Bellamy Young posed for the cameras at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars Party this Sunday (March 2).
The First Lady on ‘Scandal’ took a fashion risk and wore an Alon Livné Spring 2014.
I’m always excited to see celebrities trying runway looks but in this case, I’m afraid the risk didn’t pay off.
Cutouts, neons, a metallic clutch, long earrings and her hair down add to what I think, is a dysfunctional look.
Am I being too conservative or does this just not work?
The First Lady of ‘Scandal’, Bellamy Young, attended the NAACP Image Awards 2014, held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California on Saturday (February 22).
She looked beautiful wearing a David Meister red matte jersey strapless gown from the Spring 2014 collection styled with diamond encrusted ruby jewels.
I would’ve perhaps stuck with just the earrings and left the necklace at home on this occasion, but she looks stunning nonetheless.
What do you think? Was the necklace too much?
Many more stars joined Kerry Washington and Malin Akerman at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California on Sunday for the Television Critics Association’s Summer Press Tour party.
Bellamy Young: Kerry’s co-star selected a pretty summery frock styled with a thin yellow belt and gold clutch, letting herself down with the heavy gold pumps.
Christa B Allen: The actress wore a bright-fuchsia-pink long-sleeved 60s-style Jenni Kayne Spring 2013 frock, with metallic-gold pumps and a pink Jimmy Choo ‘Cosma’ clutch completing her fresh, modern, summery look.
Darby Stanchfield: The ‘Scandal’ star is the latest to fall for the charming pieces from Alexa von Canisius. She wore a black silk top paired with a flirty jacquard floral-print pleated skirt and simple black pumps.
Sophie Lowe: The pretty actress donned a colourful printed Carven Resort 2014 frock styled with an electrifying neon-green clutch and black Bionda Castana ‘Christa’ platform shoes.
‘Scandal’ took home the ‘Best Drama Series’ Award at the 2013 NAACP Image Awards, held in California on Friday evening.
The First Lady, aka Bellamy Young, joined co-star Tony Goldwyn on the red carpet at The Shrine Auditorium looking gorgeous wearing a J. Mendel gown.
With so much sparkle on this red carpet Bellamy opted for a dramatic, deep crimson coloured gown.
Her draped shawl collar gown with a fitted bodice and bias-seamed mermaid skirt which fitted through the knee, before flaring to the floor with a mini train was styled with a beautiful ruby stone necklace, matching earrings and a simple bun.
Shimmering silver eye shadow made Bellamy’s blue eyes pop with a coral lip colour providing the finishing touch.
