designer.

Myleene Klass: The singer/TV presenter glowed wearing a Rachel Gilbert hot-pink strapless frock styled with Stephen Webster jewels. She took home the Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Joanne Froggatt: Taking home the Best TV Actress award, Joanne opted for a fall-like hue when so many others were wearing summery frocks. Her maroon Alberta Ferretti dress was styled with metallic-silver Jimmy Choo pumps and a Christian Louboutin spiked clutch.

Cara Delevingne In Burberry - ‘The Great Gatsby’ Premiere & Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Cara Delevingne was one of the many models to take to the red carpet this evening for ‘The Great Gatsby’ Cannes Film Festival premiere, which also served as the opening ceremony.

You won’t be surprised to learn the British model wore Burberry.

Her black silk and lace plunging gown was styled with Chopard jewels, red hot lips and served with plenty of attitude.

While this gown is nice enough, there are at least ten looks I prefer on this red carpet.
