Red Carpet Fashion Awards

I’m hating myself right now, and I know I’m going to be shot down for this, but I’m loving this 3.1 Phillip Lim dress in pink, as worn by Aubrey O’Day.

The singer wore this dress to the 4th Annual Music Saves Lives Event in LA last night.

Yes she desperately needs a bra, but the dress itself is gorgeous. I have looked everywhere for it, but can only find a picture of the pink version in Teen Vogue’s April 2009 issue.

We have seen this 3.1 Phillip Lim winding zipper ruffle dress, on so many celebs in black, that Aubrey’s summery pink version is a refreshing change. No? Please some one agree with me LOL.

RUINED, Ruined, ruined. I can never look at this Chloe Spring 2009 dress with any type of love or affection since it has been worn by Aubrey O’Day.

I refused to love anything she has worn, even if she did wear it in a pretty peachy colour.

She should have strapped her breast down, or worn the dress with the runway belt, then maybe the dress wouldn’t have been bunch up around her breasts, making the dress look incredibly awkward.

*crys – Whhhyyyeeee*

Jenny McCartney does her best to erase the previous image from my mind, by looking gorgeous in a tropical print Gucci Spring 2009 mini dress, worn with a taupe leather wrap around tie-belt.

Her hair is not rocking my world, but her Gucci Spring 2009 platform heels are.

With her blunt bob, Paris Hilton wears a fuchsia pink dress, which is structured to give her more hips.

The star wears her Santino Rice dress with her favourite silver Gina pumps, and her very favourite Christian Louboutin Maykimay clutch.

Rachel Zoe sure does love her flowing gowns. This grey chiffon Notte by Marchesa gown, has wonderful gold embellished neckline.

I must say she’s really looking good these days.

I nearly fell off my chair when I saw Shanna Moakler wearing this strapless Oscar de la Renta black silk faille Shibori dress from the Spring 2009 collection.

Don’t get me wrong she looks fantastic in the black and white dress, but it’s not a brand I would’ve thought she would wear.

I like it when celebs surprise me on the red carpet.

Bethenny Frankel wore a the dove grey gown version of the RM by Roland Mouret Moon dress, we were drooling over 2 years ago, when it was first worn by Victoria Beckham.

She does look amazing in this gown. The beauty of Roland Mouret’s work is that it’s timeless.

Chelsea Handler is not one I would normally watch on the red carpet, but I love her Dolce & Gabbana bustier tulip dress, and matching gold Mary Norton clutch.

What lets her down – I’m sure you’ll agree – is her hair.

From the D List, to this so called A List event, Kathy Griffin for once looks outstanding in her black sequined dress. I’m sure she opened her mouth and ruined everything, but in pictures she looks great.

Kelly Rowland’s electric blue Issa plunge front dress is right on trend, but that curly ‘do is bringing back painful jheri curl memories.

After her maroon Prada gown from a few weeks ago, Milla Jovovich appears to have fallen in love with the colour, as she wore a maroon dress again for this event.

Gold accessories were the perfect touch, to add more warmth to this look.

Kim Kardashian wears a very sexy black velvet Thierry Mugler dress with black accessories, including a black Mary Norton clutch.

The dress really does stand out, and gives her a great silhouette, but my problem is that this dress feels to serious for such a light-hearted event. She should have saved this for a more worthy event.

Wearing waaaayyy too much foundation, Khloe Kardashian wears a multi-coloured belt with her LBD. The only thing I like here are her nude accessories, as you know they are very on trend.

Celebs sure do love Dolce & Gabbana’s white bustier dresses. This is the second one of the weekend. First the gown version was worn by Marisa Miller at the CMAs, now Padma Lakshmi.

After the Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards, Ashley Tisdale skipped over town to attend Perez Hilton’s birthday party.

Still wearing the same open toe booties from the awards do, Ashley changed out of her cute Akiko Ogawa dress, to something more edgy.

From her whole look, I really loved her A.L.C. Motorcycle jacket. It went with Ashley’s wannabee rock chick vibe, which included her white Siwy Hannah slim jeans, and her ripped tee. Kate Moss would applaud her efforts.

