2010 Toronto Film Festival “The Town” Premiere – Blake Lively In Chanel Couture & Preen

Right, whilst I have a rare hour between shows and I’ve finished reporting on the 2010 Venice Film Festival, I’m going to catch up on the other Festival which started this weekend – the 2010 Toronto Film Festival (TIFF).

First up my girl Blake Lively.

The “Gossip Girl” actress is at TIFF to promote her new movie, “The Town”.

She certainly painted the town red at the premiere looking sensational wearing a Chanel Fall 2010 Couture dress.

I personally wished she’d worn the dress as it was presented on the runway.

I’m not a fan of diluting Couture, but she made this dress work for her sexy image.

The dress has bunch of roses applied around the waist to give her even sexier hourglass figure.

Red lippie and red pumps completed the look.

Update: Just found a picture of Blake with the jacket on and I think she looks much better with it.

What do you think?

Better with or without the jacket?

At the photocall earlier in the day, Blake wore a Preen Spring 2010 ensemble which included a taupe blouse and black obi pants.

She added a selection of beaded necklaces and Louboutin animal print heels to her look.

For someone who doesn’t have a stylist I think she looks great.

Chanel Soho Boutique Re-Opening – Blake Lively In Chanel Couture

Karl Lagerfeld threw a party in New York City last night to celebrate the re-opening of the Chanel Soho boutique.

Many stars donned their finest Chanel garbs for the event.

First up my girl Blake Lively.

Judging by this picture its clear Blake didn’t want anyone making comments on her famous assets.

Normally you are crying out for her to cover up both her legs and her boobs.

She heard you loud and clear.

I love that she’s showing us a different side to her in this striped sequined Chanel Fall 2010 Couture dress.

It’s totally unexpected. I would’ve thought she’d pick a Resort 2011 piece, as that collection appears made for the Californian actress.

My only problem with this look is the shoes…again.

Her ankle strap Louboutin’s are so clunky for this Couture dress.

With high necklines I usually prefer a pony, but Blake sports ponytails so often on the red carpet that I’m relieved she didn’t on this occasion.

Fashion’s Night Out: The Show – Blake Lively In Marchesa

Blake Lively also attended “Fashion’s Night Out: The Show” at the Lincoln Center in New York City last night.

She also opted for something short and sassy.

Her Marchesa Resort 2011 yellow and sapphire fully beaded tribal strapless mini dress was worn without the matching beaded crop pants.

The curse of the black pump strikes again, which is strange considering that her dress is yellow and blue not yellow and black.

However the cuff coordinates well with her dress.

I know many of you will take issue with her beachy California simple ponytail, but I’m just grateful she wore her hair off her face for this look.

I’m so glad to see her having fun in this stunning dress on the red carpet.

On The Gossip Girl Set With Blake Lively In Maxime Simoens & Hoss Intropia

Blake Lively also returned to the set of “Gossip Girl” yesterday wearing a very daring look.

She was spotted wearing a cleavage-baring back-to-front Maxime Simoens tuxedo jacket which is very Celine Dion at the 1999 Oscars.

Blake wore this Catwoman-esqe look while filming scenes on location outside the Standard Hotel in New York City.

The tuxedo has a deep v-back like its not revealing enough.

“Desperate Housewives” and “Mad Men” actor Sam Page was on set with Blake, so with his good looks it’s easy to assume that he will play her love interest in Season 4.

Later in the day as Blake was leaving the set she was spotted wearing a more casual outfit.

She wore a Hoss Intropia sleeveless silk dress with a floral print adding simple Lanvin ballerina flats and a Chanel bag to complete her look.

Spanish label Hoss Intropia will be coming soon to
