Berenice Bejo In Giambattista Valli Couture – 2014 Golden Globe Awards

Berenice Bejo In Giambattista Valli Couture - 2014 Golden Globe Awards

Bérénice Bejo was another lady-in-red at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards, held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Sunday (January 12).

She didn’t shy away from the drama in her crimson-hued Giambattista Valli Fall 2013 Couture confection.

Despite the powerfully potent colour, the rest of the gown just seemed to be overwhelming on the petite actress—from the bold shoulder to the flurry of floral-like embellishment, even the diaphanous long train.

Perhaps the added lining of the skirt, which was not seen on the runway, was the root of the heaviness here.

Likewise, she certainly didn’t require as many pieces from the Dior Fine Jewelry collection, despite how stunning they were. The hoop earrings needed to disappear.

While I appreciated the artistry of the gown, I couldn’t shake the fact that it seemed to detract rather than enhance Bérénice’s natural beauty. The dress ultimately seemed to be wearing her. What do you think?

Berenice Bejo In Maxime Simoëns – 2014 National Board Of Review Awards Gala

Berenice Bejo In Maxime Simoëns - 2014 National Board Of Review Awards Gala

Berenice Bejo joined fellow French actresses Lea Seydoux and Adele Exarchopoulos for the 2014 National Board Of Review Awards Gala held at Cipriani 42nd Street on Tuesday (January 7) in New York City.

While the others opted for colour and daintiness respectively, Berenice wore an uber-sleek and sexy Maxime Simoens Spring 2014 look featuring a leather panelled collarless jacket and tiled appliqué black pants, to which she added a black blouse, opting not to wear the bandeau presented on the runway.

I love her accessories, which perfectly completed and amped up the edginess of her look which included a Christian Louboutin ‘Mina’ spiked oval clutch and Rupert Sanderson ‘Estelle’ sandals.

Berenice Bejo In Giorgio Armani - Giorgio Armani Hosts 'One Night Only' Roma

Berenice Bejo also attended the ‘One Night Only’ Roma event hosted by Giorgio Armani in Rome, Italy on Wednesday evening.

The French actress glided down the red carpet wearing a Giorgio Armani Spring 2013 gown with a dazzling black-and-white chequered bodice and black satin skirt.

While the dress is a tad shapeless, I prefer the overall presentation to Milla Jovovich’s effort.

Wavy tresses and a black clutch completed her look.

Berenice Bejo In Elie Saab – ‘Zulu’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere and Closing Ceremony

Berenice Bejo In Elie Saab - 'Zulu' Cannes Film Festival Premiere and Closing Ceremony

Berenice Bejo joined many of her French peers on the red carpet this evening at the Palais des Festivals in France for the ‘Zulu’ premiere and Closing Ceremony for the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.
The actress wore an Elie Saab teal over-the-knee dress.

Opting for a matchy matchy look, Berenice added teal suede Elie Saab shoes and a teal embroidered Elie Saab clutch to her look; even her nails were painted in the same teal hue.

The only colour other than teal here are her silver earrings and her rouge lip colour.

I love this colour; it’s so rich and warm, so I found the dark lip colour was complementary.

Do you like the matchy matchiness of this look or did you find it too one-note?

Berenice Bejo In Alexis Mabille Couture – ‘Le Passe’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Berenice Bejo In Alexis Mabille Couture - ‘Le Passe’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

As the star of the movie, Berenice Bejo took center stage on the red carpet at the Palais des Festivals for the premiere of ‘Le Passé’ during the 2013 Cannes Film Festival in France this evening.

My first words were “J’Adore”.

Starting to grow ever so slightly weary of predictable gowns (especially when worn over and over again by the same person) this was a breath of fresh air.

The French beauty wore an ever so memorable Alexis Mabile Spring 2013 gown.

I love her version of this look which features a navy double-breasted tailored blazer with satin lapels over an ivory strapless bustier gown with a lace tiered skirt.

The juxtaposition of the masculine-and-feminine sets my senses tingling to the top of my finger tips.

We have seen some great gowns at Cannes, but this was really a “wow” moment for me.

A super slicked back ponytail, Monique Pean grey ombré fossilized walrus ivory-and-smokey quartz geometric oval earrings with white diamond pavé and a quirky Olympia Le-Tan book clutch completed her look.
