Beyonce Knowles In Roberto Cavalli

Following her appearance at V Festival this weekend Beyonce posted some pictures of herself on her Iam.Beyonce Tumblr sporting her new bob.

While there have been mixed reactions to the new ‘do, I have to say I love it and much prefer it over the pixie.

The singer wore a Roberto Cavalli cantaloupe-mint-lime-white-and-black-print three-quarter-sleeve floor-length dress with a v-neckline inspired by the Italian designer’s Spring 2013 collection.

Made from a form-fitting stretch jersey and detailed with gold embellishments, this floor-skimming design is a failsafe way to assert your style status, as perfectly demonstrated here.

A statement ring, subtle gold necklace and pink lips completed her look.

Beyonce Knowles' Multiple Costume Changes At V Festival

Beyonce Knowles took to the main stage at Hylands Park in Chelmsford, England on Saturday evening, where she was the headline act at V Festival.

The singer had multiple costume changes – all of which we have seen from her Mrs Carter Tour – seamlessly changing from David Koma to Gucci, to Pucci, to Givenchy, to Ralph and Russo, and to Dennis Kolpodinos for Vrettos Vrettakos.

Still rocking the Pob (Posh bob), I now see why she opted for a slightly longer ‘do over the pixie cut she showcased last week.

Bey is known for her almost neck-breaking hair flip and with the longer bob she was able to work her signature move to full effect.

For Sunday’s performance she switched things up a bit, opting to give her bob romantic curls as seen below.

Beyonce Knowles Debuts New Do In Miami

As the world knows, Beyonce Knowles cut her hair last week into a cropped pixie ‘do which is the shortest style we’ve ever seen her rock, freeing herself from the trademark long blonde locks we have associated her with for so long.

The singer is due to headline V Festival in Chelmsford and Staffordshire in England this weekend, so I was excited to see how she would adapt her style to her new look.

So colour me disappointed when the first pictures of Beyonce having lunch in Miami yesterday following the big reveal see the star sporting a longer asymmetrical bob, much like the Pob (the Posh bob).

Such a hoopla was made about the cut – even her hairstylist sent out a press release about the crop – so why make all that noise if the first thing you are going to do is add hair extensions?

I will be interested to see how the look evolves.

Pixie Cut Trend

When Beyonce chopped off her hair last week, it was one of the most shocking celebrity haircuts in quite a while. In all honesty, the cut was likely a combination of removing extensions and cutting some hair, but the results were surprisingly (Sasha) Fierce, and I’m excited to see Queen Bey rock her shorter ‘do–especially since many people associate her entire persona with her gorgeous long hair.

And right on Mrs. Carter’s heels was another dramatic hair change: Model Coca Rocha cut her mid-length tresses into a edgy cut–super short around the sides with a bit more length on the top. Keeping the extra length on the top will allow for lots of variety at photoshoots (as Coco has already revealed via Instagram), and the shorter length shows off the model’s striking bone structure far more than her previous look.

By cutting off their locks, these two ladies have joined the ranks of stars who have dared to go super short.

Robin Wright has been rocking a pixie for about a year now, and she showed off her low maintenance crop once again this week on the red carpet.

And Ginnifer Goodwin, who has one of the most famous (and long-lasting) pixie cuts in Hollywood loves her short cut so much that she actually writes it into her filming contracts–she gets to keep the hair short and wear wigs for roles!

To keep your own pixie looking chic day after day, use Short Sexy Hair Quick Change Shaping Balm to create a style that is easily reactivated the next day, and to shape your hair and hold it in place, Oscar Blandi’s Pronto Dry Sculpting Pomade is a great option. If it’s moisture and shine you want, try Carol’s Daughter Mimosa Hair Honey.

So what do you think? Are all these ladies rocking the short hair, or do you prefer them with longer locks?

Beyonce Knowles In Gucci - The Mrs Carter Show

As stated earlier in the week, Beyonce Knowles has added some new looks to her wardrobe for her ‘The Mrs Carter Show World Tour’.

During her performances from August 3-5 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, she also added another Gucci look.

The ‘shake-your-tail-feather’ one-of-a-kind fully embroidered mini dress, embellished with metallic sequins and feathers in a degrade effect from taupe to deep-red, was styled with nude pumps and fishnet tights.

Since the tour goes on until December, I wonder how many more stage looks will be added to her repertoire.

Beyonce Knowles In Gucci - The Mrs Carter Show

Beyonce Knowles has been on her ‘The Mrs Carter Show’ tour since April and, with many more cities to go until the show reaches its conclusion on December 20, many of her performance looks have to be kept updated.

The newest addition comes courtesy of Gucci, which the singer wore on Saturday nights show.

The look features a black-and-white long-sleeved top with a plunging neckline enriched with black bugle beads, which was paired with white straight-leg pants; a black hat with red pumps provided a colour pop and a twist.

While this look was custom made, it looks like it was inspired by Gucci’s Spring 2012 collection.

Beyonce Knowles Loves Her Gucci’s Bamboo Shopper Jaguar Tote

Spotted: A fierce new accessory that makes it easy to walk on the wild side. Gucci’s Fall 2013 large bamboo shopper in gold and black animalier jaguar-printed leather has Beyonce Knowles’ name written all over it.

The songstress first toted the Gucci carryall straight into trendster territory while out in New York City last month, introducing a feline note into her lighthearted Proenza Schouler printed dress and Dolce & Gabbana sandals, all topped off with Topshop porkie hat and quirky Quay Eyeware Australia sunglasses

Beyonce worked her Gucci tote and porkie hat combo again, as she waved to fans while exiting Cafe Nervosa in Toronto, Canada yesterday afternoon.

Opting for yet more print, Bey wore a Dagmar Fall 2013 harem jumpsuit lugging her Longchamp expandable Le Pliage travel bag, while Jay-Z got the easy job of holding the baby.

As for her sunnies, again they were quirky, this time hailing from the House of Holland collection.

Rihanna, Rita Ora and Pixie Geldof have all been spotted wearing these same sunglasses.
