Chanel And Charles Finch Pre-Oscar Dinner 3

There are fewer events more chic than Chanel’s annual pre-Oscar dinner co-hosted by Charles Finch. A host of glamorous stars celebrated an evening of fashion and film at Madeo in Beverly Hills, California, last night (March 1).

Emilia Clarke: ‘Game of Thrones’ actress Emilia Clarke dazzled at the event in a white boucle dress with silver sequin strips and light blue and yellow tweed. Her hair swept up over into a sleek quiff really suite Emilia and added a youthful spin. While the silver Manolo Blahnik sandals kept the look crisp and fresh, the white quilted Chanel clutch was a too big for my liking.

Naomie Harris: Looking radiant in a black tweed dress with dusky pink cap sleeves, Naomie Harris wowed at last night’s dinner. The dress was a great fit for Naomie and also offered a more ladylike change of pace to her usual sassy red carpet style. To finish, Naomie opted for a great chic pair of sandals and her sleek hair and rose tinted lip colour were just perfection. Naomie’s Chanel outing at the pre-BAFTA party wasn’t her strongest, how do you feel this one compares?

Anne Hathaway: Anne Hathaway has been switching up her style recently which is something I’ve really welcomed but last night she returned to her former signature style of a feminine shift dress and heels combo. Wearing a skater style black Chanel dress with lace insert, she added a bold red lip for some welcome drama. Anne styled the simple look with black Salvatore Ferragamo pointed-toe heels with straps which certainly added edge but I feel Anne could have opted for an altogether more commanding look, and one that suited her cool quiff.

Anne Hathaway In Diane von Furstenberg - First Annual Luncheon to Honor The Female Nominees of the 86th Oscars

Diane von Furstenberg, Anne Hathaway and Willow Bay hosted an intimate luncheon to celebrate the year’s female nominees for the 86th annual Academy Awards on Tuesday (February 26) in Los Angeles, California.

The Oscar winner wore a Diane von Furstenberg black top and leather leggings, which doesn’t immediately read as a DVF look without a vibrant print making up part of the outfit.

Rounding out her dark look, she added purple patent Salvatore Ferragamo pumps, with an Eva Fehren bracelet and earrings and a ring by Jennifer Fisher accessorizing her luncheon look.

Some of you are still acclimatizing to Anne’s new look; as you know, I personally love it and can’t wait to see who and what style she will go for on Sunday.

Anyone want to take a guess?

Anne Hathaway In Chloé - Louis XII and The Film Foundation’s Creative Encounter Even

Anne Hathaway attended the LOUIS XIII and The Film Foundation Creative Encounter event held at the Charles Aidikoff Screening Room on Wednesday (February 19) in Beverly Hills, California.

The actress, who has been working a whole new angle on the red carpet, wore a bright pastel-yellow shawl-lapel Chloe suit with a relaxed-fit jacket, styled with a white button-up Equipment ‘Brett’ blouse and Salvatore Ferragamo pale-grey patent-leather pointed-toe heels with straps.

Some have not been so crazed about Anne’s new look, but I’m excited to see that she’s trying new things. One can only wear so many Valentino dresses and florals before needing to switch things up.

Like this suit, it’s boyish in style, tailored to be smart but not too fussy.

I have to say, I love it from head to toe.

Anne Hathaway In Calvin Klein Collection - The Great American Songbook After-Party

Following her appearance on stage, Anne Hathaway changed for the after-party celebrating The Great American Songbook event on Monday (February 10) in New York City.

Dressed in all black, Anne wore a Calvin Klein Collection Spring 2014 look featuring a sleeveless crepe top with wide straps, a high straight neck, a bandeau bodice, and a suspended waist with all-over tonal fringe, styled with tapered black silk pants in preference over the wide-leg pants we saw on the runway.

A box clutch, ankle-strap pumps and silver jewels accessorized the look; the only thing missing for me was perhaps a bold lip colour.

Anne Hathaway In Vionnet - Great American Songbook Event Honoring Bryan Lourd

Anne Hathaway performed onstage during The Great American Songbook event honoring Bryan Lourd held at Alice Tully Hall on Monday (February 10) in New York City. In attendance were Gwyneth Paltrow and Reese Witherspoon.

The actress wore a Vionnet Spring 2014 navy textured asymmetrical backless dress with contrasting pale blue lining and a spaghetti strap for decoration.

This is quite an edgy look for Anne. Because she has recently changed stylists, I’m sure we will be seeing many more experimental looks from the actress.

Still working the cropped do, she styled her look with navy Nicholas Kirkwood strappy sandals.
