Who Wore YSL Better? Camilla Belle or Chloe Moretz

Back in 2010, Camilla Belle glided down the red carpet at the Metropolitan Opera premiere of ‘Armida’ wearing this cream YSL Edition Sior layered gown with a black velvet bow and black-and-white detailing around the bust.

The ‘Push’ actress looked regal and sexy accessorizing her dress with black strappy sandals, a gold clutch, onyx drop earrings and a side-parted updo.

This week, ‘Hugo’ star Chloe Moretz wore the same strapless gown in navy to the Opera Gala premiere of ‘Manon’.

She opted for a black choker, black satin YSL Tribtoo pumps, a black clutch and a sleek ponytail.

Camilla’s cream gown allows you to see all the detail clearly, but her accessories are far superior, so she wins for me.

Camilla Belle In Carolina Herrera – 2012 Art Of Elysium Heaven Gala

Camilla Belle was beyond stunning on the red carpet at the 2012 Art of Elysium Heaven Gala on Saturday in LA.

She wore a gown by one of her favourite designers, Carolina Herrera.

Her Spring 2012 canary-yellow gown with a vertical strip detailing on the front and back plus silk organza layers was teamed with Van Cleef & Arpels jewels.

A simple ponytail, pink lips, a Ferragamo clutch and Ralph Lauren sandals completed her look.

Camilla was one of the nicest celebs at this event alongside Rachel Bilson.

Special Recognition Award – Camilla Belle

‘Prada to Nada’ hit theatres in January, so for the last 11 months Camilla Belle had nothing but her great style to promote.

I have given her special recognition award as she attended many high profile events wearing high end designers on the back of one project this year.

Her finest moment was in Ralph Lauren, but she also stunned in Gucci and Tom Ford.

Camilla Belle In Oscar de la Renta – Andrea Bocelli Foundation’s 2011 Benefit Gala

Camilla Belle attended the Andrea Bocelli Foundation’s 2011 Benefit Gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA this weekend.

The actress opted for a lady-like chic look by wearing an Oscar de la Renta Spring 2012 dress.

Her black sleeveless dress, sequinned with white tassel details and a black leather belt, was teamed with Gucci ankle strap pumps and a black clutch.

Whilst Camilla allows the dress to do all the talking with anonymous accessories, she does brighten things up with bright red lips and matching nail polish.

A quiffed hairstyle and gold hooped earrings completed this simple yet gorgeous look.

Camilla Belle In Monique Lhuillier – Chopard South Coast Plaza Boutique Re-Opening

Camilla Belle was on hand to help Chopard celebrate the reopening of their South Coast Plaza Boutique in LA yesterday afternoon.

She opted to wear a Monique Lhuillier Spring 2012 dress with Chopard jewels.

Her bubblegum-pink bustier dress with a panel of shimmering sequins feels a tad dressy for a daytime event.

I had pictured either Keri Hilson or Fergie wearing a shortened version of this dress on the red carpet at the Grammys.

The sassy sex appeal of this dress is somewhat lost on Camilla.

For me she doesn’t quite have the je ne sais quoi to pull it off.

Camilla Belle In Gucci – LACMA’s Art and Film Gala

Camilla Belle joined a host of celebrities who attended the LACMA’s Art and Film Gala in LA yesterday evening.

I’m not at all surprised that she’s one of the first to don one of the flapper-esqe looks from the Gucci Spring 2012 collection.

Her gold, white and black drop-waist dress with art deco lines, and a fringed skirt was teamed with gold strappy Gucci sandals and a small black clutch.

This is a great look for Camilla. I’m really starting to appreciate her on the red carpet again.

She mixed up her retro look by opting for on-trend victory rolls.
