2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards Red Carpet Roundup

2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards brought even more lovelies to the red carpet at The Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (March 29) in Los Angeles, California.

Iggy Azalea: After impressing at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, the Aussie rapper continued her chic streak in a Fausto Puglisi ensemble before taking to the stage to perform ‘Trouble’ with Jennifer Hudson. A funky, hip-hop edge was certainly presented and accounted for in this long-sleeve mesh shirt, black vest, and loud-and-proud, embellished animal-print leggings, which I actually found myself quite liking for the occasion. But it was her bouncy blonde ringlets and pink-glossed lip that completely sold the look to me. Do you agree?

Shannon Bex and Aubrey O’Day
: Taking ‘twinning’ to another level, the dumblonde songstresses have traded platinum-blonde locks for ombre gray waves in rather tongue-in-cheek fashion. Almost a perfect mirror reflection of each other, they put a sexed-up spin on their mannish black suits with cleavage-baring plunge necklines, styling the looks with striking silver stilettos and gold pendant necklaces along with super-smoky eyes and a pale nude lip.

Danity Kane – 2013 MTV Video Music Awards #VMAs

2013 MTV Video Music Awards - Red Carpet

While every girl born before 1995 was excited about ‘N Sync’s onstage reunion last night at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, Danity Kane were also using the occasion to announce their reformation minus D. Woods.

Showing how united they are, the girls worked a black-and-white cohesive look.

Shannon Bex: Her white tuxedo with black satin lapels does little to cover up her leather bralet and hot pants look. This look would’ve been sexier had she worn a tuxedo dress.

Aundrea Fimbres: For some reason I didn’t recognise Aundrea. She also opted for a thigh-skimming look like the rest of her bandmates, but her look was the most forgettable.

Aubrey O’Day: The singer and reality TV star stood out wearing a long-sleeved bold-shouldered mini dress with a rise-and-fall hemline styled with on-trend white pumps and a striped clutch, with emerald earrings setting her look apart.

Dawn Richards: If it wasn’t for the heavy boots, I would’ve said this white romper and black tailcoat was my favourite of the bunch.

Is anyone excited about this reunion?

Who Wore Temperley London Better? Princess Beatrice or Aubrey O’Day

If this was a Disney movie, it would be titled “The Lady and the Tramp”.

Princess Beatrice walked the red carpet with her boyfriend, sister and mother to attend “The Young Victoria” World Premiere held at the Odeon, Leicester Square in London back in March.

She wore a Temperley London Spring 2009 cobalt silk asymmetrical dress with a draped sleeve that links into the bubble hem.

She teamed her dress with silver accessories including heels, clutch and a chain belt.

Aubrey O’Day wore the same dress to the LA premiere of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” with silver Louboutin heels.

At the time I said this was the best I have ever seen Aubrey on the red carpet, as she wasn’t revealing anything and the dress appeared to be the right size for once.

As much as I want to give this to Princess Beatrice, I much prefer Aubrey’s heels and I’m glad she didn’t wear a belt as the jewel detail on the shoulder is enough detail for this dress, so Aubrey wins for me.

Nylon Magazine’s TV Issue Launch Party

Anna Paquin is NYLONs’ September 2009 cover girl and was the guest of honour at this event.

She arrived alongside actor Stephen Moyer wearing a Herve Leroux LBD with black peep-toes.

Her sexy pencil dress had a sheer plunging neckline and sheer long sleeves.

I would’ve preferred this dress to be sleeveless like the dress Megan Fox wore on Letterman.

AnnaLynne McCord also opted for a sexy LBD, but hers was a strapless Camilla and Marc Lotus Frock tulle dress.

I love the playfulness of this dress with the tulle skirt, which suits AnnaLynne as she always seems to be having fun on the red carpet.

The feminine frills were countered with a large studded belt.

I love the pops of colour which added a touch of tangerine and lemon fresh sunshine to her look.

