Many of us have been applauding her transformation into an edgy and current artist, but it seems that she has been taking her style tips from her peers, mostly Kylie Minogue.

On a recent music video shoot Beyonce wore a eye-popping sequined dress which Jennifer Lopez had worn 10 years previously on a photoshoot.

She seems to love Kylie because not only did she copy her cyborg glove for her Sasha Fierce persona, which Kylie wore during her KylieX2008 tour, but she also copied her robot suit which Beyonce entered the stage wearing when she performed at the 2007 BET Awards. Kylie had entered the stage the same way six years ago prior when she was on tour.

In Beyonce’s recent promotional pictures she wears a bright motorcycle bustier that was worn in the 1992 for George Michael’s Too Funky video, and was more recently seen on model Alice Dellal.

Looks like the credit she has been getting should be going to others, mostly Kylie.

The singer/actress wore a black velvet Dolce & Gabbana dress with a black satin yoke and puff sleeves. Her jeweled ribboned belt was from the Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2009 collection.

Her dress appears to be a watered down version of the runway dress. I wish she had been bold enough to wear the runway dress, Sasha would have pulled it off.

She completed her look with jewel-encrusted Brian Atwood heels.

I must admit I am having a new found love for Beyonce, as she is attempting to erase my bad memories of her wearing those garnish Tina Knowles originals, and tries to update her wardrobe with more cutting edge designers.

I was bummed she did not walk the red carpet at the American Music Awards last night, but as always she put in a back breaking performance on the stage performing “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)”.

Mrs Carter wore an Armani Privé Spring 2008 black and white satin jacket with origami rosettes. She opted out of wearing her usual leggings, instead she wore a pair of black pants and nude fishnet leggings.

The glove has finally gone, but is has been replace by the cyborg finger. The whole thing is wearing a little thin, and I hope she give it up so, because what was cute at first is starting to become stale.

Here are some extracts from her interview:

On her preparations for her 110-date tour starting next year: “When I’m onstage I’m aggressive and strong and not afraid of my sexuality. The tone of my voice gets different, and I’m fearless. I’m just a different person.”

On her alter ego, ‘Sasha Fierce’: “It’s a way for me to differentiate what I do onstage from who I really am - It’s a way for me to not lose myself, to keep my life in perspective, because it’s really hard sometimes to stay on earth when you’re a celebrity.”

On the her hectic life: “There’s so much going on, and so many people give you whatever you want and say everything you do is great. At this point, I kind of have it down. I know boundaries, and I can look at somebody and say I don’t want them in my circle. I’ve been doing this for twelve years professionally, and I’ve learned. it’s easier now. Fame is a lot of work, but it doesn’t consume my life. I’m not obsessed.”

On the moment just before she performs at her concerts: “It’s funny because right before the show I’m under the stage making sure my double-stick is in the right place, my pack is turned on, and my shoes have the stickies on the bottom so I don’t slip - all of these things that are so not glamorous. Then I take my last slip of water, clear my throat, close my eyes, and tell myself: “You are fierce. You are fierce. You are fierce!” And the second I take that first step and hear the crowd, I kind of transform. By the time I get up to the stage, I’m in the zone. It’s like I’m ready for war.”
