Bérénice Béjo In Louis Vuitton – 2012 Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Bérénice Béjo officially opened the 2012 Cannes Film Festival at a ceremony held inside the Palais des Festivals this evening.

The Master of Ceremony was radiant wearing a Louis Vuitton red gown.

Her silk mousseline multi-layered gown with a pleated front and a large red bow at the back of the gown has a cascading ombre train.

Flawless makeup, sparkling Chopard jewels and dark tumbling side swept waves completed her look.

This is more like it from Bérénice. Where was this during awards season?

Bérénice Bejo In Elie Saab Couture – 2012 Oscars

Berenice Bejo played it safe on the red carpet at the 2012 Oscars, held in Hollywood this evening.

As predicted ‘The Artist’ actress wore an Elie Saab Spring 2012 Couture gown.

Her mint long sleeve fully embroidered gown with a deep v neckline.

By opting for this mint green colours, she prevents herself being totally washed out had she opted or the runway white.

Swarovski custom-made her clutch to match her dress and she dazzled in Chopard jewels.

Even with all those accessories, I still feel like something is missing to give this look the wow factor.

Bérénice Bejo In Elie Saab – 2012 Academy Awards Nominations Luncheon

As you know I’m placing bets on Bérénice Bejo wearing Elie Saab on Oscar night, so I was happy to see her wearing my favourite designer to the 84th Academy Awards Nominations Luncheon which was held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California earlier today.

The Argentine-French actress wore an Elie Saab purple sleeveless pleated cocktail dress, which is her third Elie Saab looks so far leading up to awards season.

A gold box clutch and black strappy sandals completed the look.

Bérénice Bejo In Ralph Lauren – 2012 SAG Awards

Berenice Bejo opted for a simple yet beautiful look on the red carpet for the 2012 SAG Awards yesterday evening.

The actress from ‘The Artist’ wore a Ralph Lauren Spring 2012 gown.

She added some bling to her ivory tulle beaded gown with a magnificent amethyst pendant necklace from Chopard’s Temptations collection, plus she carried a silver crystal Swarovski clutch.

Kohl-rimmed eyes and a copper lip colour to match her hair, which was swept back into a low curly ponytail, completed her look.

Bérénice Bejo In Gucci – 2012 Directors Guild of America Awards

Bérénice Bejo opted for a flapper-esqe look on the red carpet for the 2012 Directors Guild of America Awards in Hollywood, California yesterday evening.

Despite any strong feelings of déjà vu that you may have about this dress, this is the first time we are seeing Look 35 on the red carpet.

Her gold and black drop-waist dress with art deco lines, and a fringed skirt was teamed with Gucci accessories including a gold and black clutch and strappy sandals.

A side-parted, side-swept ponytail and gold earrings completed her look.

I hope we continue to see more variety from her in the lead up to the Oscars.

Front Row @ Elie Saab Spring 2012 Couture

Bérénice Bejo: The Oscar-nominated actress took her front-row seat at Elie Saab’s Spring 2012 Couture show yesterday following a succession of red carpet appearances wearing the designer’s threads. On this occasion she wore a raspberry fitted Resort 2012 dress with a ruffled detail on the hip and a plunging neckline. She accessorized with a matching clutch and black YSL sandals. As an Oscar nominee and considering her front-row appearance, I think it’s safe to say that she’s most definitely going to be wearing Elie Saab on February 26.

Olga Kurylenko: The Ukrainian actress donned a vibrant yellow Elie Saab Spring 2012 dress with lace panels on the front. Like the runway model she also paired her dress with matching sandals.

Sonam Kapoor: I have featured the Indian actress many times since Cannes Film Festival and I’m more entranced with her with every look. She has worn a variety of designers, but on this occasion she proudly represented her heritage wearing a traditional sari by Deepti Pruthi. This look was paired with an Elie Saab lace shrug and bejewelled flats. When she swept into the venue, everyone near me was whispering, “Who’s that?” I told those sitting near me that she’s the “Angelina Jolie of India”. I’m not entirely sure if that is true, but she did command your attention much like Ms Jolie. I know I always say this, but she is even more beautiful in the flesh. She is also surprisingly tall, as most celebrities I meet are shorter than expected.
