'The Hobbit The Desolation Of Smaug' Berlin Premiere Menswear Roundup

Fittingly dapper, Benedict Cumberbatch, Richard Armitage, Luke Evans and Orlando Bloom joined Evangeline Lilly on the red carpet at the Sony Centre in Germany last night for the Berlin premiere of ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.’

Benedict Cumberbatch: The British actor came suited in a Dolce & Gabbana blue velvet blazer, bow tie and grey trousers. This is the actors second Dolce & Gabbana velvet suit having worn a red velvet blazer to the LA premiere earlier this month.

Richard Armitage: Keeping up the blue trend, which would be continued throughout the night, Richard Armitage opted for a opted for a navy Unconditional suit set off by a blue tie and shirt. By all accounts, this is a well matched look with a colourful pocket square preventing the look from feeling too one-note.

Menswear 2 DecFrom movie premieres to the awards stage, the guys suited up over the past few days to hit the red carpet, impressing at every sartorial turn.

Orlando Bloom: Decked in a Lanvin Fall 2013 ensemble, Orlando attended ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug’ Los Angeles premiere on Monday. Although his navy one-button tuxedo with black grosgrain shawl collar and white cotton dress shirt with French cuffs and antique silver cuff links were formal, his tie-less approach and black patent-leather, cap-toe sneakers kicked this look into more casual-cool territory.

Idris Elba: At the ‘Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom’ Paris premiere on Monday, Idris put his own spin on fifty shades of grey in a Dior Homme grey-checquered wool, notch-lapel two-button suit, paired with a black, cotton poplin shirt and a black silk tie. Grey loafers finished his outing; a nice departure from black.

Benedict Cumberbatch: The British actor strode out his dapper best at the ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug’ Los Angeles premiere. His Dolce & Gabbana three-piece tuxedo featured a luxe, deep mahogany velvet blazer with contrasting shawl lapel, worn with a charcoal-grey vest and tux-stripe pants and a pert black bow tie.

Menswear Toronto 1

The Toronto International Film Festival in Canada has provided a bevy of well-styled beauties. Now, for those guys, who also brought their A-game.

Benedict Cumberbatch: At the ’12 Years A Slave’ premiere at the Princess of Wales Theatre, the British actor was refined and relaxed in a light grey Dolce & Gabbana suit with a tie-less, white button-down shirt and reflective, black loafers. He worked this cool and clean-cut styling like a pro.

Hugh Jackman: The actor-stud glossed up the ‘Prisoners’ premiere at The Elgin in a shiny, dark Dolce & Gabbana suit paired over a midnight-navy shirt and black skinny tie. A bit of scruff added some rugged charm to all that fashion.

Brad Pitt: Like Benedict, Brad skipped the tie and unbuttoned his top collar, giving us some Gucci with this black notch-lapel, two-button ‘Brera’ black suit and white dress shirt at the ’12 Years A Slave’ premiere. His bad-boy ‘do of the day? A looped ponytail for those longish locks.

2013 Toronto International Film Festival Menswear Roundup

Benedict Cumberbatch: Benedict attended ‘The Fifth Estate’ premiere during the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival in Toronto, Canada yesterday evening joining co-stars Alicia Vikander and Carice van Houten. The handsome actor, who can play a baddie like no other, looked very debonair in his classic Dolce & Gabbana peaked-lapel tuxedo with a white shirt accented with black pin buttons and a smart bow tie. Does this make you swoon?

Tom Hiddleston: Joining co-star Mia Wasikowska, Tom attended the ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ premiere wearing a slick black double-breasted Giorgio Armani suit with a velvet shawl collar and satin black tie.

Dan Stevens: Fresh from his ‘Most Stylist’ GQ Man of the Year Award, Dan opted for something different going blue and tieless while attending the premiere of ‘The Fifth Estate’, wearing a blue wool two-button notch lapel suit, black cotton dress shirt and black lace-up leather shoes from the Fall 2013 Calvin Klein Collection.

Daniel Brühl: The actor added a maroon patterned tie to his charcoal grey notched lapel Emporio Armani suit to liven things up while also attending the premiere of ‘The Fifth Estate’.

Even though I love it when guys wear suits in colours other than black or grey. I can’t decide who I love more between Benedict and Tom in their classic tuxedos.

'Star Trek Into Darkness' New York Special Screening

The most stylish men of the moment were back on the red carpet to promote their latest movie, ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’, in New York City last night sans their lovely female co-stars for a boys’ night out.

Chris Pine: Once again, the handsome actor made me swoon. This time, he looked very dashing sporting pinstripes and polka dots in a well fitted Ralph Lauren three-piece suit. He has had two great looks this week, but this is by far my favourite. Very Gordon Gekko.

Zachary Quinto: After going punk at the Met Gala and sporting a creased look on Jimmy Fallon, Zachary looked uber slick at this event sporting a Todd Snyder navy suit. The twist on this occasion is that his blazer features leather lapels, with a chambray shirt adding a relaxed vibe to his look.

Benedict Cumberbatch: As the villain in this movie, the British actor continues to stick to a dark colour palette, this time wearing a midnight-blue suit with black lapels, which he wore with a white dress shirt, black tie and white pocket square.

Star Trek Into Darkness - UK Film Premiere

The men of ‘Star Trek Into The Darkness’ have been making us swoon over the past few weeks and that love will deepen for some of you who have been pining for Benedict Cumberbatch – OK, now I get it.

At the London premiere this evening, the handsome trio – wedged between the gorgeous Alice Eve and Zoe Saldana – all wore three-piece suits, much to my delight.

Chris Pine: The handsome actor donned another Ralph Lauren Purple Label suit which was made-to-measure. His grey cashmere herringbone suit was once again styled with that purple tie which many of you disliked in Berlin and a lilac checked shirt. No tan shoes on this occasion. Instead he opted for a black leather pair.

Zachary Quinto: There is something about Zachary that I just can’t get enough of. This evening he worked a three-piece navy-blue notched lapel suit, which by his adventurous standards, was fairly tame, yet he looks so damn handsome. Like Katy Perry his quirky side and strait-laced side delight with equal aplomb.

Benedict Cumberbatch: We all love a bad boy, hence your love for Benedict who is the baddie of the movie. The British actor was dress in all black – including his newly dyed hair – looking very handsome in his classic three-piece suit styled with a black tie, white shirt and white pocket square.
