Dior x Madame Figaro Dinner

Last weekend, Madame Figaro and Dior hosted a dinner during the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 12), with three beauties in attendance.

Diane Kruger: You might have expected Diane to wear Dior, but instead she opted for this Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2018 matching ensemble. The boxier tunic is in line with the loose-fitting silhouettes we’ve seen thus far in her Cannes run. But, the embellished attitude and queen of hearts motif sees her embrace her signature edgy-forward side. I love her candy-red lip but I wish she had opted for a sleek pump instead of strappy sandals.

Naomi Campbell: I love how regal yet whimsical Naomi looked in this Christian Dior Spring 2018 Haute Couture triple organza dress that was hand-painted and embroidered with a pleated tulle cape. With the cape overlay, it offered a more delicate side to the supermodel’s style, and a refreshing way to wear both sheer and Dior.

Bella Hadid: Speaking of sheer, Bella went for the more ubiquitous Dior look of late with this red tulle corset dress. However, despite the see-through elements, I actually found myself quite liking the sort of beautiful renegade spirit she brought to the frock with the off-the-shoulder detail that insouciantly mixed with the elaborateness of sparkling jewels. My biggest qualm was actually the mini ‘Lady Dior’ bag, as it seemed rather heavy for the diaphanous, diamond-dusted look.

Blackkklansman’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

There was no shortage of high octane fashion at the premiere of ‘Blackkklansman’ at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival on Monday evening (May 14). Celebrities joined Damaris LewisLaura Harrier and Naomi Campbell.

Natasha Poly: The pastel purple hue brought an ethereal quality to the unabashed sexiness of her Atelier Versace Spring 2018 dress. It had every sensual element and came to life when in motion. I’m of two minds about removing the front skirt panel as it often seems like it’s in the way.

Winnie Harlow: The vivid green hue of her Ralph & Russo Spring 2018 Haute Couture outfit has such a bewitching quality and looks wonderful with her complexion. Alas, the material is not holding up very well for a couture look. It’s rather wilted.

Bella Hadid In Christian Dior Haute Couture – ‘Ash Is The Purest White (Jiang Hu Er Nv) Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Bella Hadid made a graceful entrance onto the Cannes Film Festival red carpet for the premiere of ‘Ash Is The Purest White (Jiang Hu Er Nv)’ this evening (May 10)

Finally I hear some of you say.

The model wore a dusky pink satin cuir gown especially designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri of Dior for the occasion.

It was a movie star moment worthy of the event, and her jewels were simply breath-taking, but if you’re like me, you’re having a mild case of déjà vu.

That’s because Bella opened Cannes last year in a dress of a similar hue.

Models @ 2018 Met Gala

Naturally, the models were out in force for the 2018 Met Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York City. Here’s what these ‘heavenly bodies’ had on.

Ashley Graham: Channeling a bronzed goddess moment, the model donned an Atelier Prabal Gurung sequin-encrusted gown that introduced a dramatic, Met-ready sensibility with the long, satin-edged cape. The leg jut was put to work, with Taski jewels and Giuseppe Zanotti sandals completing the look.

Bella Hadid: I’m sure many will be raising their hands in praise that Bella opted for something a bit more covered than her naked bodysuit from last year’s Met Gala. This custom Chrome Hearts x Gareth Pugh design riffed on sinner and saint with the dark glamour of the latex corset and sculptural, villainous cape and fingerless gloves. This would have been all bad-girl were it not for the cross necklace and cross-embroidered veil that trailed behind her.

Gigi Hadid In Atelier Versace & Bella Hadid In Vintage Christian Dior – Gigi Hadid’s 23rd Birthday Party

Gigi Hadid recently celebrated her 23rd birthday with her sister, Bella Hadid, at a party in New York City on Monday (April 23).

Gigi Hadid: The birthday girl stole the show in her gold Atelier Versace mini-dress that was embellished with golden thread and disks along with two iconic Medusa buckles at the bottom. Full of sexiness, sass, and shine, this was everything a modern golden-girl look should be. I’m sure she had a blast wearing this little number. Christian Louboutin ‘Spikoo’ ankle-strap pumps along with warm, golden-metallic eye makeup completed the look that lit up the night.

Bella Hadid: I love how Bella let her older sister have the brightest focus, but still had some fun with her look from the Christian Dior Fall 2000 archives. The sultry slip dress proved that animal print is forever a classic, and the leopard tones and metallic patchwork were perfectly coordinated with Gigi’s look.

Bella Hadid In Christian Dior – ‘Dior, The Art of Color’ Exhibition

Bella Hadid was at the ‘Dior, The Art of Color’ exhibition at MoCA Shanghai on Wednesday (March 21) in China.

As the model can sometimes favour bold and barely-there statements, I was pleasantly surprised to see her in this Christian Dior Fall 2017 ruffled, point d’espirit gown.

This reminds me of her elegant turn at the last ‘Dior, The Art of Color’ exhibition last fall.

Even more surprisingly, she even wore the Dior dress with a lining.

Although we’ve seen the look on both Felicity Jones and Sofia Carson, I thought Bella commanded it with an even stronger presence of form and sophisticated panache—especially with her sculptural ponytail.

Would you agree?

Dior Addict Lacquer Plump Launch with Bella Hadid

Dior darlings were out in force to kiss and tell at the Dior Addict Lacquer Plump Launch with Bella Hadid on Wednesday (March 14) in LA.

Bella Hadid: The host and girl of the hour threw it back to the ’60s in this Dior blue patchwork denim coat with a white shrunken shirt and matching, cropped jeans. I love how she fully embraced the retro-mod aura with her winged eyeliner and blush-nude pout.

Paris Jackson: Speaking of a mod, swooped cat eye, Paris was also rocking one with her Dior yellow ‘Positive’ Niki de Saint Phalle Dragon-embroidered jumper styled with high-waist, wide-legged denim that was accented by decorative metal rings. ‘Walk’N’Dior’ shoes, a black ‘J’adior’ bag, Djula diamond hoop earrings, Spallanzani bracelets, and diamond rings from Hearts on Fire all accessorised her free-spirited look.

Natalia Dyer: When it comes to throwback vibes, the ‘Stranger Things’ starlet had a true ‘Pretty in Pink’ moment with this Dior pink and black striped bodysuit worn with a pink lace pleated skirt. When styled with her wispy updo and a black Dior ‘Addict’ bag, this look had me charmed with its sweet and sassy sides.
