Aubrey Plaza In Coach – Build Series Present: ‘The Little Hours’

Aubrey Plaza looked pretty in print on Thursday (June 29) at the Build Studios in New York City to discuss her new film, ‘The Little Hours.’

Keeping it simple and casual, the actress opted for a floaty Coach Pre-Fall 2017 feminine floral print dress.

I love the retro rounded collar and the white lining which adds some subtle intrigue to this look. The mismatched hem is another masterstroke which keeps things interesting.

However, the only thing preventing me from loving her look are her ballet flats.

Had she opted for the cool chunky heels on the runway it would’ve taken her look out the grannyish territory it currently resides.

Aubrey Plaza In Red Valentino & Miu Miu – ‘The Little Hours’ & ‘Ingrid Goes West’ LA Screenings

Aubrey Plaza has been at the 2017 Los Angeles Film Festival, where she attended the screening of ‘The Little Hours’ on Monday (June 19) and the closing night screening of ‘Ingrid Goes West’ on Thursday (June 22).

‘The Little Hours’: Despite the embroidered, decorative floral throughout, this Red Valentino Fall 2017 dress resonated more strongly on the solemnly conservative scale that would also seem a bit heavy for summer. So, I’m glad she tried to lighten the mood with her ponytail and pumps although a sandal would have likely been even more successful.

‘Ingrid Goes West’: With a distinct vintage flavour, this pleated, pink Miu Miu frock had something of a quirky, retro charm completed by the black platform heels—even if I didn’t exactly understand the wash of her purple eyeliner here.

Coach & Rodarte Spring 2017 Collaboration Dinner Party

Last night, Rodarte’s Kate and Laura Mulleavy and Coach’s Stuart Vevers celebrated the forthcoming Coach & Rodarte collection, launching worldwide on April 12th.

Consisting of ready-to-wear and leather goods that merge the established tradition of Coach with the younger, avant-garde spirit of Rodarte, the capsule collection delivers the height of both styles and will be available from April 12th at Coach.com and April 14th at Coach stores and specialty retailers worldwide.

The three designers celebrated their collaboration at a private dinner at Hollywood’s iconic Musso & Frank Grill, where there were no shortage of starlets in attendance with each showing off the collection’s cool-girl looks.

Bella Heathcote: The idea of an embellished, leather dress took on new meaning with this softer, feminine shape that dazzled in a striking array of sequined floral. The sophistication of tough-chic leather continued with her burgundy heels and chain-link mini clutch. It was the blue eye shadow that was more of an acquired taste.

Yara Shahidi: Yara completely sold this look to me, tempering the girly nature of the embellished, bow-accented dress with the sporty, varsity jacket emblazoned with flowers. I would have never paired such a sizable handbag or the bronze platform sandals, but she makes it all work together.

Chloe Moretz: Never ceasing to impress, Chloe made a striking statement with her top-to-toe rock-star swagger. The leather moto jacket featured a similar floral sequin motif as Yara’s bag and Bella’s dress. However, the simplicity of the black jumpsuit underneath really allowed the jacket to shine, with her punk-pretty makeup elevating the strong attitude of the ensemble even more.

2017 Film Independent Spirit Awards Red Carpet Roundup

More stars were also in attendance at the 2017 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday (February 25) in Santa Monica, California.

Danielle Brooks: The ‘OITNB’ actress took the plunge in an Urban Zen by Donna Karan wrap jersey tunic and pant, complemented by a body chain—as if enough attention wasn’t already directed to the girls.

Natasha Lyonne: The actress took a custom Creatures of The Wind rose and green floral dresses out for a spin. The pleated frock held promise, but I couldn’t see the forest for the trees given the clunky, distracting styling with the oversized white clutch and ivory boots.

Aubrey Plaza In Rasario – Premiere Of FX’s ‘Legion’

When it comes to standing out on the red carpet, nothing creates a feel-good mood quite like a sequin dress.

Aubrey Plaza’s Rasario Spring 2017 frock was certainly not in short supply of a paillette or two, with a charming bow adding both sophistication and girliness to the look.

You may think that her black pumps were a tad dull, but Sophia Webster doesn’t do dull, as these babies feature a crystal heel.

Aubrey Plaza In Alexandre Vauthier – 2015 Emmy Awards

Aubrey Plaza In Alexandre Vauthier - 2015 Emmy Awards

Aubrey Plaza brought old Hollywood glam to the red carpet of the 2015 Emmy Awards Sunday night (September 20) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The actress wore a a slinky Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2015 gown with tiny red glittering polka dots and a deep neck V and leg slit that let us know she’s got a figure worth envying.

I love that Aubrey’s style is a bit unpredictable, which made this look a wonderful surprise for me. I love how easy and frankly, comfortable, this gown looks while still being elegant and fun. The sleeve length, the neckline–it’s all superb, and I’m giving Aubrey a standing ovation from afar.

Delicate Lorraine Schwartz jewels, classic pointy-toed black pumps, a sleek bob and playful pink eyeshadow are the cherry on top of this look.
