Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Camilla Belle makes her first appearance on the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival for the “Il Gattopardo” premiere this evening.

I’m not a fan of her aging hairstyle, but I do love her Gucci Première one shoulder gown.

The midnight blue gown has a stunning embroidered wrap around detail.

I’ve been trying to figure out why exactly Camilla is at Cannes.

I don’t believe she has anything to promote, so my guess is that she’s at the festival as an ambassador for Gucci as they have a close working relationship.

Does anyone know for sure why she’s there?

Great dress, but shame about the hair and that horrible bracelet.

Camilla Belle was one of many stars to attend the 3rd Annunal Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival.

She walked the red carpet for the opening night premiere of the movie “Adrift”.

We’re used to seeing Camilla wear gowns, but on this occasion she opted for a very different look wearing a Miu Miu Fall 2010 dress.

I love the dress, from the cute hemline to the embroidered details.

I expected someone like Chloe Sevigny to wear it.

Unfortunately I’m not wowed by it on Camilla.

For me to have really liked this look she would’ve had to either wear this dress without the collar, or pull her tightly back.

Plus she would’ve had to have worn different shoes.

Camilla Belle looked stunning as she walked the red carpet at the Costume Institute Gala last night.

She arrived with Jason Wu who custom-made her draped red chiffon gown with nude Chantilly Lace accents, which are not a wardrobe malfunction.

I love how she’s giving us Old Hollywood.

She looked regal in every picture.

Cartier jewels and a Christian Louboutin red satin clutch completed this stunning look.

Definitely in my top 10 of the night.

Like you, I couldn’t pick a clear winner between Camilla Belle in YSL and Hilary Duff in Vera Wang, so they are both crowned Best Dressed this week.

Both were wow moments.

Camilla continues to gives us nothing short of 100% when she hits the red carpet and she repeated that again wearing Jason Wu.

I think this is the first time we all sat up and noticed Hilary Duff on the red carpet.

We often see red carpet players like Camilla Belle and those who make up the numbers.

For once Hilary was up front and center.

Both are worthy winners.

I’m going to try my best not to gush, but it’s so hard when it comes to Camilla Belle because she’s red carpet perfection personified.

The 10,000 BC actress looked stunning – as usual – wearing a black and white print Jason Wu Spring 2010 dress.

Apart from the print, I love the flutter sleeves on this dress.

Camilla always picks ultra feminine looks, which is why this Jason Wu dress was so perfect for her and why I love her so.

As much as I love the dress, I’m drooling over her pink and grey Miu Miu heels.

A white Tod’s clutch with a diamond buckle completed her look.

Camilla Belle was one of the many beautiful stars to walk the red carpet at the Metropolitan Opera Gala Permiere of ‘Armida’ in New York.

I always find it surprising that some of you don’t like Camilla on the red carpet.

Yes she seems to never take any risks on the red carpet, and often wears red carpet ready brands, but you can’t deny that she always gets it right.

Case in point.

She looked breath-taking on at the Opera last night wearing a beige strapless YSL dress from the Edition Soir 2010 collection.

I love the tiered ruffles fluttering down her skirt, the embroidered bodice and that black velvet bow.

Her make-up is perfect, as is her hair plus her skin is glowing.

She accessorizes with complementary jewels, black strappy sandals and a YSL ivory gold trimmed clutch.

To the doubters please tell me what’s not to love, because I’m head over heels.

BDOTW contender for me.
