Is there a cover that Beyonce Knowles is not gracing at the moment?

We have seen her in Essence, Gotham and InStyle US. As you can see there are 3 covers for this Winter 2008 issue. The magazine, prepared 50,000 ‘Obama’s in the House’ red, white and blue stickers to add to front cover.

Editor Stephen Gan said “The issues were on their way to newsstands and this was our own small way of commemorating the moment.”

Here are some extracts from her interview:

On her preparations for her 110-date tour starting next year: “When I’m onstage I’m aggressive and strong and not afraid of my sexuality. The tone of my voice gets different, and I’m fearless. I’m just a different person.”

On her alter ego, ‘Sasha Fierce’: “It’s a way for me to differentiate what I do onstage from who I really am – It’s a way for me to not lose myself, to keep my life in perspective, because it’s really hard sometimes to stay on earth when you’re a celebrity.”

On the her hectic life: “There’s so much going on, and so many people give you whatever you want and say everything you do is great. At this point, I kind of have it down. I know boundaries, and I can look at somebody and say I don’t want them in my circle. I’ve been doing this for twelve years professionally, and I’ve learned. it’s easier now. Fame is a lot of work, but it doesn’t consume my life. I’m not obsessed.”

On the moment just before she performs at her concerts: “It’s funny because right before the show I’m under the stage making sure my double-stick is in the right place, my pack is turned on, and my shoes have the stickies on the bottom so I don’t slip – all of these things that are so not glamorous. Then I take my last slip of water, clear my throat, close my eyes, and tell myself: “You are fierce. You are fierce. You are fierce!” And the second I take that first step and hear the crowd, I kind of transform. By the time I get up to the stage, I’m in the zone. It’s like I’m ready for war.”

OK she has same expressions in all the main pictures, but you can not deny the Dior and Rodarte editorials are amazing. ? the Dior.

Beyonce Knowles mentioned in her recent InStyle magazine interview that she loves Alexander McQueen’s designs, and here again she is wearing a piece from his Fall 2008 collection.

The singer looked fantastic as she took to the stage tonight perform Single Ladies and If I Were A Boy at the 2008 World Music Awards wearing black velvet waistcoat with gold military frogging and a red collar, but she gave the look a sexy spin with a white blouse, shimmering leggings and gold Dior gladiator platforms.

It looks like that metal hand is going to be around for a while, because she wore it again for this performance.

When Beyonce Knowles performed her hit single If I Wear A Boy at the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards tonight, she wore ANOTHER Gareth Pugh creation. This time from the Fall 2008 collection.

The singer opted out of the ribbed leather leggings, but wore the dress, with structured shoulders and a peplum at the waist.

The single is a very slow gushy ballad, so you would have expected Beyonce to come out in a long flowing Elie Saab, or Versace gown, but no.

Could this be the turn around I have been praying for? Time will tell.

I had to do a double take when I saw Beyonce Knowles arrive at the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards in Liverpool tonight.

Beyonce Knowles floored me with pure shock that she was wore such an edgy British designer.

The R&B singer arrived on the red carpet wearing a modified Gareth Pugh Spring 2009 black dress, with gold Giuseppe Zanotti heels and gold metal glove.

I had to rub my eyes to make sure I was not seeing things. I mean who would have thought bland Beyonce could pull this off, and with a personality. Look at her posing.

Sasha fierce, thats for sure.

Regular readers will remember that Roisin Murphy wore a similar dress by the same designer right off the runway.

Beyonce Knowles appears in Gotham’s magazine’s November 2008 edition.

Recently she has spoken out about the magazine article in which she revealed she almost suffered a nervous breakdown, insisting she may have been misquoted.

The pop superstar is far from happy with the Gotham magazine piece, in which she reportedly stated she was headed towards a collapse two years ago.

Beyonce now says, “I wouldn’t say I was on the verge of a breakdown. That’s a very strong thing to say.”

She adds, “Maybe. I have been before.”

