Brit Marling In Mulberry – BAFTA LA 2014 Awards Season Tea Party

Brit Marling In Mulberry - BAFTA LA 2014 Awards Season Tea Party

Brit Marling joined Alice Eve, Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett at the BAFTA 2014 Awards Season Tea Party at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverley Hills yesterday (January 11).

Like Alice Eve, the actress wore head-to-toe Mulberry, including a Spring 2014 ‘Bonnie’ dress, classic pumps and the Mulberry ‘Kensal’ shoulder bag worn as a clutch.

Monochromatic looks are a huge trend this spring, and Brit is doing it impeccably–even matching her lips and cheeks to the same rosy hue of her dress.

I am completely taken with this look. The messy hair, and the effortlessness of the whole thing are just perfect and show a real sense of fashion.

Front Row @ Mulberry Spring 2014

Mulberry-clad, front-row mavens all gathered on Sunday to see the label’s Spring 2014 collection at Claridges Hotel during London Fashion Week in England.

Alexa Chung: The DJ donned a conservative Mulberry dropped-waist, white button-down dress, accessorized with a black sweater of her shoulders, along with ‘Lizzie’ black wedges and an olive ‘Alexa’ bag, all from the Spring 2014 collection.

Brit Marling: A sporty-chic Brit posed in a black biker jacket, dotty blouse and the ‘Lizzie’ pencil skirt, matched with the same ‘Lizzie’ black shoes worn by Alexa, which all hailed from Spring 2014. The polished white ‘Suffolk’ handbag, also from Spring 2014, as well as long blonde waves, finished the look with an air of sophistication.

Lea Seydoux: The French actress was also decked in the Spring 2014 collection, with her black ‘Betsey’ coat, the ‘School’ ballet-pink printed shirt and ‘Lizzie’ ballet-pink skirt, paired with pumps and the oversized ‘Clemmie’ clutch in a matching blush-nude shade. Nearly nude makeup and a simple centre-parted bob completed the look.

Brit Marling In Balenciaga – ‘The East’ LA Premiere

Brit Marling In Balenciaga - 'The East' LA Premiere

Brit Marling attended the LA premiere for ‘The East’ held at the ArcLight Hollywood in California yesterday evening.

I must admit, I had my reservations about the Balenciaga Fall 2013 collection on the red carpet due to my love of colour; however, each look so far has been a hit, and I include Brit’s ensemble.

She wore an elegant white satin blouse with black tapered pants, which she styled with a short-sleeved tailcoat accented with a silver bow accent.

Much like the other master of minimalism, Carey Mulligan, Brit opted to keep her look simple, adding just black peep-toes and livening things up with a red lip colour and super-glossy waves.

Brit Marling In L’Wren Scott – ‘The East’ Brooklyn Screening

Brit Marling In L'Wren Scott - 'The East' Brooklyn Screening

Brit Marling zigged and zagged on the red carpet of ‘The East’ screening at The Nitehawk Cinema in Brooklyn, New York.

The actress got graphic in a L’Wren Scott Spring 2013 headmistress dress. Strictly tailored in grey-and-white stripes, the look boldly broke the rules with a kapow flash of jagged black paneling.

Studded Valentino pumps matched the rebel spirit of the dress, not that I didn’t also appreciate the zing of the runway’s dual-tone shoes that mimicked the sharp yin-and-yang pattern of the dress.

An effortless, piece-y updo and light rose lip offset the hard edges.

Brit Marling In Prabal Gurung – ‘The East’ New York Premiere

Brit Marling In Prabal Gurung - 'The East' New York Premiere

Brit Marling attended the New York premiere of her latest movie ‘The East’ held at Sunshine Landmark in New York City on Monday evening.

The blonde actress oozed ‘It’ girl coolness, wearing a Prabal Gurung Fall 2013 dress.

Her white silk-crepe draped-waist long-sleeved dress featured an asymmetrical satin hem and cut-out shoulder accented with gold studs.

The look is simple, yet there are many elements to it as described above.

She manages to pull it off; the effortless styling is the key. However, I would’ve preferred a different pair of shoes to the Valentino studded pumps she went for.
