Ashley Madekwe In Topshop – BAFTA Los Angeles and Sir Philip Green Celebrate The British New Wave at Topshop

On Tuesday, Ashley Madekwe turned out for the BAFTA Los Angeles and Sir Philip Green Celebrate the British New Wave event, hosted at Topshop Topman at The Grove in Los Angeles, California.

Naturally, the ‘Revenge’ actress pledged her allegiance to Topshop with this exploded-check dungaree jumpsuit, worn with simple black sandals and a black, copper-accented clutch.

And, in so doing, she further extended my love of the jumpsuit—even one inspired by overalls.

While not all starlets could carry off this mannish moment nor the peg-pant silhouette, Ashley did so with stylish aplomb.

Loose waves and nude makeup softened the masculine edge, and a gold charm necklace added a glint of shine.

Ashley Madekwe In Monique Lhuillier – 34th College Television Awards Gala

Ashley Madekwe attended the 34th College Television Awards Gala held at JW Marriott Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles, California yesterday evening.

She wore a look with a striking marine-blue wave print which is instantly recognisable from the Monique Lhuillier Spring 2013 collection.

Her figure-flattering look features a peplum top and pencil skirt, styled with a chartreuse Jimmy Choo ‘Tube’ clutch and Jimmy Choo ‘Greta’ sandals.

I adore the mix of colours here, especially when topped off with the pretty pink lip colour.

You may remember that Leslie Mann wore a Monique Lhuillier dress with the same print late last year.

Mulberry Autumn Winter 2013 Chateau Marmont Party

Mulberry hosted a dinner party at the Chateau Marmont to celebrate their Fall 2013 collection, bringing a touch of the rural English countryside to sunny LA.

Ashley Madekwe: The actress showcased her impeccable flare for fashion, wearing a black-and-white on-trend look, styling a Mulberry short-sleeved peplum blouse with animal-print pants. During the party, she toted around a Mulberry ‘Suffolk’ bag from the Fall 2013 collection. Still not on board with those bangs.

Marisa Tomei: As always, the actress made a big fashion statement, wearing a Mulberry Fall 2013 shiny oxblood look featuring oversized bell sleeves. The length of the pants is perfect, as is that stunning pendant necklace.

Emily Mortimer: The British actress gave us a chic office look, pairing an emerald-green silk blouse with a black pencil skirt à la Miss Moneypenny. Black pumps and a Mulberry ‘Willow’ clutch from the Fall 2013 collection completed her look.

Ashley Madekwe In Versus – An Evening with ‘Revenge’

Ashley Madekwe took to the red carpet for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences’ ‘An Evening with Revenge’, held at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre on Monday in North Hollywood, California.

The stylish actress, who gave her long bangs a debut, wore a Versus Spring 2013 dress.

One can always rely on Ashley to bring something fun, fresh and colourful to the red carpet, and that was most definitely the case with this hot-pink grommet accented halter dress.

Showing off her lean legs, Ashley only added Saint Laurent ‘Jane’ sandals to her look.

The dress is perfection, but preferred Ashley sans bangs. The hair-in-your-eyes trend, as started by Sophia Bush, doesn’t work for me.

Ashley Madekwe In J. Mendel – 15th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards

Sporting a fun and flirty look, Ashley Madekwe joined Anne Hathaway on the red carpet for the 15th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards, held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California yesterday evening.

The ‘Revenge’ star wore a J. Mendel Spring 2013 colourful floral confection, which was electric.

Aside from the glorious mix of pink and purple, her sleeveless trapeze top and A-line skirt was expertly styled, as we’ve come to expect from Ashley.

She added pink Christian Louboutin ‘Neuron’ sandals with sparkling pink diamante details, and a black leather clutch with gold detailing to balance out all the girlie pink.

A selection of gold jewels, including a Cartier bracelet and David Yurman ring, flaw-free makeup and a slicked-back ponytail completed her look. She was easily my favourite at this event.

Topshop & Topman LA Opening Launch Party

Topshop will open its doors for the first time today at The Grove in Califorina.

Last night, Sir Philip Green invited a host of Hollywood stars to help celebrate the grand opening at Cecconi’s West Hollywood on Melrose Avenue.

Ashley Madekwe: The ‘Revenge’ actress was my favourite from this event. She donned a sexy Topshop mixed-texture bodycon dress that I have been cruising for a while. After seeing Ashley, I say she owned it, so I will not be attempting to follow her. Simple styling completed her sporty look.

Solange Knowles: No surprises that Solange picked a look from the edgier Topshop Unique section. Her silk check shirt, cross-print shorts and black blazer were styled with Chanel Spring 2013 striped platform pumps.

Demi Lovato: Even with what appears to be a broken foot, I am not surprised to see Demi Lovato attend this event. The singer and X Factor judge pretty much wears Topshop exclusively and I’m sure this store will become a home away from home for her.

Liberty Ross: The model/actress has gone through some tough times, so I feel bad in saying that her Anthony Vaccarello Fall 2012 dress screams desperate and attention seeking which I find totally ironic.
