Blake Lively In Gucci – Angel Ball 2014

Blake Lively In Gucci - Angel Ball 2014

Blake Lively attended the Angel Ball 2014 hosted by Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation at Cipriani Wall Street on Monday (October 20) in New York City, which gave us another look at her maternity style.

The actress went from fully covered at the God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards Gala, to this figure-hugging pale-yellow gown with a plunging neckline enhanced with silver tubular embroidery from Gucci’s Resort 2015 collection.

While I’m pretty certain there will be plenty of disapproval with regards to the plunge, I’m less enthused about the colour.

Something tells me this would’ve worked better in a darker shade – perhaps a deep forest-green, rich bordeaux or black.

The look was styled with a half-up half-down hairstyle and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Blake Lively attended the 2014 God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards hosted by Michael Kors at Spring Studios on Thursday (October 16) in New York City.

This was the actress’s first public appearance since announcing her pregnancy last month on her website, Preserve, opting for a glam floor-length gown from the Michael Kors Resort 2015 collection.

While this oleander and lilac embroidered stretch-tulle gown is the most covered up we’ve seen Blake, she still oozes high-end glamour while showcasing a softer elegant look.

Decked out in jewels from Lorraine Schwartz and with glossy lips and tousled tresses rounding out her look, I’m delighted to see her master maternity red carpet dressing on her first night out.

L’Oreal Paris Collection Exclusive Pure Reds Campaign

L'Oreal Paris Collection Exclusive Pure Reds campaign

Blake Lively, Zoe Saldana, Jane Fonda, Laetitia Casta, Julianne Moore, Liya Kebede, Freida Pinto, Eva Longoria, Natasha Poly and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan star in the latest L’Oreal Paris Collection Exclusive Pure Reds campaign, which was shot by Norman Jean Roy.

Each of the ambassadors are dressed in white (Zoe and Liya in Elie Saab Spring 2014) with a bold red lip, but the twist is they are not all wearing the same shade.

The red lip shades were inspired by their skin tones and even their hair colour to create the perfect match.

L’Oreal is hoping to diminish the fear of choosing such a bold lip colour with the new collection.

L’Oreal make-up artist Lynsey Alexander said, “The correct red should leave you feeling empowered, confident, and sexy all at once whilst ultimately being something you choose to wear and not something that wears you. There is most definitely a perfect red for everyone and if you apply one tone and feel conscious and aware of it then it’s not the one for you.”

All of our favourite L’Oreal girls appear in the ad, with the exception of new girl Kirsten Dunst, Cheryl Cole and Sonam Kapoor.

A few of the shades are below. I’m having a strong pull towards Laetitia’s deep rouge.

Blake Lively In Rag & Bone – Out In New York City

Blake Lively In Rag & Bone - Out In New York City

Blake Lively was spotted out and about running errands in New York City on Wednesday (June 4).

Working a low-key black and white look, the actress donned a Rag & Bone Spring 2014 jumpsuit with a white striped top.

This city-slick jumpsuit and urban dungarees hybrid with a box silhouette cut in mannish proportions features buttery leather straps for an edgy twist.

Blake styled her daytime-chic look with a black Givenchy ‘Pandora’ bag and black and white brogues to amp up the mannish vibe.

Overalls are having a stylish renaissance, as other celebs such as Emma Watson, Gwen Stefani and Hilary Duff have also been spotted wearing this versatile piece.

Will you be jumping on this overall trend?
