Britney Spears In Uel Camilo – Pre-GRAMMY Gala

Britney Spears joined Rita Ora on the red carpet for the Pre-GRAMMY Gala on Saturday (February 11) in LA.

The singer wore a custom Uel Camilo dress which made two words spring to mind – Groundhog day.

Britney has been wearing the different versions of the same dress for a while now.

But that’s not the biggest issue. The issue is, since this was custom, why didn’t they take her twins into consideration?

They’ve been totally flatten here.

Britney Spears In Labourjoisie – 2015 MTV Video Music Awards #VMAs

Britney Spears In Labourjoisie - 2015 MTV Video Music Awards #VMAs

Britney Spears was back on the red carpet for the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday (August 30) in Los Angeles, California.

The singer wore a dress by Kuwaiti fashion house Labourjoisie, who also created Nicki Minaj’s gown.

For a custom creation, I’m surprised that the designer didn’t account for Britney’s breast when designing this gold and silver sheer mini dress.

Britney often looks uncomfortable on the red carpet, but this time it’s probably due to the fact that she could hardly breath.

This could’ve been a great look for Britney, but once again she is foiled by the design.

Strappy sandals and a rainbow ponytail completed her look.

Britney Spears In Mikael D. – 2015 Teen Choice Awards

Britney Spears In Mikael D - 2015 Teen Choice Awards

Britney Spears attended the 2015 Teen Choice Awards at the USC Galen Center on Sunday (August 16) in Los Angeles, California, where she ironically picked up the Choice Style Icon Award.

I mean, really?

This is a woman who has been squeezed into bod-con dresses a size too small for years.

While her stylist stepped may have stepped outside his/her comfort-zone to select a silver embroidered lace deep v-neck high low dress from the Mikael D’s Pre-Fall 2015 collection, the look is once again so very Las Vegas showgirl plus the tan lines are so garish.

Jennifer Meyer earrings and silver sandals completed the look.

Britney Spears In Davidson Zanine – 2015 ESPYS

Britney Spears In Davidson Zanine - 2015 ESPYS

Britney Spears attended the 2015 ESPYS at Microsoft Theater on Wednesday (July 15) in Los Angeles, California.

The singer wore a Davidson Zanine bedazzled dress which had Vegas showgirl written all over it.

As per Britney looks so uncomfortable in the dress, perhaps because she knows this dress is so wrong for her. Tacky and unflattering are the first words to spring to mind.

I would only accept this as a performance piece.

Britney Spears In Yousef Al-Jasmi – 2015 Billboard Music Awards

Britney Spears In Yousef Al-Jasmi - 2015 Billboard Music Awards

Britney Spears was also among the entertainers at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, hosted at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday (May 17).

Before performing ‘Pretty Girls’ with Iggy Azalea, Britney was on the red carpet in a nude Yousef Al-Jasmi beaded gown that resembled something akin to chain mail.

While I have no doubt the goal was for this figure-skimming dress to be streamlined and sleek, it fell short as a result of the awkward half-lined, semi-sheer effect.

Her blonde Barbie mane and bubblegum-pink lip can only be described as dated when applied to this look, which she completed with Neil Lane jewels.

Britney Spears In Michael Costello – ‘The Intimate Britney Spears’ Germany Launch

Britney Spears In Michael Costello - 'The Intimate Britney Spears' Germany Launch

Britney Spears continued to promote ‘The Intimate Britney Spears’ by making a guest appearance at the Centro shopping mall in Oberhausen, Germany on Thursday (September 25).

Sporting a shorter bobbed ‘do, the singer looked the best she’s possibly ever looked in recent times, opting for a suit over the expected fitted dress.

Custom designed by Michael Costello, this chic loose-fit shawl-collar-lapel suit was given an ultra-feminine flourish when paired with a lace-panel silk Maje cami.

White Aldo sandals and Jennifer Fisher jewels completed this much improved, refreshing look.

Britney Spears In Tadashi Shoji – ‘The Intimate Britney Spears’ Poland Fashion Show

Britney Spears In Tadashi Shoji - 'The Intimate Britney Spears' Poland Fashion Show

Britney Spears promoted her new lingerie collection ‘The Intimate Britney Spears’ with a fashion show held at the Zlote Tarasy shopping mall on Wednesday (September 24) in Warsaw, Poland.

The singer, and now lingerie designer, wore a Tadashi Shoji Fall 2014 jacquard dress with mesh cap sleeves in a rich auburn hue.

This form-fitting sheath look is probably the best Britney has looked in a while. It hugs her in all the right places, giving her a beautiful silhouette, and for once she actually looks (somewhat) comfortable and confident.

Black Oscar Tiye ‘Amira’ shoes accessorized her look along with gold jewels. A simple high ponytail and a watermelon lip colour rounded out her look.

Do you see this as much improved, or same old same old?

Britney Spears In Mikael D – 2014 People’s Choice Awards

Britney Spears In Mikael D - 2014 People’s Choice Awards

Britney Spears skipped the red carpet arrivals of the 40th annual People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday night, but picked up the Favorite Pop Artist award and posed with her trophy after leaving the stage.

The pop star and current Vegas-stage resident wore a nude-lined Mikael D Pre-Fall 2013 dress with silver rose applique detailing and long-sleeves.

And with such a busy dress, the singer made a great decision in keeping the accessories completely minimal–Giuseppe Zanotti nude pumps and just a few simple rings and dainty earrings.

While I’m not usually a fan of the whole nude-illusion look, I actually really like this dress for Britney. It stays true to her style while also being a bit more mature, which is appropriate at this point.

Do I wish her hair wasn’t quite so bleached? Of course. But this is Britney we’re talking about, and you can only expect so much when it comes to the style department.
