Blake Lively In Marchesa – 2017 Time 100 Gala

Blake Lively attended the 2017 Time 100 Gala on Tuesday (April 25) in New York City with her husband Ryan Reynolds as the couple gear up for Cannes Film Festival next month.

I don’t need to remind you that I’m a huge fan of Blake’s style, but unfortunately I couldn’t get on board with the look from Marchesa Fall 2017 dress.

Firstly it pales into comparison with her Brandon Maxwell sleek offering from the weekend, but secondly, and most importantly, there is just too much going on.

Shave off those multi-colour fringes. Get rid of the cape and perhaps I would’ve looked at this more favourably.

Blake Lively In Brandon Maxwell – Variety’s Power of Women: New York

Blake Lively was an honoree at Variety’s Power of Women: New York event on Friday (April 21) in New York City.

In what can only be described as a power look, she wore a Brandon Maxwell Fall 2017 design that encapsulated everything I love about a jumpsuit in that it combined the classic elegance of a feminine, sweetheart neckline with tailored modernity.

Of course, the rich emerald hue was stunning, especially with Blake’s long, blonde waves and delicate, geometric earrings.

Blake Lively In Roland Mouret – Women Of Worth Gala

L’Oréal Paris’ Women of Worth program honoured 10 extraordinary women who selflessly volunteer their time to serve their communities, at a gala ceremony on Wednesday (March 8) in Toronto, Canada.

Blake Lively was on hand to help honour these women by speaking at the event in her ambassadorial role for the brand wearing a Roland Mouret ‘Kiverton’ Pre-Fall 2017 dress.

Deconstructed and sculptural; this dress carefully considers both design and dexterity, pulling apart the classic pencil silhouette and incorporating an almost jigsaw-like bodice – which gives a waist narrowing effect – and cut-out panels for a contemporary flourish.

My girl never lets me down in the shoe department, opting for a kick-ass pair of Christian Louboutin ‘Kaleikita’ studded leather lace-up sandals, when others would’ve settled for a classic court shoe.

I having a serious case of fresh-face envy. Are you?

Blake Lively In Michael Kors – Out In New York City

Putting her best street-style foot forward, Blake Lively was spotted out in New York City on Wednesday (February 15).

Shielding herself from the chill in the air, the actress bundled up in double coats including a Michael Kors Resort 2017 balmacaan and a Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2017 houndstooth wool jacquard coat.

Underneath, she wore a black pullover cropped sweater and studded trumpet skirt, also from the Pre-Fall 2017 collection.

Who knew black and white could be so vibrant?

This motley mix of patterns and textures here was playfully dynamic and I love the feminine flip of the flared skirt peeking from underneath. White Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ round out the look.

Front Row at Michael Kors Fall 2017

The front row at the Michael Kors Fall 2017 runway show on Wednesday (February 15) in New York City was well-outfitted with Michael’s fashionable fan club.

Emily Ratajkowski: We know Emily can do sexy, but I loved this Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2017 midriff top and retro-glam, fit-and-flare skirt for its more demure, seductive appeal. It was like a breath of fresh air on her.

Blake Lively: Speaking of fresh, the actress’s Michael Kors Spring 2017 multi-coloured frock was just that, as it was positively abloom in dimensional mini flowers. While the embellishment was at a peak, it never became too overbearing in part due to the styling which included a thin white belt, Lorraine Schwartz jewels and poppy-red Christian Louboutin heels. It was a radiant look for Blake.

Deepika Padukone: Also wearing a Michael Kors Spring 2017 ensemble, Deepika took a more tailored approach in her sleeveless trench dress, which didn’t take itself too seriously given the blocky shoes. Normally, I don’t love platforms of this magnitude, but here they delivered a quirkiness that was just what the outfit ordered.
