Beyonce Knowles wore another Elie Saab Fall 2009 daywear dress, when she was interviewed by David Letterman on Wednesday.

So that’s 3 outfits, for one show. She first arrived in a teal dress, followed by her dove grey Elie Saab dress she performed in, now this gorgeous cobalt blue dress, with cap sleeves, and an interesting plunge-neck bodice.

The singer/actress added some gold accessories, which included a multitude of gold bangles, gold earrings, and a golden pair of Ruthie Davis Odyssey platform heels.

You can take a close up look at her heels via Ruthie Davis’ blog.

Beyonce Knowles has to be one of Elie Saab’s most loyal celebrity client. She has worn his blinged out gowns to many high profile events.

For the first time ever, Elie Saab produced an elegant daywear line with his signature glamour, and modern silhouette, for his Fall 2009 collection.

Drew Barrymore was the first celebrity to wear a piece from the daywear line for the Grey Gardens panel discussion last week.

Beyonce became the second, as she gracefully showed off those famous curves, wearing a dove grey (yes it looks white in these pictures) Elie Saab Fall 2009 dress, with a draped detail over one shoulder.

She wore the dress when she arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theater for a taping of the Late Show With David Letterman. She was there to promote her new thriller Obsessed.

I adore the dress on her, it’s so elegant and refined. Her look is complete with her trademark large earrings, and white Toni Maticevski peep-toes, with black heel and platform, plus multiple multi-coloured mini rosette details on the back.

She arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theater wearing in a plunging blue dress, teamed with Ruthie Davis gold ‘Odyssey’ heels, and a gorgeous champagne coloured Jillian Lewis Fall 2009 tailcoat, with an elegant ruffled lining. If this name sound familiar to you, it’s because she was one of the finalist on season 4 of Project Runway.

I need this coat in my life. If you need it too, you can purchase if from Searle for $1,498.

Mrs Carter continues to impress.

Many regular readers know me so well, but I think I know a lot of you regular commenter’s too.

I will guess some of you: David, T, Leo, Robbie and Whitestroke, will hate this, but Zoe aka drinksupfashion, and maybe Freida Fan will love it.

There is always a great fashion debate when I comes to Beyonce, and I’m sure her wearing this Balmain Crystal-embellished canvas jacket from the Spring 2009 collection, will prove no different.

I personally love it, she wears it well, and most importantly she doesn’t try to over dress it like Rihanna would.

Rihanna would have worn the studded heels, and ripped jeans with this look, just to force down our throats how ‘fashionable’ and ‘edgy’ she is.

Beyonce wore this jacket when she enjoyed a romantic evening with her husband in New York last night, whilst carrying a Vera Wang bag.

The black cotton blazer has jeweled Seargeant Pepper detailing, a metal and crystal detailing on the collar, shoulders, cuffs and on the front.

What I love are the classic military asymmetrical front closures with heavy jeweled detailing, and of course the sculpted shoulders.

Somethings got me wishing Michael Jackson would have worn this jacket first. It has his name written all over it.

You can buy this extravagant jacket from Net-A-Porter’s US site for $11,410.

The world was in shock when Beyonce Knowles wore a not one, but two Gareth Pugh pieces to the MTV Europe Music Awards last November.

We were in shock that Beyonce would be aware of such an edgy designer, let alone wear his clothes because lets face it, at that point we were only used to seeing B in gorgeous flowing Lebanese designs or her mother’s vomit inducing pieces.

We weren’t so shocked when heiress Daphne Guinness wore Gareth Pugh to the Valentino: The Last Emperor New York premiere, because his Avant-garde pieces are very much what she wears day to day.

Despite that, I prefer the dress on Beyonce. Daphne’s black Azzedine Alaia belt, and the long-sleeve top, was overkill imo.

Today in Canada, Beyonce Knowles will kick off her long awaited tour.

I have been particularly waiting to see her tour wardrobe, since it was announced that Parisian couturier Thierry Mugler, would be taking over the designing from Tina Knowles.

Mugler vision was the capture the duality between being a woman and a warrior.

Mulger said, “Sasha Fierce is another aspect of Beyonce’s personality. She is Fierce on stage and Beyonce in real life. I tried to understand these two sides with my own perception of both aspects.”

I think this looks outstanding, and I can picture B shakin’ her tail feather in this wonderful creation.

I like a big bag, as I like to carry anything, and everything for every eventuality. So it was very easy for me to fall in love with Beyonce Knowles’ Diane von Furstenberg Stephanie Large Slouchy Hobo Bag.

The singer was spotted visiting the Patricia Field store in Manhattan’s East Village on Tuesday afternoon, carrying the bag whilst wearing her Alexander McQueen denim tailcoat jacket, with jeans, a black tee, a chain belt and YSL Trib Two’s.

The metallic gold bag is definitely an investment piece. You can dress it up, or dress it down to your liking. This bag is currently available to purchase on Matches Fashion for £739/€798.12, or the DvF website for $995.

I waited and waited for the Beyonce Knowles’ Vogue US April 2009 editorial. I don’t know what I was expecting, but when I finally saw it, I felt quite disappointed.

B was photographed by Mario Testino, but I still feel totally uninspired by her shoot. The shots are quite dull. Maybe because this shoot is all about Beyonce and not Sasha. Sasha has a bit of an edge to her.

With regards to the cover, many bloggers are asking the question: Is Beyoncé’s Vogue cover racist?

Sociological Images blogger said:

“For the second time this year, the Vogue cover features a woman of color, Beyonce. Unfortunately, in line with cultural stereotypes, the issue is the ‘Shape Issue,’ contributing to the stereotype of Black women, and Latina women too, as especially ‘curvy’….”

I look forward to the day when we’re not shocked by a woman of colour being on the cover for Vogue 2 months in a row, and these types of questions are not asked. Until then, I’ll just look at the pretty pictures.
