Anne Hathaway is talented, smart, stylish and gorgeous, so it’s no surprise that many of you wanted tips on how to recreate her look.

Chanel makeup artist Kate Lee created what she calls a “timeless” look for Anne Hathaway at New York’s The Dark Knight Rises premiere, topped off by a rosy lip and a bold brow.

Skincare:
Lee started out by prepping the skin with Chanel Hydra Beauty Serum, quickly following with an oil-free primer to lock in the moisture.

Foundation:
Lee used two foundations: Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Makeup SPF 15 as a light veil around the periphery and then for the areas where she wanted a little more coverage, she used Chanel Perfection Lumiere Long Wear Fluid Makeup SPF 10, which was applied with a nylon brush and blended out with a Beauty Blender sponge.

Blush:
Chanel Powder Blush in Espiegle gave cheeks the perfect flush.

Eye Shadow:
Anne’s lids were given a gentle wash of color with a soft vanilla shadow, and the brow bone was highlighted with Chanel Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Ivory.

Eyeliner:
The lash line was traced with a small brush and Lee used black cake liner.

Mascara:
The lashes were curled with the Chanel Precision Eyelash Curler, and given two generous coats of Chanel Inimitable Waterproof Mascara top and bottom. I then added a few soft faux lashes on the top lash for fullness.

Brows:
Lee used Anastasias Brow Gel to set the brows in place then feathered in a little to perfect their shape.

Lips:
Anne’s pretty lip came from Chanel Rouge Coco Lip Colour in Rivoli, used as a stain, blotting and applying until she got the desired intensity. Lee then added a dab of Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream to add moisture. The result was a beautiful rosy hue.

Anne Hathaway’s promotional tour for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ continued in London as she was spotted leaving BBC’s Radio 1 on Thursday afternoon.

The actress wore yet another tweed cropped jacket, this time from Dolce & Gabbana.

She paired her jacket with a simple black top and skinny jeans with a seamed detailing.

Tory Burch cat-eye sunglasses and Stella McCartney faux crocodile wedges from the Fall 2012 collection completed her look.

You may have noticed that Anne has been wearing non-animal-origin shoes by Stella McCartney and Casadei during this promo tour.

The actress initially embraced a vegan diet to help her lose weight for several film roles, including ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ and ‘Les Misérables’, but she stayed with it because she liked it, so don’t expect to see her wearing patent-leather Louboutins any time soon.

Anne Hathaway struck a pose with Joseph Gordon-Levitt at the after-party for ‘The Dark Knight Rises premiere at Freemasons Hall in London, England.

Dressed in a brocade J. Mendel dress from the Resort 2013 collection and custom vegan Casadei heels, Hathaway looks every bit the Hollywood icon we know her to be.

While the J. Mendel dress is feminine, its playful, semi-wrap dress silhouette and muted silver colors work well with Anne’s cropped hair. And I love the way her pointy, silver heels don’t detract from the simple beauty of her look.

With no other accessory necessary apart from a good red lip, I think this is a winning look and reflects Hathaway’s approach to red carpet appearances.

Do you love Hathaway’s look? Well, thanks to Moda Operandi you can snag Anne’s dress along with other pieces from J. Mendel’s Resort 2013 collection during the J. Mendel trunk show.

Head to ModaOperandi.com now until July 24th to shop the stunning looks from one of our favorite Resort lines, including my personal favourite — a floor length floral stunner with panels and a mermaid-esque finish.

With everything from lace to romantic, Renaissance inspired frocks, J. Mendel knows how to cater to a girl’s style desires.

“Anne Hathaway is the very definition of modern gamine chic in this dress. Just as the simple silhouette is offset by the intricate embroidery, Anne’s cropped hair gives her ethereal beauty a cool nonchalance. She’s perfection!” – Gilles Mendel

Anne Hathaway joined her co-star Marion Cotillard on the red carpet at the Odeon Leicester Square for the London premiere of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ this evening.

The actress dazzled in a stunning Gucci halter gown with a keyhole opening at the back.

Her fully embellished gold beaded gown had a floral detailed neckline which was a feature on many of the looks from the recently presented Gucci Resort 2013 collection.

With accessories kept to a bare minimum, she added Tiffany jewels, Casadei satin pumps and a matte-pink lip colour to complete her look.

I have to say I love the simplicity of the overall look. Not many could pull off a pixie crop and a dress without much shape with such beautiful results.

However, I would’ve loved this look even more had it been a drop waist blouson dress.

Anne Hathaway and her fiance Adam Shulman looked very much in love as they strode through London Heathrow Airport in their matching Ray-Bans earlier today, ahead of tonight’s premiere for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’.

Looking remarkably fresh faced despite the long-haul flight, Anne wore a very casual look which included a Theyskens’ Theory Spring 2012 jacket.

The collarless tweed jacket with an iridescent trim was styled with a charcoal grey 19 4t ‘Raglan’ sweater and navy pants.

A Stella McCartney ‘Falabella’ bag, a gold pendant necklace and comfy Tory Burch ‘Holliday’ suede ballet espadrilles accessorized her look.

I have a feeling that Anne will opt for a British designer tonight. Either McCartney or McQueen.

Whoever she picks, I hope it is rain proof because the heavens have just opened up – again.
