Beyonce Knowles In Randi Rahm – Michelle Obama’s 50th Birthday Party

Beyonce Knowles In Randi Rahm - Michelle Obama’s 50th Birthday Party

Beyonce Knowles attended Michelle Obama’s 50th birthday party on Saturday (January 18) held at The White House in Washington, D.C.

I am guessing there was some kind of performance aspect to her attendance, because she wore a show-stopping Randi Rahm ultra-mini beaded and fringed Tina-Turner-esque dress; it’s something I can imagine her wearing while entertaining.

The sexy look was styled with nude pointy pumps, a hot-pink lip colour, and a selection of Lorraine Schwartz jewels including a stack of gold bracelets.

Too risqué for the White House, even if it was a performance look?

Entertainer of the Year 2013 – Beyonce Knowles

Entertainer of the Year 2013 - Beyonce Knowles

Beyonce Knowles has taken the fashion world and the music universe by storm with her style, singing a trendsetting tune at every turn.

Not only did she just recently break boundaries, daringly debuting her fifth album as a surprise release, the songstress was making waves early in the year as the star of the Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show in her Rubin Singer exaggerated moto jacket and a warrior-like black leather bodysuit accented with lace. She also was featured in H&M’s Summer 2013 campaign.

And who could forget her bold move to chop her tresses into a pixie cut—or that she promptly put extensions back in. Better to flip her hair with while performing, after all.

Of course, she has undeniably dominated her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour stage with a range of glam-bam, custom creations that only Sasha Fierce—or Mrs. Carter—could pull off with panache.

Her chameleon-like costume changes have favoured Balmain boldness and Gucci glitz, along with David Koma, Dsquared2 and Ralph & Russo bodysuits. She also strutted out a set dramatic looks by Emilio Pucci, with a colourfully embellished jumpsuit, a sparkling crop top and mini, and a beaded, fringe frock each taking top billing.

Of course, when she’s not performing, Bey works the high street style with the best of them. Topshop tops her list of off-stage labels—but, naturally, so too does Gucci, Tom Ford and Stella McCartney, among others.

Beyonce Knowles In Tom Ford – ‘Beyonce’ Album Release Party

Beyonce Knowles In Tom Ford - 'Beyonce' Album Release Party2 copy

Beyonce Knowles attended the release party and screening for her new self-titled album ‘Beyonce’ held at the School of Visual Arts Theatre on Saturday evening (December 21) in New York City.

Working a super-hot and sexy look in a way that only Beyonce can, she wore a Tom Ford Spring 2014 high-neck, long-sleeved sheer black dress with broken-glass-effect appliqués.

She styled the dress with the same open-toe thigh-high boots we saw on the runway, opting for smouldering smoky eyes, long blonde tresses cascading down her back and a glossy nude lip.

I have a feeling this might have a strong sexy/trashy divide, so place me firmly in the sexy corner.

I would go as far as to say this is one of her best looks this year. This is the perfect way to say “I’m back”, even though she technically never went away.

Beyonce Knowles In Balmain – Mrs Carter Show World Tour

tumblr_mxtgjr0yts1rqgjz2o1_1280Beyonce Knowles continued her string of performances, as part of her Mrs Carter Show World Tour, on Saturday (December 14) at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Having previously shown us glitzy garb from the likes of Pucci, David Koma and Dsquared², the songstress showed off a slightly sportier style in a custom Balmain number, which she wore whilst performing her new track, ‘XO.’

That said, the glamazon theme was still alive and well. The black-and-white romper was inspired by Balmain’s Spring 2013 collection, where graphic harlequin checks and ’90s-inspired power silhouettes permeated the runway.

She embellished the ensemble with an AllSaints ‘Valtari’ statement necklace, nude fishnets and black thigh-high boots, with long, wavy locks topping off this moment of her superstar stage time.

Beyonce Knowles In Dsquared² – Mrs Carter Show World Tour

Beyonce Knowles In Dsquared² - Mrs Carter Show World Tour

On Tuesday, it was announced that Beyonce Knowles is extending her ‘Mrs Carter Show’ World Tour with a string of European dates in 2014.

The tour, which has already taken Beyonce once around the world, will revisit the Phones 4u Arena in Manchester on Tuesday 25 February 2014, after which she will play four dates at the O2 Arena in London. The five-week run will also include performances in Portugal, Spain, Ireland, Holland, Belgium and Germany.

Tickets for UK dates go on general sale Monday 16 December at 10am, but I’m not holding out much hope of getting the golden ticket since the Beyonce.com has website crashed; unable to cope with the amount of people trying to access it to get ticket information.

The extension of her tour dates, has seen and extension of her tour wardrobe.

Having already seen more Pucci and David Koma, Beyonce shone on stage in a costume created by Dsquared² for her concert yesterday evening (December 12) in Louisville, Kentucky.

The singer wore high waisted white shorts and a trim tailored jacket skimming her hips. Both were embroidered with swirling clusters of gold-hued Swarovski crystals, sequins and metallic pearls, emphasizing her perfect curves.

Beyonce Knowles In David Koma – Mrs Carter Show World Tour

Beyonce Knowles In David Koma - Mrs Carter Show World TourBeyonce Knowles recently debuted another knockout look on her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.

Taking an eye-catching spot among her chameleonic costume changes is the songstress’s second custom number by David Koma. While the embellished body suit may be white, it’s not so innocent with its sexy aura enhanced by sheer panels and a peplum detail.

Complementing the leggy design were white, knee-high gladiator sandals and hair-flip-worthy blonde waves.

She previously donned a black-and-gold David Koma creation at the V Festival this past summer.