I have never been a fan of white jeans, but these I love.

Amanda Bynes’ fuschia pink dress really showed off her tan.

I can’t talk about that hair as it drives mental, but I will point out, that whilst applying her tan, she forgot to do her hands. Ooops.

I love Paris Hilton’s black studded Giusppe Zanotti booties, but I’m not crazy about this hard edge look.

I prefer her wearing cutesy dresses, but I guess this look is right for this occasion, even though the skirt sits a little high for my liking.

Off-topic – Am I the only one very suspicious about this Doug Reinhardt guy?

I don’t think this jumpsuit is doing Kim Kardashian any favours. She appears wider than what she really is. Plus the shape and size of the belt just doesn’t work.

Before today, I was totally in love with that Prada python clutch. The lust factor has faded somewhat, now I have seen Heidi Montag carrying.

The LBD is as you would expect – revealing. And her cream platform heels are from the Gucci Spring 2009 collection.

I don’t quite understand why Aubrey O’Day is pouting so much, she already has enough collagen in her lips to fill a kids size swimming pool.

As you would expect the dress is hideous, and her choice of Christian Louboutin short Tina fringe pumps complete this monstrosity.

Emmy Rossum really stands out from this crowd. I feel like she is doing community service.

She sticks to her usual style of wearing a cute unoffensive dress, which shimmers so brightly.

Taraji P. Henson was the first to wear this Black Halo ruffle sleeved dress when she attended the Eagle Eye premiere last September.

The Oscar nominated actress accessorized with a gold bracelet, a black clutch and nude pumps.

Debra Messing wore a blue version of this Black Halo dress, when she attended the Avakian Beverly Hills Boutique Celebration in December.

She completed her look with a gold necklace, a gold box clutch, and a pair of multi-coloured Brian Atwood Marielle satin pumps.

Lisa Rinna followed Debra a few days later, wearing the same dress to the release party of her DVD, Dance Body Beautiful.

She wore her dress with a matching blue bracelet, and gold slingback peep-toes.

Britney Spears wore the same dress in black, when she attended her brothers wedding on New Year’s Eve with black pumps.

On Wednesday Aubrey O’Day was spotted in Atlantic City wearing the same dress in blue, whilst posing for the paparazzi inside The Pool nightclub at Harrah’s.

Taraji’s nude pumps help her win this for me.

This Black Halo keyhole ruffle sleeve sheath dress can be purchase in many colours.

Black from Saks.com ($345), purple from Tobi.com ($345) and Grey from Revolve Clothing (£238.41/$345.00).

“Revolutionary Road” London Premiere

Kate Winslet was an absolute knock-out, when she arrived at the premiere of Revolutionary Road wearing the ultimate LBD in London last night.

Her black Narciso Rodriguez was extremely flattering, as the criss-crossed glossy leather top, with the leather strips on the sides of the dress, sculptured her toned body. The keyhole detail flashed us a hint of cleavage, which on some would look a bit tacky, but not on Kate.

Love her. She is the first entrant for Best Dressed of The Week.

NRJ Music Awards 2009, Cannes

Usually when a celebrity breaks up with their partner, their style improves.

Anne Hathaway and Reese Witherspoon immediately spring to mind.

So I wonder why Katy Perry is bucking that trend and looking hideous on the red carpet, wearing an ill-fitting white Dolce & Gabbana suit.

Emporio Armani Menswear Fashion Show, Milan

Kelly Brook arrived at the Emporio Armani Fall 2009 menswear fashion show with her boyfriend Danny Cirpiani.

The couple looked very loved up in their Armani ensembles.

2009 Park City – AXE Fix Club, Utah

Paris Hilton can’t do with a bit of bling, so she matched her diamante hair band with the diamante detail on her black mini dress.

She completed her look with a white shrug.

Aubrey O’Day not surprising wore this Blumarine Fall 2008 leopard print dress to stand out. She strangely wore her dress with orange platform heels.
