Bella Thorne In Bec & Bridge - Cartoon Network’s Hall Of Game Awards

After a run of moody colours, Bella Thorne was back to her colourful best at the 4th Annual Cartoon Network Hall Of Game Awards held at Barker Hangar on Saturday (February 15) in Santa Monica, California joining Victoria Justice.

The Disney star wore a two-piece Bec & Bridge Resort 2014 look consisting of a floral-print bustier top and a high-waist blue pencil skirt styled with a beautiful pair of pastel-yellow Bionda Castana ‘Lana’ pumps, which was a sprightly way to complete the look.

Beauty-wise, she styled her red hair into a high bun accented with what looks like a mint-green scrunchie, with a pink lip providing the finishing touch.

Bella Thorne In Kate Spade New York - 'Winter's Tale' World Premiere

Bella Thorne attended the ‘Winter’s Tale’ world premiere held at Ziegfeld Theater on Tuesday (February 11) in New York City.

The actress opted for a shocking-pink fit-and-flare Kate Spade New York ‘Roset’ dress.

Oozing sophisticated femininity, the figure-defining dress in a luscious shade of fuchsia-pink was styled with dual-colour black-and-white pumps which blended into the black carpet.

Usually one to opt for a quirky touch here or expressive nail art there, the actress kept her styling simple on this occasion, completing her look with a bouffant ponytail which was perfectly in tune with her 50s-inspired frock.

Do you love this look, or are you turning down the brightness on your screen?

Bella Thorne In AQ AQ - ‘Vampire Academy’ LA Premiere

Bella Thorne joined a celeb-heavy red carpet which saw Debby RyanSami Gayle, Olga Kurylenko, Holland Roden, Zoey Deutch and Sarah Hyland attending the premiere of ‘Vampire Academy’ held at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live on Tuesday (February 4) in Los Angeles, California.

The Disney star wore an AQ//AQ black baby-doll frock with black Jimmy Choo lace sandals and an Emm Kuo gold-snake-and-tan Mother of Pearl ‘Ciggones’ minaudiere clutch with crystal caviar beading.

This was perhaps my least favourite from this stellar event. Maybe I would’ve been more inclined to like this look if she had opted for a bold lip colour instead of the glossy pink lip she decided upon.

Cute, but bland.

ELLE's Women In Television CelebrationStarlets were spotted at every turn at ELLE’s Annual Women In Television Celebration, held on Wednesday (January 22) at Sunset Tower in West Hollywood, California. Here, a roundup of other PYTs at the event.

Emma Roberts: Debuting a sleek new, angled bob, the actress paired her bright, platinum ’do with a monochromatic Cushnie et Ochs moment, featuring the label’s signature cutouts on the black top. With the skirt’s side-flair detail, an Emm Kuo clutch and black, Christian Louboutin ‘Viveka’ crossover-strap sandals, this was a look that was both sassy and chic.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum: The actress dressed up in a blush-tinged Zac Posen Spring 2014 floral brocade party frock. The designer’s signature brand of drama was written all over the look with its impeccable structure, corset-inspired bodice and ruffles. She completed the fairytale femininity with nude Brian Atwood ‘Tamara’ ankle-wrap sandals, a sparkling Oroton ‘Debutante’ clutch, and EF Collection and Jennifer Meyer jewels. With the side updo and magenta lippie, was this just too much?

Bella Thorne: Edging up her pastel-yellow Miu Miu silk faille strapless bustier dress, the young starlet carried a Miu Miu yellow-and-white, nappa leather biker bag with pink crystal detail. She topped off the look with light pink sandals and a messy Heidi-inspired braided updo.

Diane Von Furstenberg's Journey Of A Dress Exhibition 1The opening-party premiere of Diane Von Furstenberg’s ‘Journey of a Dress’ exhibition brought out a constellation of fashionable femmes (and fans) to preview the show at the Wilshire May Company Building in Los Angeles, California on Friday (January 10). Naturally, all the girls had on the best DVF designs.

Gwyneth Paltrow: Putting some sizzle into her strut, the actress vamped it up just a bit in a wrap jumpsuit, accented with a satin ribbon tie at the side. I found myself liking this sexy and streamlined approach from Gwynnie, especially with that magenta-pink lip. Yes, the plunge neckline is significant, but she’s perhaps one of the few that can make it work to her advantage.

Allison Williams: Looking as classically chic as ever, the ‘Girls’ starlet was oh-so-mod in a monochromatic ‘Amelia’ wrap dress with a flirty, graphic-patterned twirl skirt, from the Spring 2014 collection. She put a twist on the still-trending white pump with her Jimmy Choo ‘Madien’ pumps that were accented with a black ankle-strap and heel. Raising the girly look to a vintage-glam level, she styled her hair into a retro faux bob and painted on a deep-red lip.

Rooney Mara: The actress stayed in her black comfort zone in an asymmetrical dress topped off with a black satin ribbon. A tightly swept-back ‘do and oxblood lip added a more severe note to the loose frock—so, too, did the strange, one-shoulder jacket sleeve.

Bella Thorne’s laidback outfit on the red carpet of the DigiFest LA may have been casual, but her pretty strands were holiday party worthy. The look is perfect for any festivity; the wispy waves add glamour in the front and the deconstructed braids are sure to grab everyone’s attention. Not to mention, those bangs that perfectly framed Bella’s face.

LA based hairstylist, Cesar Ramirez, says the key to getting the voluminous waves is to create volume from the roots. Before adding heat, he prepped her locks with the Alterna Caviar Style Prep.

Instead of turning to a curling iron, the waves were created by using a flat iron. Make sure to opt for one with large ceramic plates, which ensures even heat distribution throughout each strand. Cesar chose the Harry Josh Pro Tools Ceramic Styling Iron to style the tousled strands.

Creating the braids is surprisingly easier than it looks. Grab a section from the left side and begin French braiding. Ramirez said, “The trick is to drop off a piece of the braid after each criss-cross while making your way over to the opposite side.”

Once you’ve made it across, French braid the right side, this time adding the dropped strands in with the second braid.  Ensure your braids and waves stay in place with hairpins and Alterna Caviar Working Spray.

Don’t stress if the braids slightly unravel throughout the night. Softness is key to this look and deconstruction only helps.