Here is what the magazine quote her as saying:

“Years ago, I was definitely headed for a breakdown.
Just way too much work—my life was my career and I had no other life. It started when I was 15 and I hadn’t learned the importance of balance, making sure I took a day off. I didn’t know what ‘no’ was, what boundaries were. At this point, I know that after a certain amount of time I have to go home. I know what I like now. It just takes life experience to get a good balance. When you’re young, you don’t know what relaxes you.”

U.S. Launch Party for the BlackBerry Bold, LA

Are you hating Kate Bosworth as much I am right now?

It is so unfair that she can look this gorgeous, with minimal make-up.

I absolutely adore her casual Chloe Spring 2009 ensemble. The peach silk shorts are divine, which she pairs with a white top, and a cream blazer, which she wears à la Don Johnson in Miami Vice.

♥ x 10000000.

Jennifer Morrison shows off the Blackberry Bold, which is currently the only non-fashion related item on my wish list.

The actress wore a strapless raspberry satin Herve Leroux dress, which some might argue is slightly OTT for this event, but I would say at least she made the effort.

Nicky Hilton wore a very bright floral strapless H&M dress, which really stands out, and is beautiful on her.

Eva Longoria’s stylist may have had the night off.

As did Hayden Panettiere’s.

Hayden has been worrying me a lot lately. Her style choices have been getting progressively worst as time goes on.

“High School Musical 3″ Premiere, Mexico

Speaking of getting progressively worst. Vanessa Hudgens arrived at this premiere wearing a hideous BCBG Max Azria LBD with puff sleeves. But that is not the worst part. The worst part is the hair.

I don’t know if it is the bangs, or the bangs with the curly hair, or the volume of the hair, but it’s just not working.

Celebration Honoring Damiano Biella Benefitting Free Arts NYC, New York

Hilary Swank arrived at this event wearing white Escada Fall 2008 belted coat. She removed the coat to reveal an olive Escada dress, which looks similar to the Givenchy Fall 2008 Couture dress she wore to the Fashion Rocks event earlier this year.

I like the colour of her dress, but it looks really creased, so maybe she should have left her coat on.

“Doubt” Premiere, LA

An enchanting Amy Adams arrived at this premiere wearing a stunning strapless dress with lace overlay, and a black satin bow tied at her waist.

What I love here is that she picked maroon peep-toes and clutch, instead of the standard black.

Premiere Of Focus Features’ “Milk”, LA

Before there was Cate Blanchett, my original girl crush was Diane Lane. The beautiful actress is so incredibly graceful, and her husband Josh Brolin is very easy on the eye too.

This velvet eggplant gown is just divine on her, and the feather detail on the shoulder is a nice finishing touch.

Samantha Thavasa New Collection Launch, Toyko

OK, I understand that Beyonce Knowles is big in Japan, but Solange? Really?

Anyway Beyonce and her coat-tail riding sister, arrived at the Samantha Thavasa store in Japan to promotion their latest collection of bags.

I would understand a some child being proud to say she owns a bag designed by Beyonce, but by Solange? REALLY?

Beyonce wore a two tone Herve Leger dress, which is not so bad – yet predictably tight, and in a colour which Kim Kardashian would wear – it’s the hair that I hate. It gets higher and higher each time I see her.

I will never get Solange, and I have no intention of trying to.

Beyonce Knowles said “konnichiwa” to her waiting fans as she landed in Toyko yesterday afternoon looking every bit the diva, wearing her shades, as she breezed through the airport, with her security guard carrying her Roberto Cavalli Apple bag.

The star also wore black jeans, studded silver tipped Giuseppe Zanotti heels (to-die-for), a ruffled blouse and a Alexander McQueen Denim tailcoat jacket.

In her recent interview with InStyle magazine Beyonce said “Alexander McQueen and Jean Paul Gaultier are two designers I love right now”. And we are seeing the love right here.

I really like the jacket, so I am shocked that she picked such an interesting piece, considering her taste in clothes.

The black stretch denim tailcoat jacket has a ruffle trim throughout, cuffed three-quarter length sleeves, and crest embossed buttons. You can purchase this coat from Net-A-Porter’s international site for £745/€995.
