Front Row @ NYFW Weekend Catch Up

Here’s a quick catch up of the front row who caught my eye during New York Fashion Week this weekend.

Ciara @ Prabal Gurung: The singer wore a pretty Prabal Gurung embroidered angular insert dress with a flared silhouette styled with bondage boots courtesy of Casadei, which were presented during the designer’s Fall 2013 collection.

Solange Knowles @ Alexander Wang: What’s not to love about Solange’s outfit? The colour, the quirky glasses, the Wang Resort 2014 skirt, that bag and those sexy sandals…? Perhaps it shouldn’t, but it ALL works.

Rihanna @ Opening Ceremony: It’s been a while since we saw Rihanna front row at NYFW, as she tends to skip the shows and head to the after-parties. On Sunday she was front and centre at Opening Ceremony wearing a grey Zac Posen satin floral dress with Underground ‘Wulfrun’ creepers with a Lynn Ban choker. A part of me wants to say it’s ridiculous to pair such a pretty dress with creepers, but I have to say she sells it to me, as per.

Bella Thorne In Olima - 28th Annual Imagen Awards

Bella Thorne joined Aubrey Plaza at the 28th annual Imagen Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Friday.

The Disney star wore a black strapless Olima dress with a waffle-weave top and wool skirt.

She accessorized her look with black Prada sandals with cut-outs and gold detailing, a tri-colour Pierre Hardy clutch, a Iosselliani Rolex statement necklace and Unearthen bracelets, plus rings and earrings by Le Vian.

Even though this is a great look, especially in the accessories department, I’m looking forward to seeing the 15-year-old actress going back to having more fun on the red carpet. Save this for Naomi Watts and Nicole Kidman.

InStyle Summer Soiree

There were many more lovely ladies who attended the InStyle Summer Soiree held at the Mondrian Los Angeles in West Hollywood, California yesterday evening.

Darby Stanchfield: The ‘Scandal’ actress instantly caught my eye, not only because of the striking contrast between her gorgeous flame-red beehive and electric-blue drop-waist Paper London dress, but mostly because of her pronounced eyebrows, which gave the look a futuristic vibe, further punctuated by her sculptural Kzeniya clutch and Emporio Armani silver pumps.

Ashley Tisdale: Although this sleeveless Clover Canyon ‘Orchid Trip’ neoprene dress is very much expected from Ashley, I love the soft pastel pieces styled with the look. The black clutch is very much the odd man out here.

Analeigh Tipton: The actress was one of many who also opted for neutral tones, wearing a chic tunic top and matching trousers by Ermanno Scervino accented with a black waistband. Opting not to go with black accessories, she wore white Casadei sandals and carried a gold Stark clutch, with Dannijo earrings completing the look.

Bella Thorne In Alexander McQueen - 'The Mortal Instruments City of Bones' LA Premiere

Bella Thorne was out on a school night to attend ‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones’ LA premiere held at ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, California on Monday evening alongside Lily Collins.

The young starlet wasn’t your favourite on the red carpet at the Teen Choice Awards, so here she lightened things up, opting for another printed look – this time sleeveless – from Alexander McQueen.

This beautiful chenille dress features a motif inspired by the intricacies of stained-glass windows, innocently decadent with a streamlined classic McQueen silhouette.

Styled with Christian Louboutin ‘Summerissima’ sandals, black hooped earrings and a gold Cartier bracelet, she added a youthful touch with bubblegum-pink lips and a Rapunzel braid.

Bella Thorne In Fausto Puglisi - 2013 Teen Choice Awards

Bella Thorne brought the tropics to the 2013 Teen Choice Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California on Sunday.

The Disney starlet wore a palm-print two-piece ensemble from the Fausto Puglisi Resort 2014 collection featuring a coral long-sleeved top and a blue skater skirt with an asymmetrical hemline.

While the black Candies pumps are a bit blah, they don’t bring down her look, which was also accessorized with a DVF clutch and gold jewels.

I do wish this look was sleeveless, but her look was a lot more original than most at this event so she gets many props for that.

Bella Thorne In Blumarine - 'Planes' LA Premiere

Bella Thorne attended the premiere of Disney’s ‘Planes’ held at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California yesterday evening.

Proving that her co-star Zendaya Coleman isn’t the only teen in Hollywood with a great eye for shoes, she wore bright-green Bionda Castana ‘Consuelo’ ankle-strap pumps with scalloped edges with her pretty floral-and-striped Blumarine Fall 2013 frock.

The rest of her accessories included a peach box Diane von Furstenberg ‘Lytton’ quilted clutch and a braided hairband for her red barrel-curled locks.

I love the pretty mix of colours with the stark contrasting shoe. This look couldn’t be more perfect for the 15-year-old Disney star.

You may remember that this dress was recently worn by Jada Pinkett-Smith.
