Beyonce Knowles In Kenzo – Mrs Carter World Tour

Beyonce Knowles In Kenzo

To ensure she is looking nothing but perfect in every frame, Beyonce Knowles has banned unapproved photographers from her Mrs Carter world tour.

We’ve seen a few pictures of her wearing Ralph & Russo on this tour, along with Emilio Pucci and Dsquared; here we see her wearing a very familiar turquoise-clouded leopard print from Kenzo’s Spring 2013 collection, which has also been donned by Jessica Alba and Brandy Norwood.

This look was captured from last night’s show in Paris, where she wore a custom bustier and shorts designed by Humberto Leon and Carol Lim with Stuart Weitzman booties and nude fishnet tights.

Beyonce Knowles Kicks Off Her ‘Mrs. Carter’ World Tour In Ralph & Russo

Beyonce Mrs Carter Tour

Beyonce Knowles kicked off her 42-city ‘Mrs. Carter Show World Tour’ in Belgrade, Serbia last night, wearing a white crystal- and pearl-embellished bodysuit with a peplum skirt and fringed epaulettes, designed by Ralph & Russo.

They are not the only ones who will be dressing Beyoncé during this epic tour.

Peter Dundas, Creative Director at Emilio Pucci, has created four looks for Beyoncé, for which he drew inspiration from his Fall 2013 collection. The costumes will resonate with the singer’s modern take on glamour and complement the theatrical storytelling of the ‘Mrs. Carter Show’.

Dean and Dan Caten from DSquared2 will also be dressing Beyoncé for her tour, creating exclusive pieces inspired by their ‘Glamazons’ Spring 2013 collection.

As for the shoes, Beyonce’s stylist and mother, Tina Knowles, worked with Stuart Weitzman to create footwear to complement her costumes, ranging from stiletto pumps with Swarovski crystal detailing, to lace military-influenced ankle- and knee-high boots.

Beyonce’s world tour runs until August 5, when she will close at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn – aptly.

Beyonce Knowles In Diane von Furstenberg – La Guarida

Beyonce Knowles in DVF Cuba

After a day of sightseeing in Havana, Cuba, Mr & Mrs Carter were spotted headed out to a romantic dinner at La Guarida with three bodyguards.

With her box braids still styled into a lavish updo, Beyonce Knowles wore yet another colourful printed look, which has me wondering if she raided Solange’s closet before this trip.

On this occasion, she wore a Diane von Furstenberg Pre-Fall 2012 ‘Margaux’ dress.

The brown-white-and-mustard tweed mini dress was styled with nude pumps with a gold cap.

I think I love Beyonce’s vacation style better than her street style. Do you agree?

Beyonce Knowles In Thakoon Addition – Havana, Cuba

Beyonce Knowles In Thakoon Addition R13 - Havana, Cuba

To celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary, Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z headed to Havana, Cuba to have a quiet celebration, but as one of the world’s hottest couples, they of course drew a lot of attention.

While attempting to do some sight-seeing, Beyonce wore a Thakoon Addition Resort 2013 ensemble.

No wonder they drew a large crowd: you couldn’t miss Bey in this zebra-print cape-back blouse and matching skirt, which she styled with Giraffe Walk lace-up oxfords.

Giving her hair a break, she opted for box braids, the perfect no-fuss hairstyle which is easy to maintain while on vacation.

Ruby lips, oversized earrings, and chic shades completed her look.

As for Jay-Z, the hip-hop mogul looked very cool wearing an aqua Billionaire Boys Club ‘The Jet’ polo shirt with checked shorts, styled with Persol 714 sunglasses and Nike Air Force 180 sneakers.

Beyonce Knowles For Vogue UK May 2013

Vogue UK Beyonce Knowles May 2013

Beyonce Knowles covers the May 2013 issue of British Vogue following her March 2013 American Vogue cover.

Baring her midriff, the singer makes her long-overdue Vogue UK cover debut wearing a Jonathan Saunders striped crop top with a sequined pencil skirt. You may remember that she also donned a crop top for the February 2013 issue of GQ Magazine.

The in-demand cover star will soon embark on her Mrs Carter World Tour, and if you are anything like me you are bummed that you spent 2 hours of your life on two separate days trying and failing to secure tickets to what is most likely going to be an epic event.

In the mag, which hits newsstands on Monday, April 8, the singer talks about equal rights, marriage, motherhood, her music journey, her husband, and her demanding job, plus she defends using Mrs Carter for her world tour name.

Here are some extracts from her interview.

On believing in equal rights for all: “But I guess I am a modern-day feminist. I do believe in equality. Why do you have to choose what type of woman you are? Why do you have to label yourself anything? I’m just a woman and I love being a woman. I do believe in equality and that we have a way to go and it’s something that’s pushed aside and something that we have been conditioned to accept.”

On her demanding job: “I’m always bruised somewhere – my legs, my hips. But you’ve already started so you’ve just gotta fight through it.”

On defending using Mrs. Carter for her world tour name: “I feel like Mrs Carter is who I am, but more bold and more fearless than I’ve ever been. It comes from knowing my purpose and really meeting myself once I saw my child. I was like, ‘OK, this is what you were born to do’. The purpose of my body became completely different.”

Beyonce Knowles for H&M’s Summer 2013 Campaign

Beyonce for H&M Summer 2013

Beyoncé Knowles has been unveiled as the star of H&M’s Summer 2013 campaign.

The entertainer, who kicks off her sold-out Mrs. Carter Show World Tour on April 15, will appear in television and print ads which were shot in Nassau in the Bahamas by photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, while the commercial was directed by Jonas Åkerlund, featuring pieces from the H&M summer collection.

The print and outdoor billboards introduce “Beyoncé as Mrs. Carter in H&M”, with the idea that all women can be all things: strong, vulnerable, sensual, maternal, fun, flirtatious.

The swimwear and beachwear pieces which feature in the collection will be available in H&M stores and online worldwide in May.

Beyoncé said, “I’ve always liked H&M’s focus on fun and affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements – fire, water, earth and wind. It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial.”

“H&M’s summer campaign starring Beyoncé is an epic fantasy, with glamour, drama and also a sense of paradise. It was amazing to watch her on the shoot make it all look effortless – a quality that makes her such an icon for women around the world. The campaign is the essence of Beyoncé, and also the essence of H&M this summer”, says Donald Schneider, H&M’s Creative Director.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé Knowles attended the 2013 NBA All-Star game at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas on Sunday evening.

Beyoncé wore a Stella McCartney floral-print look which has also been popular with Michelle Dockery, Sally Field and Diane Kruger.

Her blazer-and-shorts set from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection was styled with a white tank top and contrasting yellow pointy pumps, which added a fun element to her cute look.

Natural wavy tresses and barely-there makeup provided the finishing touches.