Those of you who purchased the Zara Fall 2009 LBD with pointed shoulders look away now, as Aubrey O’Day might totally ruin this look for you.

The ex-Danity Kane singer wore the form fitting dress, with bright pink peep-toe heels, and shocking pink lipstick.

Apart from Stella McCartney, Jenna Dewan is the only person who has made the dreaded thigh-high boot not look tacky.

Maybe it’s the maroon colour or her ditsy print floral dress, but I really like how she worked these boots.

When I was looking at pictures of Katie Cassidy today, another blonde bombshell came to mind – Charlize Theron.

I’m not saying they look alike, but her hairstyle is very similar to how Theron styles her hair.

My ‘Flavour of the Week’ looked fabulous wearing a one-shouldered animal print Nicole Miller dress with a fan detail on the bodice.

I love the asymmetrical detail on the skirt and the unexpected raspberry Rock & Republic’s “Nika” pumps which brighten up the look.

Animal prints are not easy to pull off, but I think Katie does so very well.

Whilst a lot of people opted for black at this party, Madeline Zima wore a bright orange dress with pink tulle underskirt.

Her stand out dress was paired with a teal clutch and nude peep-toes.

Alison Brie wore an electric blue French Connection Fast Bonny asymmetrical dress which was very popular with UK soaps stars.

Grey accessories completed the look.

It’s Britney b***h.  No actually it’s a blonder Kristin Cavallari.

“The Hills” stars showed of her lighten ‘do as she walked the red carpet wearing a silver metallic cold-shoulder Elise Øverland Fall 2009 dress, paired with some black ankle boots and a black clutch.

I miss cute strappy sandals. Why do ankle boots have to be paired with everything these days?

Social Events Of The Weekend

Svedka Adult Playground Presents Brent Bolthouse Photography Exhibit, LA

I said to myself last week that Kim Kardashian’s lighter locks would grow on me, but it hasn’t yet. I still really dislike the look.

At this event she wore an Alexander Wang denim corset top with a black mini skirt, oversized blazer and black pumps.

Like the look, hate the hair.

Nicky Hilton is getting a lot of wear out of her Christian Louboutin Very Prive studded peep-toe pumps which she pairs with a cute floral Topshop dress.

Rumor Willis Celebrates Her 21st Birthday at TAO, Las Vegas

For once I don’t hate Rumer Willis look – although I’m not crazy about her shoe choice – but I love her silver mini sparkling Toni Maticevski dress.

I was confident if she dyed her hair back to its original dark colour this would improve her overall look, and it shows here.

Audrina Patridge helped celebrate Rumer’s 21st birthday.

She arrived wearing a micro LBD from Alice + Olivia like only she can, with predictable black peep-toes.

Catalyst at Terranea Resort, LA

AnnaLynne McCord paired a pink layered tank with black pants and sexy black t-bar heels with gold trims.

Camille Guaty looked really cute wearing a ultra girlie Jill Stuart strapless floral dress which she accessorized with a chunky gold necklace and gold strappy Jimmy Choo sandals.

It looks like Victoria Beckham isn’t the only ex-Spice Girl to become stale.

Melanie Brown is wearing a Herve Leger dress which Sophia Bush and Leona Lewis wore a year ago with snake-skin Christian Louboutin Differa sandals.

The TAG Heuer Cocktail Reception, Toronto

With a blue and grey sleeved Thuy Fall 2009 dress, Maria Sharapova wore her favourite Coe Haan heels whilst carrying a gold clutch.

Boa Restuarant, LA

Even off the red carpet Amanda Bynes still opts for LBDs to go dinner with friends.

The fact that both her heels and clutch are not black, is a step in the right direction.

Playhouse nightclub, Las Vegas

Aubrey O’Day wore a multi-coloured striped Herve Leger Fall 2008 dress with ivory Christian Louboutin Differa sandals.

I do like her dress mostly because of the colour, but also because she’s not spilling out of it.
