Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Blake Lively has had an amazing week, so amazing that she dominated the BDOTW poll.

She made a long awaited return to the red carpet in LA for the ‘Savages’ premiere wearing Zuhair Murad Couture, before going on to wow in a red hot Michael Kors suit for ‘Good Morning America’.

Then she stunned in a blush Jenny Packham frock, with Marchesa, Marios Schwab and Lanvin in between before capping off her week in a stunning lemon Gucci gown and turquoise Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Despite a lot of good looks coming from the actress who prides herself on not using the services of a stylist, the Zuhair Murad gown was the clear favourite.

Her ode to Veronica Lake couldn’t be a more perfect comeback. Even those of you who are non-believers of Blake’s style found yourselves giving her props this week.

Yes, here we have another Blake Lively post.

In between a guest appearance on the ‘Charlie Rose’ show and strutting her stuff on the red carpet for the New York premiere for ‘Savages’ yesterday evening, Blake continued to promote her new movie at ABC Studios in New York City.

Despite many new pieces being readily available to her from the recent Resort 2013 collections, the star had the honour of Alber Elbaz creating a custom Lanvin look for her.

The bright pink cloqué silk dress with a bow at the waist does have a sickly sweet, cutesy feel to it, but she offsets that with edgy Christian Louboutin spiked heels.

I don’t hate this look, but it’s my least favourite so far.

Prior to the ‘Savages’ New York premiere yesterday evening, Blake Lively was spotted heading to ‘The ‘Charlie Rose’ show to fulfil her promotional duties.

We only got a glimpse of her Marios Schwab Fall 2012 as she headed to the studio.

I wish she’d stopped and not worn that black blazer so we could’ve gotten a better look at her halter dress with a leather laser-cut floral bodice with a chiffon double-layer skirt.

She styled her look with an adorable pair of Giuseppe Zanotti bejeweled two-tone bow-accented sandals and a gold clutch.

Apologies if this turns out to be ‘Blake Lively Day’, she was very busy yesterday.

Blake Lively was luminous on the red carpet at the SVA Theater for the New York premiere of her new movie ‘Savages’ yesterday evening.

The stunning actress looked breathtaking wearing a Gucci gown, her first since she was announced as the face of the Gucci Première women’s fragrance.

Her one-of-a-kind buttercup-yellow halterneck goddess gown, with a plunging neckline and nipped-in waist, was accessorized with stunning turquoise Lorraine Schwartz drop earrings and Lorraine Schwartz stack of bracelets.

A sweeping fishtail braid and glossy pink lips completed her look.

Once again this is a fabulous look for Blake, she’s on an amazing roll, but if I had to pick one look for BDOTW, it would have to be her Zuhair Murad gown.

Which look do you prefer? Or do all three looks (including the Michael Kors suit) deserve a place?

Blake Lively looked stunning once again as she made her way to the ABC studios for her guest appearance on ‘Good Morning America’.

Those of you who were not fans of her Zuhair Murad premiere gown must be swooning along with me at how great she looks wearing this Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2012 suit.

For someone who doesn’t have a stylist and who usually goes for the obvious, like a micro mini dress or a cleavage baring frock, this is an excellent choice for a morning TV show.

I love that bold crimson red which she paired with a black tank top.

After a brief flirtation with Nicholas Kirkwood she was back to wearing Christian Loubotuin heels.

As much as I love Blake going all out sexy, this is one of my favourite ever looks from her.

Sexy, chic, modern and grown up.

I sense a shift, stylewise, she appears more polish. Do you agree?

Blake Lively continued to promote her new movie ‘Savages’ by stopping by the Ed Sullivan Theatre for a guest appearance on ‘Late Show with David Letterman’.

As with most guests on Letterman, they arrive in one look and appear on the show in another.

Blake wore two very pretty, almost identical dresses.

She arrived in a stunning Jenny Packham Fall 2012 dress.

The blush silk-chiffon dress with a crystal-encrusted neckline, keyhole detail and a floaty wrap skirt is divine.

I love how her Christian Louboutin heels complement the crystal details on her dress.

Keeping her hair in the same half-up, half-down beehive do, and wearing the same shoes, Blake reappeared with a much more conservative Marchesa dress.

I knew it wouldn’t be long before we saw Blake in a Marchesa frock.

The gorgeous ivory cape dress with an embellished detail on the shoulder was styled with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Both looks are beautiful, but which was your favourite?

I have to go with the Jenny Packham. Sweet and trademark Blake sexy at the same time.
