“You Know You Want It” Publication Celebration

I’m split when it comes to Leighton Meester wearing this Louis Vuitton Spring 2010 ensemble.

I love the fact that she tried to make the look her own, but I also loved how this look was presented on the runway.

Her grey top and matching Balenciaga heels give this look a more grown up feel, whereas runway look has a cute girlie feel to it.

Of course I wouldn’t expect Leighton to wear this look with the stockings and clogs.

Yet I remain torn.

What are your feelings on this look?

When it comes to Blake Lively many of your comments contain the question “boobs or legs?”

On this occasion she put both away, but I’m sure many of you will notice that her bra is peeking out of her shirt.

Her look also consisted of a black Nonoo Lyons Fall 2009 tailcoat, what appear to be black shorts and Stella McCartney thigh-high perforated boots from the Fall 2009 collection.

Both girls sported different looks, but I think I prefer Blake’s as I feel like she put this look together herself.

Even when she wears an edgier designer Michelle Trachtenberg doesn’t falter from her prim lady-like look wearing a navy Rag & Bone Spring 2010 dress, with a silk bow tied around her waist.

Tights, black patent pumps, a Chanel clutch complete her look.

Just once I’d like to see her try an edgier look.

Jessica Szohr showed off her sexy Alice + Olivia LBD with mesh back to full effect.

A gold Hunting Season python clutch and black patent Alejandro Ingelmo heels complete the look.

Who Wore Burberry Prorsum Better? Keira Knightley or Blake Lively

Keira Knightley loves her Burberry shearling coat so much that she has worn it several times over the past few weeks when leaving the Comedy Theatre in London were she stars in “The Misanthrope”.

Her look appears to be part of a uniform consisting of a Burberry Prorsum coat, jeans and Jimmy Choo Yule biker boots.

Only the top changes.

Blake Lively was recently seen wearing this same coat whilst out shopping with a few friends in New York City’s meatpacking district.

She also opted for the jeans tucked into her boots look.

Burberry wasn’t the only British brand that made up her ensemble, because she carried a black Mulberry Bayswater bag.

The star tried to go incognito wearing a hat and sunglasses, but she needed to do more because she’s instantly recognisable with wild blonde hair and infectious smile.

Had it not been for the hat and sunglasses I may have gone with Blake, but I prefer the lighter denim with this coat – it won’t rub off onto the coat – so Keira wins for me.

Who Wore Chanel Better? Blake Lively Or Vivian Hsu

This post was by special request for Dora.

Blake Lively first wore this Chanel Resort 2010 dress at the beginning of November to the “Chanel Fine Jewelry Benefit” in New York.

I’m just not loving this dress on her, which is mostly down to the length I think.

Gorgeous shoes and jewels though.

When Vivian Hsu wore this dress a few weeks later to the Golden Horse Awards in Taiwan it was a different story entirely.

I don’t usually drool over black dresses on the red carpet but this has blown me away.

Vivian looks so effortlessly elegant and her swept back hair and soft make-up is amazing.

I also think she was spot on with her choice of accessories as this dress is calling out for a bit of bling.

For me though, the best bit is the beautiful shape that that dress has created, which Blake lost when she decided to wear hers shorter.

Hands down, this is Vivian’s winning look.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Blake Lively In Dolce & Gabbana And Kelly Reilly In Alberta Ferretti

Despite comments like “Boobs or legs. Pick one Blake”. The Gossip Girl actress still won the Best Dressed poll this week.

Like you we were floored by Blake who upstaged Rachel McAdams at her “Sherlock Holmes” New York premiere.

Blake’s hair, make-up and my oh my that barely there Dolce & Gabbana dress was just spectacular.

I agree with majority who said “if I had a body like hers, I’d probably want to show it off too.”

I fell in love with British actress Kelly Reilly this week.

She was stunning wearing a peach silk chiffon Alberta Ferretti embroidered gown.

Even the rain couldn’t dampen her spirit. She still looked amazing wearing my favourite gown from Alberta Ferretti’s Spring 2010 collection.

“Sherlock Holmes” New York Premiere

Sorry Rachel McAdams, but Blake Lively upstaged you on your big night.

Rachel should be first on this post, but I just can’t get passed how A-Friggin-Mazing Blake looks wearing a Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2010 mini lace dress, with gold Christian Louboutin glitter pigalle heels.

Most actresses tend to water down runway looks or line them if they are a bit see-through.

Not Blake Lively.

She opted out of the lined runway version to follow the recent trend started by Madonna, Lady GaGa and Carine Roitfeld by showing off her panties.

She may be showing off too much for some of you, but she looks amazing to me.

Rachel McAdams wore a black jumpsuit with a Jasmine di Milo black bustier consisting of chainmail roses from the designers Fall 2009 collection, with Catherine Malandrino Spring 2010 high waisted wide leg pants.

This is a very chic and sophisticated look yet I feel like something is missing.

Ashley Greene has fallen in love with those Sergio Rossi heels we’ve seen worn by Kristen Stewart, Claire Danes and Malin Akerman.

The nude heel works perfectly with the VBH envelope clutch she used to accessorize her white column Andy & Debb dress.

I love her antique style earrings and that divine pink lip colour.

A white lace dress with thick black tights?

Eva Mendes you KNOW you are better than this.

Who Wore Victoria Beckham Collection Better? Blake Lively or Victoria Beckham

From your comments last week, I could tell that this was going to be a tough decision for all of us.

Blake Lively wore this Victoria Beckham peplum dress to the 2009 Angel Ball with Calypso heels back in October.

She looked stunning as she gave us her best ‘head slightly hilted to one side’ pose we’ve all come to recognise as her trademark.

Victoria was spotted leaving her hotel in Paris last week wearing the same dress.

She was without her trademark sunglasses, but of course she doesn’t step out without one of her many pairs of Trib Two heels.

Both women are rockin’ the hell out of this dress, and I’ve agonised over this for about 20 minutes now.

As much as I want to vote for Blake, Victoria totally owns this look – as she should.
