Anne Hathaway In IRO & Theory – ‘Song One’ New York Premiere

Anne Hathaway In IRO & Theory - 'Song One' New York Premiere

Anne Hathaway attended the New York premiere of her latest movie, ‘Song One’, at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema on Tuesday (January 20) following her guest appearance on the ‘Today’ show.

The actress, who had a so-so promo tour for ‘Interstellar’, starts off the year on a good footing wearing an ivory-chic look.

Some may question the fit of her IRO ‘Abrila’ shawl-collar blazer, but I think the loose-fit elements of the entire look, which also features Theory cropped trousers and sheer top, work perfectly together.

What also strikes me is how the ivory hue adds softness and femininity to this mannish offering.

Styled with white Louboutins and a gold Tod’s clutch, I will have to say this is a win for Anne, white shoes and all.

Anne Hathaway In ALC - The Today Show

Anne Hathaway made a guest appearance on the ‘Today’ show on Tuesday morning (January 20), taped at the NBC Rockefeller Center Studios in New York City, to promote her latest movie, ‘Song One’.

Opting for easy separates, the actress wore an A.L.C. Spring 2015 top and flared skirt, which offer a graphic impact that is both eye-catching and insouciantly youthful.

Working tousled tresses, she styled the look with grey tights and black pumps.

Should she have worn this look sans tights?

2015 AFI Awards Red Carpet Roundup

2015 AFI Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of the 2015 AFI Awards held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Friday (January 9), which was also attended by Keira Knightley and Jessica Chastain.

Anne Hathaway: Opting for a crisp, clean look, the ‘Interstellar’ actress wore a Protagonist white sheath dress styled with Tamara Mellon ‘Frontline’ nude sandals with Eva Fehren jewels.

Elisabeth Moss: I do love how Elisabeth’s summery outlook served up via this pretty Stella McCartney Spring 2015 v-neck flared dress; however, I can’t get on board with the accessories.

Kiernan Shipka: The teen actress was worked clashing prints selecting a fit-and -flare design from Peter Pilotto’s Spring 2015 collection. Keeping the styling simple with barely there makeup and black strappy sandals ensured the focus was on the frock.

Which Was Your Favourite Anne Hathaway ‘Interstellar’ Promo Tour Look?

Which Was Your Favourite Anne Hathaway ‘Interstellar’ Promo Tour Look

Anne Hathaway went into the ‘Interstellar’ promo tour with a new stylist and a brand new red carpet look.

Judging by your comments, this wasn’t a successful tour, so let’s take a look back at her looks and see if you can pick a favourite.

LA was the first stop on the tour where she donned a midnight-blue Richard Nicoll bias-cut gown which some deemed very unflattering.

Next up was London, my least favourite of the tour, where she wore a Wes Gordon Spring 2015 Swarovski-crystal-embroidered dress. I wanted to be wowed, but even with the embellishments and the hypnotic emerald accessories, I couldn’t have been more underwhelmed.

We wanted more so Anne upped the ante wearing a web-like embroidered lace, macramé lace, sequined, and Swarovski-crystalized Rodarte frock to the New York premiere, yet many were still unconvinced.

For the Washington DC premiere I could’ve perhaps got on board with her Calvin Klein look had it not been for the lacklustre hair.

On to Asia, where Anna promoted the movie in Shanghai wearing Lanvin to the photocall and a Chanel Couture dress to the premiere which saw Anne back to her captivating best. This was the only bright spark for me on the tour.

Anne Hathaway In Max Mara – Hollywood Walk Of Fame Ceremony

Anne Hathaway In Max Mara - Hollywood Walk Of Fame Ceremony

Anne Hathaway attended the Hollywood Walk Of Fame ceremony for her ‘Interstellar’ co-star Matthew McConaughey on Monday (November 17) in Hollywood, California.

The actress wore a Max Mara cream shawl-collar cropped jacket with matching wide-legged trousers, styled with a simple blouse, multi-coloured clutch, white Jimmy Choo ‘Tisri’ pumps and a Marni necklace.

Sometimes when pieces are oversized they look a bit sloppy, but not when they are expertly tailored, as in this case. I feel that this look works for Anne and her current new mature style chapter.
